  1 Et Salomon mit treize ans à bâtir sa propre maison, et il acheva toute sa maison.
  
  2 Et il bâtit la maison de la forêt du Liban, longue de cent coudées, et large de cinquante coudées, et haute de trente coudées, sur quatre rangs de colonnes de cèdre, et il y avait des poutres de cèdre sur les colonnes ;
  
  3 et elle était couverte de cèdre en haut, par dessus les chambres latérales, qui reposaient sur quarante-cinq colonnes, quinze par rang ;
  
  4 et il y avait trois rangées de fenêtres à linteaux saillants, un jour vis-à-vis d'un jour, trois fois.
  
  5 Et toutes les entrées et les poteaux étaient carrés, avec une architrave, un jour répondant à un jour, trois fois.
  
  6 Et il fit le portique à colonnes, long de cinquante coudées, et large de trente coudées, et un portique par devant, et des colonnes et un perron devant elles.
  
  7 Et il fit le portique du trône, où il jugeait, le portique de jugement ; et il était couvert de cèdre, de plancher à plancher.
  
  8 Et sa maison, où il habitait, avait une autre cour au dedans du portique ; elle était en ouvrage du même genre. Et il fit, sur le même plan que ce portique, une maison pour la fille du Pharaon, que Salomon avait prise pour femme.
  
  9 Tous ces bâtiments étaient en pierres de prix, des pierres de taille selon les mesures, sciées à la scie, au dedans et au dehors, depuis les fondements jusqu'au chaperon, et depuis le dehors jusqu'à la grande cour.
  
  10 Et les fondements étaient en pierres de prix, de grandes pierres, des pierres de dix coudées et des pierres de huit coudées.
  
  11 Et au-dessus, il y avait des pierres de prix, des pierres de taille selon les mesures, et du cèdre.
  
  12 Et la grande cour avait, tout à l'entour, trois rangées de pierres de taille et une rangée de poutres de cèdre ; et de même le parvis intérieur de la maison de l'Éternel et le portique de la maison.
  
  13 Et le roi Salomon envoya, et prit de Tyr Hiram.
  
  14 Il était fils d'une femme veuve de la tribu de Nephthali, et son père était Tyrien, ouvrier en airain ; et il était rempli de sagesse et d'intelligence, et de connaissance pour faire tous les ouvrages en airain ; et il vint vers le roi Salomon, et fit tout son ouvrage.
  
  15 Et il forma les deux colonnes d'airain : une colonne avait dix-huit coudées de hauteur, et un fil de douze coudées faisait le tour de l'autre colonne.
  
  16 Et il fit deux chapiteaux d'airain fondu pour les mettre sur les sommets des colonnes ; l'un des chapiteaux avait cinq coudées de hauteur, et l'autre chapiteau avait cinq coudées de hauteur.
  
  17 Il y avait aux chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes, des réseaux en ouvrage réticulé de torsades, en façon de chaînes, sept à un chapiteau, et sept à l'autre chapiteau.
  
  18 Il fit aussi des grenades, savoir deux rangées à l'entour, sur un réseau, pour couvrir les chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes ; et il en fit de même pour l'autre chapiteau.
  
  19 Et les chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes étaient d'un ouvrage de lis, comme dans le portique, de quatre coudées.
  
  20 Et les chapiteaux, sur les deux colonnes, en haut, joignaient le renflement qui était derrière le réseau ; et il y avait deux cents grenades, en rangées, autour de l'autre chapiteau.
  
  21 Et il dressa les colonnes vers le portique du temple ; et il dressa la colonne de droite, et appela son nom Jakin ; et il dressa la colonne de gauche, et appela son nom Boaz.
  
  22 Et sur le sommet des colonnes, il y avait un ouvrage de lis. Et l'ouvrage des colonnes fut achevé.
  
  23 Et il fit la mer de fonte, de dix coudées d'un bord à l'autre bord, ronde tout autour, et haute de cinq coudées ; et un cordon de trente coudées l'entourait tout autour.
  
  24 Et au-dessous du bord, tout à l'entour, il y avait des coloquintes qui l'environnaient, dix par coudée, entourant la mer tout autour, deux rangs de coloquintes, fondues d'une seule fonte avec elle.
  
  25 Elle était posée sur douze boeufs, trois tournés vers le nord, et trois tournés vers l'occident, et trois tournés vers le midi, et trois tournés vers le levant ; et la mer était sur eux, par-dessus ; et toute leur partie postérieure était en dedans.
  
  26 Et son épaisseur était d'une paume, et son bord était comme le travail du bord d'une coupe, en fleurs de lis ; elle contenait deux mille baths.
  
  27 Et il fit les dix bases d'airain ; la longueur d'une base était de quatre coudées, et la largeur, de quatre coudées, et la hauteur, de trois coudées.
  
  28 Et voici quel était l'ouvrage de la base : elles avaient des panneaux, des panneaux entre les baguettes,
  
  29 et, sur les panneaux qui étaient entre les baguettes, il y avait des lions, des boeufs, et des chérubins ; et sur les baguettes, au-dessus, il y avait un socle ; et, au-dessous des lions et des boeufs, il y avait des guirlandes en façon de festons.
  
  30 Et il y avait quatre roues d'airain à une base, et des essieux d'airain ; et les quatre pieds avaient des épaules. Au-dessous de la cuve, il y avait des épaules jetées en fonte, vis-à-vis de chacune des guirlandes.
  
  31 Et son ouverture, au dedans du chapiteau et au-dessus, était d'une coudée, et l'ouverture du chapiteau était ronde comme l'ouvrage du socle, d'une coudée et une demi-coudée ; et sur son ouverture il y avait aussi des sculptures ; et leurs panneaux étaient carrés, non pas ronds.
  
  32 Et les quatre roues étaient au-dessous des panneaux ; et les supports des roues étaient dans la base ; et la hauteur d'une roue était d'une coudée et une demi-coudée.
  
  33 Et l'ouvrage des roues était comme l'ouvrage d'une roue de char : leurs supports, et leurs jantes, et leurs rais, et leurs moyeux, tout était de fonte.
  
  34 Et il y avait quatre épaules, aux quatre coins d'une base ; les épaules sortaient de la base.
  
  35 Et à la partie supérieure de la base, il y avait une élévation d'une demi-coudée, ronde, tout autour, et, sur la partie supérieure de la base, les supports et les panneaux, de la même pièce.
  
  36 Et il grava sur les tables de ses supports et sur ses panneaux des chérubins, des lions, et des palmiers, selon le champ de chacune, et des guirlandes tout autour.
  
  37 Selon ce modèle il fit les dix bases : toutes d'une même fonte, d'une même mesure, d'une même forme.
  
  38 Et il fit dix cuves d'airain : une cuve contenait quarante baths ; une cuve était de quatre coudées ; chaque cuve était sur une base, pour les dix bases ;
  
  39 et il plaça les bases, cinq sur le côté droit de la maison, et cinq sur le côté gauche de la maison. Et il plaça la mer sur le côté droit de la maison, à l'orient, vers le midi.
  
  40 Et Hiram fit les cuves, et les pelles, et les bassins. Et Hiram acheva de faire tout l'ouvrage qu'il fit pour le roi Salomon, pour la maison de l'Éternel :
  
  41 deux colonnes, et les deux globes des chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes ; et les deux réseaux pour couvrir les deux globes des chapiteaux des chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes ;
  
  42 et les quatre cents grenades pour les deux réseaux, deux rangs de grenades à un réseau, pour couvrir les deux globes des chapiteaux qui étaient sur le sommet des colonnes ;
  
  43 et les dix bases, et les dix cuves sur les bases ;
  
  44 et la mer unique, et les douze boeufs sous la mer ;
  
  45 et les vases à cendre, et les pelles, et les bassins. Et tous ces objets, que Hiram fit pour le roi Salomon, pour la maison de l'Éternel, étaient d'airain poli.
  
  46 Le roi les fit fondre dans la plaine du Jourdain, dans l'épaisseur du sol, entre Succoth et Tsarthan.
  
  47 Et Salomon laissa tous les objets sans les peser, à cause de leur très-grand nombre, on ne rechercha pas le poids de l'airain
  
  48 Et Salomon fit tous les objets qui étaient dans la maison de l'Éternel : l'autel d'or ; et la table d'or, sur laquelle on mettait le pain de proposition ;
  
  49 et les chandeliers, d'or pur, cinq à droite, et cinq à gauche, devant l'oracle ; et les fleurs, et les lampes, et les pincettes, d'or ;
  
  50 et les écuelles, et les couteaux, et les bassins, et les coupes, et les brasiers, d'or pur ; et les gonds, d'or, pour les portes de la maison intérieure, pour le lieu très-saint, et pour les portes de la maison, pour le temple.
  
  51 Et tout l'ouvrage que le roi Salomon fit pour la maison de l'Éternel fut achevé. Et Salomon apporta les choses saintes de David, son père, l'argent, et l'or, et les ustensiles : il les mit dans les trésors de la maison de l'Éternel.
  
  Ezéchiel 37
  
  1 La main de l'Éternel fut sur moi, et l'Éternel me fit sortir en esprit, et me posa au milieu de la plaine ; et elle était remplie d'ossements ;
  
  2 et ils me fit passer auprès d'eux, tout autour ; et voici, ils étaient fort nombreux sur la face de la plaine ; et voici, ils étaient très-secs.
  
  3 Et il me dit : Fils d'homme, ces os revivront-ils ? Et je dis : Seigneur Éternel ! tu le sais.
  
  4 Et il me dit : Prophétise sur ces os, et dis-leur : Os secs, écoutez la parole de l'Éternel.
  
  5 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel, à ces os : Voici, je fais venir en vous le souffle, et vous vivrez.
  
  6 Et je mettrai sur vous des nerfs, et je ferai venir sur vous de la chair, et je vous recouvrirai de peau ; et je mettrai en vous le souffle, et vous vivrez ; et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel.
  
  7 Et je prophétisai selon qu'il m'avait été commandé ; et comme je prophétisais, il y eut un bruit, et voici, il se fit un mouvement, et les os se rapprochèrent, un os de son os.
  
  8 Et je vis, et voici, il vint sur eux des nerfs et de la chair, et de la peau les recouvrit par-dessus ; mais il n'y avait pas de souffle en eux.
  
  9 Et il me dit : Prophétise au souffle, prophétise, fils d'homme, et dis au souffle : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Esprit, viens des quatre vents, et souffle sur ces tués, et qu'ils vivent.
  
  10 Et je prophétisai selon qu'il m'avait commandé ; et le souffle entra en eux, et ils vécurent, et se tinrent sur leurs pieds, -une immense armée.
  
  11 Et il me dit : Fils d'homme, ces os sont toute la maison d'Israël. Voici, ils disent : Nos os sont desséchés, et notre attente a péri ; nous sommes retranchés !
  
  12 C'est pourquoi prophétise, et dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, j'ouvrirai vos sépulcres, et je vous ferai monter hors de vos sépulcres, mon peuple, et je vous amènerai dans la terre d'Israël.
  
  13 Et vous saurez que je suis l'Éternel, quand j'aurai ouvert vos sépulcres, et que je vous aurai fait monter hors de vos sépulcres, mon peuple.
  
  14 Et je mettrai mon Esprit en vous, et vous vivrez, et je vous placerai sur votre terre ; et vous saurez que c'est moi, l'Éternel, qui ai parlé et qui l'ai fait, dit l'Éternel.
  
  15 Et la parole de l'Éternel vint à moi, disant :
  
  16 Et toi, fils d'homme, prends un bois, et écris dessus : Pour Juda, et pour les fils d'Israël, ses compagnons. Et prends un autre bois, et écris dessus : Pour Joseph, le bois d'Éphraïm et de toute la maison d'Israël, ses compagnons.
  
  17 Et rapproche-les l'un de l'autre, pour qu'ils soient un seul bois, et ils ne seront qu'un dans ta main.
  
  18 Et quand les fils de ton peuple te parleront, disant : Ne nous déclareras-tu pas ce que signifient pour toi ces choses ?
  
  19 dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, je prendrai le bois de Joseph, qui est dans la main d'Éphraïm, et les tribus d'Israël, ses compagnons ; et je les mettrai sur celui-ci, savoir sur le bois de Juda, et je les ferai être un seul bois, et ils seront un dans ma main.
  
  20 Et les bois sur lesquels tu auras écrit seront dans ta main, sous leurs yeux.
  
  21 Et dis-leur : Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Voici, je prendrai les fils d'Israël d'entre les nations où ils sont allés, et je les rassemblerai de toutes parts, et je les ferai entrer dans leur terre ;
  
  22 et je les ferai être une seule nation dans le pays, sur les montagnes d'Israël : un seul roi sera leur roi à tous ; et ils ne seront plus deux nations, et ils ne seront plus divisés en deux royaumes.
  
  23 Et ils ne se rendront plus impurs par leurs idoles, et par leurs choses exécrables, et par toutes leurs transgressions ; et je les délivrerai de toutes leurs habitations où ils ont péché, et je les purifierai ; et ils seront mon peuple, et moi je serai leur Dieu.
  
  24 Et mon serviteur David sera roi sur eux, et il y aura un seul pasteur pour eux tous ; et ils marcheront dans mes ordonnances, et ils garderont mes statuts et les pratiqueront.
  
  25 Et il habiteront dans le pays que j'ai donné à mon serviteur Jacob, où vos pères ont habité ; et ils y habiteront, eux et leurs fils, et les fils de leurs fils, à toujours ; et David mon serviteur sera leur prince à toujours.
  
  26 Et je ferai avec eux une alliance de paix, ce sera, avec eux, une alliance éternelle ; et je les établirai, et je les multiplierai, et je mettrai mon sanctuaire au milieu d'eux pour toujours ;
  
  27 et ma demeure sera sur eux ; et je serai leur Dieu, et ils seront mon peuple.
  
  28 les nations sauront que moi je suis l'Éternel qui sanctifie Israël, quand mon sanctuaire sera au milieu d'eux à toujours.
  
  Ephésiens 4
  
  1 Je vous exhorte donc, moi, le prisonnier dans le Seigneur, à marcher d'une manière digne de l'appel dont vous avez été appelés,
  
  2 avec toute humilité et douceur, avec longanimité, vous supportant l'un l'autre dans l'amour ;
  
  3 vous appliquant à garder l'unité de l'Esprit par le lien de la paix.
  
  4 Il y a un seul corps et un seul Esprit, comme aussi vous avez été appelés pour une seule espérance de votre appel.
  
  5 Il y a un seul Seigneur, une seule foi, un seul baptême.
  
  6 Il y a un seul Dieu et Père de tous, qui est au-dessus de tout, et partout, et en nous tous.
  
  7 Mais à chacun de nous la grâce a été donnée selon la mesure du don de Christ.
  
  8 C'est pourquoi il dit : "Étant monté en haut, il a emmené captive la captivité, et a donné des dons aux hommes".
  
  9 Or, qu'il soit monté, qu'est-ce, sinon qu'il est aussi descendu dans les parties inférieures de la terre ?
  
  10 Celui qui est descendu est le même que celui qui est aussi monté au-dessus de tous les cieux, afin qu'il remplît toutes choses ;
  
  11 et lui, a donné les uns comme apôtres, les autres comme prophètes, les autres comme évangélistes, les autres comme pasteurs et docteurs ;
  
  12 en vue de la perfection des saints, pour l'oeuvre du service, pour l'édification du corps de Christ ;
  
  13 jusqu'à ce que nous parvenions tous à l'unité de la foi et de la connaissance du Fils de Dieu, à l'état d'homme fait, à la mesure de la stature de la plénitude du Christ :
  
  14 afin que nous ne soyons plus de petits enfants, ballottés et emportés çà et là par tout vent de doctrine dans la tromperie des hommes, dans leur habileté à user de voies détournées pour égarer ;
  
  15 mais que, étant vrais dans l'amour, nous croissions en toutes choses jusqu'à lui qui est le chef, le Christ ;
  
  16 duquel tout le corps, bien ajusté et lié ensemble par chaque jointure du fournissement, produit, selon l'opération de chaque partie dans sa mesure, l'accroissement du corps pour l'édification de lui-même en amour.
  
  17 Voici donc ce que je dis et témoigne dans le Seigneur, c'est que vous ne marchiez plus comme le reste des nations marche, dans la vanité de leurs pensées,
  
  18 leur entendement obscurci, étant étrangers à la vie de Dieu à cause de l'ignorance qui est en eux, à cause de l'endurcissement de leur coeur ;
  
  19 et qui, ayant perdu tout sentiment moral, se sont livrés à la débauche, pour pratiquer avidement toute impureté.
  
  20 Mais vous n'avez pas ainsi appris le Christ,
  
  21 si du moins vous l'avez entendu et avez été instruits en lui selon que la vérité est en Jésus :
  
  22 c'est-à-dire, pour ce qui est de la conversation précédente, d'avoir dépouillé le vieil homme qui se corrompt selon les convoitises trompeuses,
  
  23 et d'être renouvelés dans l'esprit de votre entendement,
  
  24 et d'avoir revêtu le nouvel homme, créé selon Dieu, en justice et sainteté de la vérité.
  
  25 C'est pourquoi, ayant dépouillé le mensonge, parlez la vérité chacun à son prochain ; car nous sommes membres les uns des autres.
  
  26 Mettez-vous en colère et ne péchez pas : que le soleil ne se couche pas sur votre irritation ;
  
  27 et ne donnez pas occasion au diable.
  
  28 Que celui qui dérobait ne dérobe plus, mais plutôt qu'il travaille en faisant de ses propres mains ce qui est bon, afin qu'il ait de quoi donner à celui qui est dans le besoin.
  
  29 Qu'aucune parole déshonnête ne sorte de votre bouche, mais celle-là qui est bonne, propre à l'édification selon le besoin, afin qu'elle communique la grâce à ceux qui l'entendent.
  
  30 Et n'attristez pas le Saint Esprit de Dieu, par lequel vous avez été scellés pour le jour de la rédemption.
  
  31 Que toute amertume, et tout courroux, et toute colère, et toute crierie, et toute injure, soient ôtés du milieu de vous, de même que toute malice ;
  
  32 mais soyez bons les uns envers les autres, compatissants, vous pardonnant les uns aux autres comme Dieu aussi, en Christ, vous a pardonné.

  1 Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.
  
  2 For he built the house of the forest of Lebanon; its length was one hundred cubits, and its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits, on four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams on the pillars.
  
  3 It was covered with cedar above over the forty-five beams, that were on the pillars; fifteen in a row.
  
  4 There were beams in three rows, and window was over against window in three ranks.
  
  5 All the doors and posts were made square with beams: and window was over against window in three ranks.
  
  6 He made the porch of pillars; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth thirty cubits; and a porch before them; and pillars and a threshold before them.
  
  7 He made the porch of the throne where he was to judge, even the porch of judgment: and it was covered with cedar from floor to floor.
  
  8 His house where he was to dwell, the other court within the porch, was of the like work. He made also a house for Pharaoh's daughter (whom Solomon had taken as wife), like this porch.
  
  9 All these were of costly stones, even of cut stone, according to measure, sawed with saws, inside and outside, even from the foundation to the coping, and so on the outside to the great court.
  
  10 The foundation was of costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
  
  11 Above were costly stones, even cut stone, according to measure, and cedar wood.
  
  12 The great court around had three courses of cut stone, and a course of cedar beams; like as the inner court of the house of Yahweh, and the porch of the house.
  
  13 King Solomon sent and fetched Hiram out of Tyre.
  
  14 He was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father was a man of Tyre, a worker in brass; and he was filled with wisdom and understanding and skill, to work all works in brass. He came to king Solomon, and performed all his work.
  
  15 For he fashioned the two pillars of brass, eighteen cubits high apiece: and a line of twelve cubits encircled either of them about.
  
  16 He made two capitals of molten brass, to set on the tops of the pillars: the height of the one capital was five cubits, and the height of the other capital was five cubits.
  
  17 There were nets of checker work, and wreaths of chain work, for the capitals which were on the top of the pillars; seven for the one capital, and seven for the other capital.
  
  18 So he made the pillars; and there were two rows around on the one network, to cover the capitals that were on the top of the pillars: and he did so for the other capital.
  
  19 The capitals that were on the top of the pillars in the porch were of lily work, four cubits.
  
  20 There were capitals above also on the two pillars, close by the belly which was beside the network: and the pomegranates were two hundred, in rows around on the other capital.
  
  21 He set up the pillars at the porch of the temple: and he set up the right pillar, and called its name Jachin; and he set up the left pillar, and called its name Boaz.
  
  22 On the top of the pillars was lily work: so was the work of the pillars finished.
  
  23 He made the molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass, and its height was five cubits; and a line of thirty cubits encircled it.
  
  24 Under its brim around there were buds which encircled it, for ten cubits, encircling the sea: the buds were in two rows, cast when it was cast.
  
  25 It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east; and the sea was set on them above, and all their hinder parts were inward.
  
  26 It was a handbreadth thick: and its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it held two thousand baths.
  
  27 He made the ten bases of brass; four cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits its breadth, and three cubits its height.
  
  28 The work of the bases was like this: they had panels; and there were panels between the ledges;
  
  29 and on the panels that were between the ledges were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the ledges there was a pedestal above; and beneath the lions and oxen were wreaths of hanging work.
  
  30 Every base had four bronze wheels, and axles of brass; and the four feet of it had supports: beneath the basin were the supports molten, with wreaths at the side of each.
  
  31 The mouth of it within the capital and above was a cubit: and its mouth was round after the work of a pedestal, a cubit and a half; and also on its mouth were engravings, and their panels were foursquare, not round.
  
  32 The four wheels were underneath the panels; and the axles of the wheels were in the base: and the height of a wheel was a cubit and half a cubit.
  
  33 The work of the wheels was like the work of a chariot wheel: their axles, and their rims, and their spokes, and their naves, were all molten.
  
  34 There were four supports at the four corners of each base: its supports were of the base itself.
  
  35 In the top of the base was there a round compass half a cubit high; and on the top of the base its stays and its panels were of the same.
  
  36 On the plates of its stays, and on its panels, he engraved cherubim, lions, and palm trees, according to the space of each, with wreaths all around.
  
  37 In this way, he made the ten bases: all of them had one casting, one measure, and one form.
  
  38 He made ten basins of brass: one basin contained forty baths; and every basin was four cubits; and on every one of the ten bases one basin.
  
  39 He set the bases, five on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and he set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.
  
  40 Hiram made the basins, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing all the work that he worked for king Solomon in the house of Yahweh:
  
  41 the two pillars, and the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars; and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars;
  
  42 and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars;
  
  43 and the ten bases, and the ten basins on the bases;
  
  44 and the one sea, and the twelve oxen under the sea;
  
  45 and the pots, and the shovels, and the basins: even all these vessels, which Hiram made for king Solomon, in the house of Yahweh, were of burnished brass.
  
  46 The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
  
  47 Solomon left all the vessels unweighed, because they were exceeding many: the weight of the brass could not be found out.
  
  48 Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of Yahweh: the golden altar, and the table whereupon the show bread was, of gold;
  
  49 and the lampstands, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, of pure gold; and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold;
  
  50 and the cups, and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold; and the hinges, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, of the temple, of gold.
  
  51 Thus all the work that king Solomon worked in the house of Yahweh was finished. Solomon brought in the things which David his father had dedicated, the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, and put them in the treasuries of the house of Yahweh.

  1 The hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.
  
  2 He caused me to pass by them all around: and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and behold, they were very dry.
  
  3 He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? I answered, Lord Yahweh, you know.
  
  4 Again he said to me, Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, you dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh.
  
  5 Thus says the Lord Yahweh to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.
  
  6 I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.
  
  7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, an earthquake; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.
  
  8 I saw, and, behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.
  
  9 Then he said to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.
  
  10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.
  
  11 Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.
  
  12 Therefore prophesy, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.
  
  13 You shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves, and caused you to come up out of your graves, my people.
  
  14 I will put my Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land: and you shall know that I, Yahweh, have spoken it and performed it, says Yahweh.
  
  15 The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,
  
  16 You, son of man, take one stick, and write on it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and [for] all the house of Israel his companions:
  
  17 and join them for you one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
  
  18 When the children of your people shall speak to you, saying, Will you not show us what you mean by these?
  
  19 tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, [even] with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.
  
  20 The sticks whereon you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
  
  21 Say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, where they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
  
  22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;
  
  23 neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
  
  24 My servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.
  
  25 They shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children's children, forever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.
  
  26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.
  
  27 My tent also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  
  28 The nations shall know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in their midst forevermore.

  1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
  
  2 with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love;
  
  3 being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
  
  4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling;
  
  5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
  
  6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in us all.
  
  7 But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
  
  8 Therefore he says, "When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts to men."
  
  9 Now this, "He ascended," what is it but that he also first descended into the lower parts of the earth?
  
  10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.
  
  11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
  
  12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ;
  
  13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;
  
  14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
  
  15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ;
  
  16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
  
  17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
  
  18 being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts;
  
  19 who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
  
  20 But you did not learn Christ that way;
  
  21 if indeed you heard him, and were taught in him, even as truth is in Jesus:
  
  22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit;
  
  23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
  
  24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
  
  25 Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.
  
  26 "Be angry, and don't sin." Don't let the sun go down on your wrath,
  
  27 neither give place to the devil.
  
  28 Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
  
  29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
  
  30 Don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
  
  31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.
  
  32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

  27 וַיַּ֧עַשׂ אֶת־הַמְּכֹנ֛וֹת עֶ֖שֶׂר נְחֹ֑שֶׁת אַרְבַּ֣ע בָּאַמָּ֗ה אֹ֚רֶךְ הַמְּכוֹנָ֣ה הָֽאֶחָ֔ת וְאַרְבַּ֤ע בָּֽאַמָּה֙ רָחְבָּ֔הּ וְשָׁלֹ֥שׁ בָּאַמָּ֖ה קוֹמָתָֽהּ׃
  
  28 וְזֶ֛ה מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה הַמְּכוֹנָ֖ה מִסְגְּרֹ֣ת לָהֶ֑ם וּמִסְגְּרֹ֖ת בֵּ֥ין הַשְׁלַבִּֽים׃
  
  29 וְעַֽל־הַמִּסְגְּר֞וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ בֵּ֣ין הַשְׁלַבִּ֗ים אֲרָי֤וֹת ׀ בָּקָר֙ וּכְרוּבִ֔ים וְעַל־הַשְׁלַבִּ֖ים כֵּ֣ן מִמָּ֑עַל וּמִתַּ֙חַת֙ לַאֲרָי֣וֹת וְלַבָּקָ֔ר לֹי֖וֹת מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה מוֹרָֽד׃
  
  30 וְאַרְבָּעָה֩ אוֹפַנֵּ֨י נְחֹ֜שֶׁת לַמְּכוֹנָ֤ה הָֽאַחַת֙ וְסַרְנֵ֣י נְחֹ֔שֶׁת וְאַרְבָּעָ֥ה פַעֲמֹתָ֖יו כְּתֵפֹ֣ת לָהֶ֑ם מִתַּ֤חַת לַכִּיֹּר֙ הַכְּתֵפֹ֣ת יְצֻק֔וֹת מֵעֵ֥בֶר אִ֖ישׁ לֹיֽוֹת׃
  
  31 וּ֠פִיהוּ מִבֵּ֨ית לַכֹּתֶ֤רֶת וָמַ֙עְלָה֙ בָּֽאַמָּ֔ה וּפִ֙יהָ֙ עָגֹ֣ל מַעֲשֵׂה־כֵ֔ן אַמָּ֖ה וַחֲצִ֣י הָֽאַמָּ֑ה וְגַם־עַל־פִּ֙יהָ֙ מִקְלָע֔וֹת וּמִסְגְּרֹתֵיהֶ֥ם מְרֻבָּע֖וֹת לֹ֥א עֲגֻלּֽוֹת׃
  
  32 וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת הָאֽוֹפַנִּ֗ים לְמִתַּ֙חַת֙ לַֽמִּסְגְּר֔וֹת וִיד֥וֹת הָאֽוֹפַנִּ֖ים בַּמְּכוֹנָ֑ה וְקוֹמַת֙ הָאוֹפַ֣ן הָאֶחָ֔ד אַמָּ֖ה וַחֲצִ֥י הָאַמָּֽה׃
  
  33 וּמַֽעֲשֵׂה֙ הָא֣וֹפַנִּ֔ים כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֖ה אוֹפַ֣ן הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֑ה יְדוֹתָ֣ם וְגַבֵּיהֶ֗ם וְחִשֻּׁקֵיהֶ֛ם וְחִשֻּׁרֵיהֶ֖ם הַכֹּ֥ל מוּצָֽק׃
  
  34 וְאַרְבַּ֣ע כְּתֵפ֔וֹת אֶ֚ל אַרְבַּ֣ע פִּנּ֔וֹת הַמְּכֹנָ֖ה הָֽאֶחָ֑ת מִן־הַמְּכֹנָ֖ה כְּתֵפֶֽיהָ׃
  
  35 וּבְרֹ֣אשׁ הַמְּכוֹנָ֗ה חֲצִ֧י הָאַמָּ֛ה קוֹמָ֖ה עָגֹ֣ל ׀ סָבִ֑יב וְעַ֨ל רֹ֤אשׁ הַמְּכֹנָה֙ יְדֹתֶ֔יהָ וּמִסְגְּרֹתֶ֖יהָ מִמֶּֽנָּה׃
  
  36 וַיְפַתַּ֤ח עַל־הַלֻּחֹת֙ יְדֹתֶ֔יהָ וְעַל֙ *ומסגרתיה **מִסְגְּרֹתֶ֔יהָ כְּרוּבִ֖ים אֲרָי֣וֹת וְתִמֹרֹ֑ת כְּמַֽעַר־אִ֥ישׁ וְלֹי֖וֹת סָבִֽיב׃
  
  37 כָּזֹ֣את עָשָׂ֔ה אֵ֖ת עֶ֣שֶׂר הַמְּכֹנ֑וֹת מוּצָ֨ק אֶחָ֜ד מִדָּ֥ה אַחַ֛ת קֶ֥צֶב אֶחָ֖ד לְכֻלָּֽהְנָה׃
  
  38 וַיַּ֛עַשׂ עֲשָׂרָ֥ה כִיֹּר֖וֹת נְחֹ֑שֶׁת אַרְבָּעִ֨ים בַּ֜ת יָכִ֣יל ׀ הַכִּיּ֣וֹר הָאֶחָ֗ד אַרְבַּ֤ע בָּֽאַמָּה֙ הַכִּיּ֣וֹר הָאֶחָ֔ד כִּיּ֤וֹר אֶחָד֙ עַל־הַמְּכוֹנָ֣ה הָאַחַ֔ת לְעֶ֖שֶׂר הַמְּכֹנֽוֹת׃
  
  39 וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶת־הַמְּכֹנ֔וֹת חָמֵ֞שׁ עַל־כֶּ֤תֶף הַבַּ֙יִת֙ מִיָּמִ֔ין וְחָמֵ֛שׁ עַל־כֶּ֥תֶף הַבַּ֖יִת מִשְּׂמֹאל֑וֹ וְאֶת־הַיָּ֗ם נָתַ֞ן מִכֶּ֨תֶף הַבַּ֧יִת הַיְמָנִ֛ית קֵ֖דְמָה מִמּ֥וּל נֶֽגֶב׃
  
  40 וַיַּ֣עַשׂ חִיר֔וֹם אֶת־הַ֨כִּיֹּר֔וֹת וְאֶת־הַיָּעִ֖ים וְאֶת־הַמִּזְרָק֑וֹת וַיְכַ֣ל חִירָ֗ם לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֛ה לַמֶּ֥לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃
  
  41 עַמֻּדִ֣ים שְׁנַ֔יִם וְגֻלֹּ֧ת הַכֹּתָרֹ֛ת אֲשֶׁר־עַל־רֹ֥אשׁ הָֽעַמֻּדִ֖ים שְׁתָּ֑יִם וְהַשְּׂבָכ֣וֹת שְׁתַּ֔יִם לְכַסּ֗וֹת אֶת־שְׁתֵּי֙ גֻּלֹּ֣ת הַכֹּֽתָרֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־רֹ֥אשׁ הָעַמּוּדִֽים׃
  
  42 וְאֶת־הָרִמֹּנִ֛ים אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת לִשְׁתֵּ֣י הַשְּׂבָכ֑וֹת שְׁנֵֽי־טוּרִ֤ים רִמֹּנִים֙ לַשְּׂבָכָ֣ה הָֽאֶחָ֔ת לְכַסּ֗וֹת אֶת־שְׁתֵּי֙ גֻּלֹּ֣ת הַכֹּֽתָרֹ֔ת אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָעַמּוּדִֽים׃
  
  43 וְאֶת־הַמְּכֹנ֖וֹת עָ֑שֶׂר וְאֶת־הַכִּיֹּרֹ֥ת עֲשָׂרָ֖ה עַל־הַמְּכֹנֽוֹת׃
  
  44 וְאֶת־הַיָּ֖ם הָאֶחָ֑ד וְאֶת־הַבָּקָ֥ר שְׁנֵים־עָשָׂ֖ר תַּ֥חַת הַיָּֽם׃
  
  45 וְאֶת־הַסִּיר֨וֹת וְאֶת־הַיָּעִ֜ים וְאֶת־הַמִּזְרָק֗וֹת וְאֵת֙ כָּל־הַכֵּלִ֣ים *האהל **הָאֵ֔לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֥ה חִירָ֛ם לַמֶּ֥לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה נְחֹ֖שֶׁת מְמֹרָֽט׃
  
  46 בְּכִכַּ֤ר הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ יְצָקָ֣ם הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ בְּמַעֲבֵ֖ה הָאֲדָמָ֑ה בֵּ֥ין סֻכּ֖וֹת וּבֵ֥ין צָרְתָֽן׃
  
  47 וַיַּנַּ֤ח שְׁלֹמֹה֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַכֵּלִ֔ים מֵרֹ֖ב מְאֹ֣ד מְאֹ֑ד לֹ֥א נֶחְקַ֖ר מִשְׁקַ֥ל הַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃
  
  48 וַיַּ֣עַשׂ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה אֵ֚ת כָּל־הַכֵּלִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה אֵ֚ת מִזְבַּ֣ח הַזָּהָ֔ב וְאֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֗ן אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָלָ֛יו לֶ֥חֶם הַפָּנִ֖ים זָהָֽב׃
  
  49 וְאֶת־הַ֠מְּנֹרוֹת חָמֵ֨שׁ מִיָּמִ֜ין וְחָמֵ֧שׁ מִשְּׂמֹ֛אול לִפְנֵ֥י הַדְּבִ֖יר זָהָ֣ב סָג֑וּר וְהַפֶּ֧רַח וְהַנֵּרֹ֛ת וְהַמֶּלְקַחַ֖יִם זָהָֽב׃
  
  50 וְ֠הַסִּפּוֹת וְהַֽמְזַמְּר֧וֹת וְהַמִּזְרָק֛וֹת וְהַכַּפּ֥וֹת וְהַמַּחְתּ֖וֹת זָהָ֣ב סָג֑וּר וְהַפֹּת֡וֹת לְדַלְתוֹת֩ הַבַּ֨יִת הַפְּנִימִ֜י לְקֹ֣דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים לְדַלְתֵ֥י הַבַּ֛יִת לַהֵיכָ֖ל זָהָֽב׃
  
  51 וַתִּשְׁלַם֙ כָּל־הַמְּלָאכָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָׂ֛ה הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה וַיָּבֵ֨א שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה אֶת־קָדְשֵׁ֣י ׀ דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֗יו אֶת־הַכֶּ֤סֶף וְאֶת־הַזָּהָב֙ וְאֶת־הַכֵּלִ֔ים נָתַ֕ן בְּאֹצְר֖וֹת בֵּ֥ית יְהוָֽה׃

  1 הָיְתָ֣ה עָלַי֮ יַד־יְהוָה֒ וַיּוֹצִאֵ֤נִי בְר֙וּחַ֙ יְהוָ֔ה וַיְנִיחֵ֖נִי בְּת֣וֹךְ הַבִּקְעָ֑ה וְהִ֖יא מְלֵאָ֥ה עֲצָמֽוֹת׃
  
  2 וְהֶעֱבִירַ֥נִי עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם סָבִ֣יב ׀ סָבִ֑יב וְהִנֵּ֨ה רַבּ֤וֹת מְאֹד֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַבִּקְעָ֔ה וְהִנֵּ֖ה יְבֵשׁ֥וֹת מְאֹֽד׃
  
  3 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הֲתִחְיֶ֖ינָה הָעֲצָמ֣וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה וָאֹמַ֕ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִ֖ה אַתָּ֥ה יָדָֽעְתָּ׃
  
  4 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י הִנָּבֵ֖א עַל־הָעֲצָמ֣וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם הָעֲצָמוֹת֙ הַיְבֵשׁ֔וֹת שִׁמְע֖וּ דְּבַר־יְהוָֽה׃
  
  5 כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה לָעֲצָמ֖וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה הִנֵּ֨ה אֲנִ֜י מֵבִ֥יא בָכֶ֛ם ר֖וּחַ וִחְיִיתֶֽם׃
  
  6 וְנָתַתִּי֩ עֲלֵיכֶ֨ם גִּדִ֜ים וְֽהַעֲלֵתִ֧י עֲלֵיכֶ֣ם בָּשָׂ֗ר וְקָרַמְתִּ֤י עֲלֵיכֶם֙ ע֔וֹר וְנָתַתִּ֥י בָכֶ֛ם ר֖וּחַ וִחְיִיתֶ֑ם וִידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃
  
  7 וְנִבֵּ֖אתִי כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צֻוֵּ֑יתִי וַֽיְהִי־ק֤וֹל כְּהִנָּֽבְאִי֙ וְהִנֵּה־רַ֔עַשׁ וַתִּקְרְב֣וּ עֲצָמ֔וֹת עֶ֖צֶם אֶל־עַצְמֽוֹ׃
  
  8 וְרָאִ֜יתִי וְהִנֵּֽה־עֲלֵיהֶ֤ם גִּדִים֙ וּבָשָׂ֣ר עָלָ֔ה וַיִּקְרַ֧ם עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם ע֖וֹר מִלְמָ֑עְלָה וְר֖וּחַ אֵ֥ין בָּהֶֽם׃
  
  9 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֔י הִנָּבֵ֖א אֶל־הָר֑וּחַ הִנָּבֵ֣א בֶן־אָ֠דָם וְאָמַרְתָּ֨ אֶל־הָר֜וּחַ כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה מֵאַרְבַּ֤ע רוּחוֹת֙ בֹּ֣אִי הָר֔וּחַ וּפְחִ֛י בַּהֲרוּגִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה וְיִֽחְיֽוּ׃
  
  10 וְהִנַּבֵּ֖אתִי כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוָּ֑נִי וַתָּבוֹא֩ בָהֶ֨ם הָר֜וּחַ וַיִּֽחְי֗וּ וַיַּֽעַמְדוּ֙ עַל־רַגְלֵיהֶ֔ם חַ֖יִל גָּד֥וֹל מְאֹד־מְאֹֽד׃
  
  11 וַיֹּאמֶר֮ אֵלַי֒ בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הָעֲצָמ֣וֹת הָאֵ֔לֶּה כָּל־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל הֵ֑מָּה הִנֵּ֣ה אֹמְרִ֗ים יָבְשׁ֧וּ עַצְמוֹתֵ֛ינוּ וְאָבְדָ֥ה תִקְוָתֵ֖נוּ נִגְזַ֥רְנוּ לָֽנוּ׃
  
  12 לָכֵן֩ הִנָּבֵ֨א וְאָמַרְתָּ֜ אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כֹּֽה־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ הִנֵּה֩ אֲנִ֨י פֹתֵ֜חַ אֶת־קִבְרֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם וְהַעֲלֵיתִ֥י אֶתְכֶ֛ם מִקִּבְרוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם עַמִּ֑י וְהֵבֵאתִ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם אֶל־אַדְמַ֥ת יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  13 וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בְּפִתְחִ֣י אֶת־קִבְרֽוֹתֵיכֶ֗ם וּבְהַעֲלוֹתִ֥י אֶתְכֶ֛ם מִקִּבְרוֹתֵיכֶ֖ם עַמִּֽי׃
  
  14 וְנָתַתִּ֨י רוּחִ֤י בָכֶם֙ וִחְיִיתֶ֔ם וְהִנַּחְתִּ֥י אֶתְכֶ֖ם עַל־אַדְמַתְכֶ֑ם וִידַעְתֶּ֞ם כִּי־אֲנִ֧י יְהוָ֛ה דִּבַּ֥רְתִּי וְעָשִׂ֖יתִי נְאֻם־יְהוָֽה׃

  16 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם קַח־לְךָ֙ עֵ֣ץ אֶחָ֔ד וּכְתֹ֤ב עָלָיו֙ לִֽיהוּדָ֔ה וְלִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל *חברו **חֲבֵרָ֑יו וּלְקַח֙ עֵ֣ץ אֶחָ֔ד וּכְת֣וֹב עָלָ֗יו לְיוֹסֵף֙ עֵ֣ץ אֶפְרַ֔יִם וְכָל־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל *חברו **חֲבֵרָֽיו׃
  
  17 וְקָרַ֨ב אֹתָ֜ם אֶחָ֧ד אֶל־אֶחָ֛ד לְךָ֖ לְעֵ֣ץ אֶחָ֑ד וְהָי֥וּ לַאֲחָדִ֖ים בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃
  
  18 וְכַֽאֲשֶׁר֙ יֹאמְר֣וּ אֵלֶ֔יךָ בְּנֵ֥י עַמְּךָ֖ לֵאמֹ֑ר הֲלֽוֹא־תַגִּ֥יד לָ֖נוּ מָה־אֵ֥לֶּה לָּֽךְ׃
  
  19 דַּבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם כֹּֽה־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ הִנֵּה֩ אֲנִ֨י לֹקֵ֜חַ אֶת־עֵ֤ץ יוֹסֵף֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּיַד־אֶפְרַ֔יִם וְשִׁבְטֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל *חברו **חֲבֵרָ֑יו וְנָתַתִּי֩ אוֹתָ֨ם עָלָ֜יו אֶת־עֵ֣ץ יְהוּדָ֗ה וַֽעֲשִׂיתִם֙ לְעֵ֣ץ אֶחָ֔ד וְהָי֥וּ אֶחָ֖ד בְּיָדִֽי׃
  
  20 וְהָי֨וּ הָעֵצִ֜ים אֲ‍ֽשֶׁר־תִּכְתֹּ֧ב עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם בְּיָדְךָ֖ לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃
  
  21 וְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כֹּֽה־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ הִנֵּ֨ה אֲנִ֤י לֹקֵ֙חַ֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִבֵּ֥ין הַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָֽלְכוּ־שָׁ֑ם וְקִבַּצְתִּ֤י אֹתָם֙ מִסָּבִ֔יב וְהֵבֵאתִ֥י אוֹתָ֖ם אֶל־אַדְמָתָֽם׃
  
  22 וְעָשִׂ֣יתִי אֹ֠תָם לְג֨וֹי אֶחָ֤ד בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ בְּהָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּמֶ֧לֶךְ אֶחָ֛ד יִֽהְיֶ֥ה לְכֻלָּ֖ם לְמֶ֑לֶךְ וְלֹ֤א *יהיה־**יִֽהְיוּ־עוֹד֙ לִשְׁנֵ֣י גוֹיִ֔ם וְלֹ֨א יֵחָ֥צוּ ע֛וֹד לִשְׁתֵּ֥י מַמְלָכ֖וֹת עֽוֹד׃
  
  23 וְלֹ֧א יִֽטַמְּא֣וּ ע֗וֹד בְּגִלּֽוּלֵיהֶם֙ וּבְשִׁקּ֣וּצֵיהֶ֔ם וּבְכֹ֖ל פִּשְׁעֵיהֶ֑ם וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּ֣י אֹתָ֗ם מִכֹּ֤ל מוֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטְא֣וּ בָהֶ֔ם וְטִהַרְתִּ֤י אוֹתָם֙ וְהָיוּ־לִ֣י לְעָ֔ם וַאֲנִ֕י אֶהְיֶ֥ה לָהֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִֽים׃
  
  24 וְעַבְדִּ֤י דָוִד֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וְרוֹעֶ֥ה אֶחָ֖ד יִהְיֶ֣ה לְכֻלָּ֑ם וּבְמִשְׁפָּטַ֣י יֵלֵ֔כוּ וְחֻקֹּתַ֥י יִשְׁמְר֖וּ וְעָשׂ֥וּ אוֹתָֽם׃
  
  25 וְיָשְׁב֣וּ עַל־הָאָ֗רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֤ר נָתַ֙תִּי֙ לְעַבְדִּ֣י לְיַֽעֲקֹ֔ב אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָֽשְׁבוּ־בָ֖הּ אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם וְיָשְׁב֣וּ עָלֶ֡יהָ הֵ֠מָּה וּבְנֵיהֶ֞ם וּבְנֵ֤י בְנֵיהֶם֙ עַד־עוֹלָ֔ם וְדָוִ֣ד עַבְדִּ֔י נָשִׂ֥יא לָהֶ֖ם לְעוֹלָֽם׃
  
  26 וְכָרַתִּ֤י לָהֶם֙ בְּרִ֣ית שָׁל֔וֹם בְּרִ֥ית עוֹלָ֖ם יִהְיֶ֣ה אוֹתָ֑ם וּנְתַתִּים֙ וְהִרְבֵּיתִ֣י אוֹתָ֔ם וְנָתַתִּ֧י אֶת־מִקְדָּשִׁ֛י בְּתוֹכָ֖ם לְעוֹלָֽם׃
  
  27 וְהָיָ֤ה מִשְׁכָּנִי֙ עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם וְהָיִ֥יתִי לָהֶ֖ם לֵֽאלֹהִ֑ים וְהֵ֖מָּה יִֽהְיוּ־לִ֥י לְעָֽם׃

  1 Παρακαλῶ οὖν ὑμᾶς ἐγὼ ὁ δέσμιος ἐν κυρίῳ ἀξίως περιπατῆσαι τῆς κλήσεως ἧς ἐκλήθητε,
  
  2 μετὰ πάσης ταπεινοφροσύνης καὶ πραΰτητος, μετὰ μακροθυμίας, ἀνεχόμενοι ἀλλήλων ἐν ἀγάπῃ,
  
  3 σπουδάζοντες τηρεῖν τὴν ἑνότητα τοῦ πνεύματος ἐν τῷ συνδέσμῳ τῆς εἰρήνης·
  
  4 ἓν σῶμα καὶ ἓν πνεῦμα, καθὼς καὶ ἐκλήθητε ἐν μιᾷ ἐλπίδι τῆς κλήσεως ὑμῶν·
  
  5 εἷς κύριος, μία πίστις, ἓν βάπτισμα·
  
  6 εἷς θεὸς καὶ πατὴρ πάντων, ὁ ἐπὶ πάντων καὶ διὰ πάντων καὶ ἐν πᾶσιν.
  
  7 Ἑνὶ δὲ ἑκάστῳ ἡμῶν ἐδόθη ἡ χάρις κατὰ τὸ μέτρον τῆς δωρεᾶς τοῦ Χριστοῦ.
  
  8 διὸ λέγει· Ἀναβὰς εἰς ὕψος ᾐχμαλώτευσεν αἰχμαλωσίαν, ἔδωκεν δόματα τοῖς ἀνθρώποις.
  
  9 τὸ δὲ Ἀνέβη τί ἐστιν εἰ μὴ ὅτι καὶ κατέβη εἰς τὰ κατώτερα μέρη τῆς γῆς;
  
  10 ὁ καταβὰς αὐτός ἐστιν καὶ ὁ ἀναβὰς ὑπεράνω πάντων τῶν οὐρανῶν, ἵνα πληρώσῃ τὰ πάντα.
  
  11 καὶ αὐτὸς ἔδωκεν τοὺς μὲν ἀποστόλους, τοὺς δὲ προφήτας, τοὺς δὲ εὐαγγελιστάς, τοὺς δὲ ποιμένας καὶ διδασκάλους,
  
  12 πρὸς τὸν καταρτισμὸν τῶν ἁγίων εἰς ἔργον διακονίας, εἰς οἰκοδομὴν τοῦ σώματος τοῦ Χριστοῦ,
  
  13 μέχρι καταντήσωμεν οἱ πάντες εἰς τὴν ἑνότητα τῆς πίστεως καὶ τῆς ἐπιγνώσεως τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ θεοῦ, εἰς ἄνδρα τέλειον, εἰς μέτρον ἡλικίας τοῦ πληρώματος τοῦ Χριστοῦ,
  
  14 ἵνα μηκέτι ὦμεν νήπιοι, κλυδωνιζόμενοι καὶ περιφερόμενοι παντὶ ἀνέμῳ τῆς διδασκαλίας ἐν τῇ κυβείᾳ τῶν ἀνθρώπων ἐν πανουργίᾳ πρὸς τὴν μεθοδείαν τῆς πλάνης,
  
  15 ἀληθεύοντες δὲ ἐν ἀγάπῃ αὐξήσωμεν εἰς αὐτὸν τὰ πάντα, ὅς ἐστιν ἡ κεφαλή, Χριστός,
  
  16 ἐξ οὗ πᾶν τὸ σῶμα συναρμολογούμενον καὶ συμβιβαζόμενον διὰ πάσης ἁφῆς τῆς ἐπιχορηγίας κατ’ ἐνέργειαν ἐν μέτρῳ ἑνὸς ἑκάστου μέρους τὴν αὔξησιν τοῦ σώματος ποιεῖται εἰς οἰκοδομὴν ἑαυτοῦ ἐν ἀγάπῃ.
  
  17 Τοῦτο οὖν λέγω καὶ μαρτύρομαι ἐν κυρίῳ, μηκέτι ὑμᾶς περιπατεῖν καθὼς καὶ τὰ ἔθνη περιπατεῖ ἐν ματαιότητι τοῦ νοὸς αὐτῶν,
  
  18 ἐσκοτωμένοι τῇ διανοίᾳ ὄντες, ἀπηλλοτριωμένοι τῆς ζωῆς τοῦ θεοῦ, διὰ τὴν ἄγνοιαν τὴν οὖσαν ἐν αὐτοῖς, διὰ τὴν πώρωσιν τῆς καρδίας αὐτῶν,
  
  19 οἵτινες ἀπηλγηκότες ἑαυτοὺς παρέδωκαν τῇ ἀσελγείᾳ εἰς ἐργασίαν ἀκαθαρσίας πάσης ἐν πλεονεξίᾳ.
  
  20 ὑμεῖς δὲ οὐχ οὕτως ἐμάθετε τὸν Χριστόν,
  
  21 εἴ γε αὐτὸν ἠκούσατε καὶ ἐν αὐτῷ ἐδιδάχθητε, καθώς ἐστιν ἀλήθεια ἐν τῷ Ἰησοῦ,
  
  22 ἀποθέσθαι ὑμᾶς κατὰ τὴν προτέραν ἀναστροφὴν τὸν παλαιὸν ἄνθρωπον τὸν φθειρόμενον κατὰ τὰς ἐπιθυμίας τῆς ἀπάτης,
  
  23 ἀνανεοῦσθαι δὲ τῷ πνεύματι τοῦ νοὸς ὑμῶν,
  
  24 καὶ ἐνδύσασθαι τὸν καινὸν ἄνθρωπον τὸν κατὰ θεὸν κτισθέντα ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ καὶ ὁσιότητι τῆς ἀληθείας.
  
  25 Διὸ ἀποθέμενοι τὸ ψεῦδος λαλεῖτε ἀλήθειαν ἕκαστος μετὰ τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἐσμὲν ἀλλήλων μέλη.
  
  26 ὀργίζεσθε καὶ μὴ ἁμαρτάνετε· ὁ ἥλιος μὴ ἐπιδυέτω ἐπὶ παροργισμῷ ὑμῶν,
  
  27 μηδὲ δίδοτε τόπον τῷ διαβόλῳ.
  
  28 ὁ κλέπτων μηκέτι κλεπτέτω, μᾶλλον δὲ κοπιάτω ἐργαζόμενος ταῖς ἰδίαις χερσὶν τὸ ἀγαθόν, ἵνα ἔχῃ μεταδιδόναι τῷ χρείαν ἔχοντι.
  
  29 πᾶς λόγος σαπρὸς ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν μὴ ἐκπορευέσθω, ἀλλὰ εἴ τις ἀγαθὸς πρὸς οἰκοδομὴν τῆς χρείας, ἵνα δῷ χάριν τοῖς ἀκούουσιν.
  
  30 καὶ μὴ λυπεῖτε τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον τοῦ θεοῦ, ἐν ᾧ ἐσφραγίσθητε εἰς ἡμέραν ἀπολυτρώσεως.
  
  31 πᾶσα πικρία καὶ θυμὸς καὶ ὀργὴ καὶ κραυγὴ καὶ βλασφημία ἀρθήτω ἀφ’ ὑμῶν σὺν πάσῃ κακίᾳ.
  
  32 γίνεσθε εἰς ἀλλήλους χρηστοί, εὔσπλαγχνοι, χαριζόμενοι ἑαυτοῖς καθὼς καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἐν Χριστῷ ἐχαρίσατο ὑμῖν.
