- 1 Rois 12
  
  1 Et Roboam alla à Sichem, car tout Israël était venu à Sichem pour le faire roi.
  
  2 Et quand Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, l'apprit (il était encore en Égypte, où il s'était enfui de devant le roi Salomon, et Jéroboam habitait l'Égypte ;
  
  3 et ils envoyèrent et l'appelèrent), il arriva que Jéroboam et toute la congrégation d'Israël vinrent et parlèrent à Roboam, disant :
  
  4 Ton père a rendu notre joug dur ; et toi, maintenant, allège le dur service de ton père et son joug pesant qu'il a mis sur nous, et nous te servirons.
  
  5 Et il leur dit : Allez-vous-en encore pour trois jours, et revenez vers moi. Et le peuple s'en alla.
  
  6 Et le roi Roboam tint conseil avec les vieillards qui s'étaient tenus devant Salomon, son père, lorsqu'il vivait, disant : Comment conseillez-vous de répondre à ce peuple ?
  
  7 Et ils lui parlèrent, disant : Si aujourd'hui tu deviens serviteur de ce peuple, et que tu les serves, et leur répondes, et leur dises de bonnes paroles, ils seront toujours tes serviteurs.
  
  8 Mais il laissa le conseil des vieillards, qu'ils lui avaient donné, et tint conseil avec les jeunes gens qui avaient grandi avec lui, qui se tenaient devant lui ;
  
  9 et il leur dit : Que conseillez-vous que nous répondions à ce peuple, qui m'a parlé, disant : Allège le joug que ton père a mis sur nous ?
  
  10 Et les jeunes gens qui avaient grandi avec lui, lui parlèrent, disant : Tu diras ainsi à ce peuple qui t'a parlé, disant : Ton père a rendu pesant notre joug ; toi, allège-le de dessus nous ; -tu leur diras ainsi : Mon petit doigt est plus gros que les reins de mon père ;
  
  11 et maintenant, mon père a chargé sur vous un joug pesant, et moi j'ajouterai à votre joug ; mon père vous a corrigés avec des fouets, et moi je vous corrigerai avec des scorpions.
  
  12 Et Jéroboam et tout le peuple vinrent vers Roboam le troisième jour, comme le roi avait dit, en disant : Revenez vers moi le troisième jour.
  
  13 Et le roi répondit au peuple avec dureté, et laissa le conseil que les vieillards lui avaient donné ;
  
  14 Et il leur parla selon le conseil des jeunes gens, disant : Mon père a rendu pesant votre joug, et moi j'ajouterai à votre joug ; mon père vous a corrigés avec des fouets, et moi je vous corrigerai avec des scorpions.
  
  15 Et le roi n'écouta pas le peuple, car cela était amené par l'Éternel, afin d'accomplir sa parole, que l'Éternel avait dite par Akhija, le Silonite, à Jéroboam, fils de Nebath.
  
  16 Et tout Israël vit que le roi ne les avait pas écoutés. Et le peuple répondit au roi, disant : Quelle part avons-nous en David ? Et nous n'avons pas d'héritage dans le fils d'Isaï. A tes tentes, Israël ! Maintenant, David, regarde à ta maison ! Et Israël s'en alla à ses tentes.
  
  17 Mais quant aux fils d'Israël qui habitaient dans les villes de Juda, Roboam régna sur eux.
  
  18 Et le roi Roboam envoya Adoram, qui était préposé sur les levées ; et tout Israël le lapida avec des pierres, et il mourut. Et le roi Roboam se hâta de monter sur un char pour s'enfuir à Jérusalem.
  
  19 Et Israël se rebella contre la maison de David, jusqu'à ce jour.
  
  20 Et il arriva que, quand tout Israël apprit que Jéroboam était de retour, ils envoyèrent et l'appelèrent à l'assemblée, et l'établirent roi sur tout Israël. Il n'y eut que la tribu de Juda seule qui suivit la maison de David.
  
  21 Et Roboam s'en alla à Jérusalem. Et il assembla toute la maison de Juda, et la tribu de Benjamin, cent quatre-vingt mille hommes d'élite propres à la guerre, pour faire la guerre à la maison d'Israël, afin de ramener le royaume à Roboam, fils de Salomon.
  
  22 Et la parole de Dieu vint à Shemahia, homme de Dieu, disant :
  
  23 Parle à Roboam, fils de Salomon, roi de Juda, et à toute la maison de Juda et de Benjamin, et au reste du peuple, disant :
  
  24 Ainsi dit l'Éternel : Ne montez pas, et ne faites pas la guerre à vos frères, les fils d'Israël ; retournez chacun à sa maison, car c'est de par moi que cette chose a eu lieu. Et ils écoutèrent la parole de l'Éternel, et s'en retournèrent pour s'en aller, selon la parole de l'Éternel.
  
  25 Et Jéroboam bâtit Sichem dans la montagne d'Éphraïm, et y habita ; et il sortit de là, et bâtit Penuel.
  
  26 Et Jéroboam dit en son coeur : Maintenant le royaume retournera à la maison de David.
  
  27 Si ce peuple monte pour offrir des sacrifices dans la maison de l'Éternel à Jérusalem, le coeur de ce peuple retournera à son seigneur, à Roboam, roi de Juda, et ils me tueront, et ils retourneront à Roboam, roi de Juda.
  
  28 Et le roi prit conseil, et fit deux veaux d'or, et dit au peuple : C'est trop pour vous de monter à Jérusalem ; voici tes dieux, Israël ! qui t'ont fait monter du pays d'Égypte.
  
  29 Et il en mit un à Béthel, et l'autre il le plaça à Dan.
  
  30 Et cela devint un péché, et le peuple alla devant l'un des veaux jusqu'à Dan.
  
  31 Et il fit une maison de hauts lieux, et établit des sacrificateurs d'entre toutes les classes du peuple, lesquels n'étaient pas des fils de Lévi.
  
  32 Et Jéroboam établit une fête au huitième mois, le quinzième jour du mois, comme la fête qui avait lieu en Juda ; et il offrit sur l'autel. Il fit ainsi à Béthel, sacrifiant aux veaux qu'il avait faits, et il plaça à Béthel les sacrificateurs des hauts lieux qu'il avait établis.
  
  33 Et il offrit sur l'autel qu'il avait fait à Béthel, le quinzième jour du huitième mois, le mois qu'il avait imaginé dans son propre coeur ; et il fit une fête pour les fils d'Israël, et offrit sur l'autel, faisant fumer l'encens.
  
  Ezéchiel 42
  
  1 Et il me fit sortir dans le parvis extérieur par le chemin qui va vers le nord ; et il m'amena aux cellules qui étaient vis-à-vis de la place séparée, et qui étaient vis-à-vis du bâtiment, vers le nord,
  
  2 en face de la longueur, qui était de cent coudées : l'entrée était au nord ; et la largeur était de cinquante coudées,
  
  3 vis-à-vis des vingt coudées qu'avait le parvis intérieur, et vis-à-vis du pavement qui était au parvis extérieur ; il y avait galerie contre galerie, au troisième étage ;
  
  4 et devant les cellules, un passage de dix coudées de largeur ; vers l'intérieur, un chemin de cent coudées ; et leurs entrées étaient au nord.
  
  5 Et les cellules supérieures étaient raccourcies (parce que les galeries en ôtaient une portion) en comparaison des inférieures et de celles du milieu du bâtiment.
  
  6 Car elles étaient à trois étages, et n'avaient pas de colonnes comme les colonnes des parvis ; c'est pourquoi le troisième étage était en retraite, en comparaison des cellules inférieures et de celles du milieu, depuis le sol.
  
  7 Et le mur qui était en dehors, le long des cellules, du côté du parvis extérieur, en face des cellules, avait une longueur de cinquante coudées.
  
  8 Car la longueur des cellules qui aboutissaient au parvis extérieur était de cinquante coudées ; mais voici, en face du temple, elle était de cent coudées ;
  
  9 et, au-dessous de ces cellules, l'entrée était du côté de l'orient, lorsqu'on y arrivait du parvis extérieur.
  
  10 Dans la largeur du mur du parvis, du côté du midi, vis-à-vis de la place séparée et vis-à-vis du bâtiment,
  
  11 il y avait des cellules, et un passage devant elles, selon la forme des cellules qui étaient du côté du nord, selon leur longueur, selon leur largeur, et selon toutes leurs issues, et selon leurs ordonnances, et selon leurs portes d'entrée.
  
  12 Et selon les entrées des cellules qui étaient du côté du midi, il y avait une entrée à la tête du chemin, du chemin qui était en face du mur correspondant, chemin venant de l'orient, quand on venait vers les cellules.
  
  13 Et il me dit : Les cellules du nord et les cellules du midi, qui sont en face de la place séparée, ce sont des cellules saintes où les sacrificateurs qui s'approchent de l'Éternel mangeront les choses très-saintes ; ils déposeront là les choses très-saintes : l'offrande de gâteau, et le sacrifice pour le péché, et le sacrifice pour le délit, car le lieu est saint.
  
  14 Quand les sacrificateurs seront entrés, ils ne sortiront pas du lieu saint dans le parvis extérieur ; mais ils déposeront là leurs vêtements dans lesquels ils font le service, car ils sont saints ; et ils revêtiront d'autres vêtements, et s'approcheront de ce qui est pour le peuple.
  
  15 Et quand il eut achevé de mesurer la maison intérieure, il me fit sortir par le chemin de la porte qui regardait vers l'orient ;
  
  16 et il mesura l'enceinte tout autour. Il mesura le côté oriental avec la canne à mesurer : cinq cents cannes, avec la canne à mesurer, tout autour.
  
  17 Il mesura le côté septentrional : cinq cents cannes, avec la canne à mesurer, tout autour.
  
  18 Il mesura le côté méridional : cinq cents cannes, avec la canne à mesurer.
  
  19 Il se tourna vers le côté occidental, et mesura cinq cents cannes avec la canne à mesurer.
  
  20 Il la mesura des quatre côtés. Elle avait un mur tout à l'entour : la longueur, cinq cents, et la largeur, cinq cents, pour séparer ce qui est saint et ce qui était profane.
  
  Philippiens 3
  
  1 Au reste, mes frères, réjouissez-vous dans le Seigneur : vous écrire les mêmes choses n'est pas pénible pour moi, et c'est votre sûreté.
  
  2 Prenez garde aux chiens, prenez garde aux mauvais ouvriers, prenez garde à la concision ;
  
  3 car nous sommes la circoncision, nous qui rendons culte par l'Esprit de Dieu, et qui nous glorifions dans le Christ Jésus, et qui n'avons pas confiance en la chair :
  
  4 bien que moi, j'aie de quoi avoir confiance même dans la chair. Si quelque autre s'imagine pouvoir se confier en la chair, moi davantage :
  
  5 moi circoncis le huitième jour, de la race d'Israël, de la tribu de Benjamin, Hébreu des Hébreux : quant à la loi, pharisien ;
  
  6 quant au zèle, persécutant l'assemblée : quant à la justice qui est par la loi, étant sans reproche.
  
  7 Mais les choses qui pour moi étaient un gain, je les ai regardées, à cause du Christ, comme une perte.
  
  8 Et je regarde même aussi toutes choses comme étant une perte, à cause de l'excellence de la connaissance du Christ Jésus, mon Seigneur, à cause duquel j'ai fait la perte de toutes et je les estime comme des ordures, afin que je gagne Christ
  
  9 et que je sois trouvé en lui n'ayant pas ma justice qui est de la loi, mais celle qui est par la foi en Christ, la justice qui est de Dieu, moyennant la foi ;
  
  10 pour le connaître, lui, et la puissance de sa résurrection, et la communion de ses souffrances, étant rendu conforme à sa mort,
  
  11 si en quelque manière que ce soit je puis parvenir à la résurrection d'entre les morts.
  
  12 Non que j'aie déjà reçu le prix ou que je sois déjà parvenu à la perfection ; mais je poursuis, cherchant à le saisir, vu aussi que j'ai été saisi par le Christ.
  
  13 Frères, pour moi, je ne pense pas moi-même l'avoir saisi ;
  
  14 mais je fais une chose : oubliant les choses qui sont derrière et tendant avec effort vers celles qui sont devant, je cours droit au but pour le prix de l'appel céleste de Dieu dans le Christ Jésus.
  
  15 Nous tous donc qui sommes parfaits, ayons ce sentiment ; et si en quelque chose vous avez un autre sentiment, cela aussi Dieu vous le révélera,
  
  16 cependant, dans les choses auxquelles nous sommes parvenus, marchons dans le même sentier.
  
  17 Soyez tous ensemble mes imitateurs, frères, et portez vos regards sur ceux qui marchent ainsi suivant le modèle que vous avez en nous.
  
  18 Car plusieurs marchent, dont je vous ai dit souvent et dont maintenant je le dis même en pleurant, qu'ils sont ennemis de la croix du Christ,
  
  19 dont la fin est la perdition, dont le dieu est le ventre et dont la gloire est dans leur honte, qui ont leurs pensées aux choses terrestres.
  
  20 Car notre bourgeoisie est dans les cieux, d'où aussi nous attendons le Seigneur Jésus Christ comme Sauveur,
  
  21 qui transformera le corps de notre abaissement en la conformité du corps de sa gloire, selon l'opération de ce pouvoir qu'il a de s'assujettir même toutes choses.

  1 Rehoboam went to Shechem: for all Israel had come to Shechem to make him king.
  
  2 It happened, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat heard of it (for he was yet in Egypt, where he had fled from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam lived in Egypt,
  
  3 and they sent and called him), that Jeroboam and all the assembly of Israel came, and spoke to Rehoboam, saying,
  
  4 "Your father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make you the grievous service of your father, and his heavy yoke which he put on us, lighter, and we will serve you."
  
  5 He said to them, "Depart for three days, then come back to me." The people departed.
  
  6 King Rehoboam took counsel with the old men, who had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, "What counsel do you give me to return answer to this people?"
  
  7 They spoke to him, saying, "If you will be a servant to this people this day, and will serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be your servants forever."
  
  8 But he forsook the counsel of the old men which they had given him, and took counsel with the young men who had grown up with him, who stood before him.
  
  9 He said to them, "What counsel do you give, that we may return answer to this people, who have spoken to me, saying, 'Make the yoke that your father put on us lighter?'"
  
  10 The young men who had grown up with him spoke to him, saying, "Thus you shall tell this people who spoke to you, saying, 'Your father made our yoke heavy, but make it lighter to us;' you shall say to them, 'My little finger is thicker than my father's waist.
  
  11 Now whereas my father burdened you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.'"
  
  12 So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king asked, saying, "Come to me again the third day."
  
  13 The king answered the people roughly, and forsook the counsel of the old men which they had given him,
  
  14 and spoke to them according to the counsel of the young men, saying, "My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add to your yoke. My father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions."
  
  15 So the king didn't listen to the people; for it was a thing brought about of Yahweh, that he might establish his word, which Yahweh spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
  
  16 When all Israel saw that the king didn't listen to them, the people answered the king, saying, "What portion have we in David? Neither do we have an inheritance in the son of Jesse. To your tents, Israel! Now see to your own house, David." So Israel departed to their tents.
  
  17 But as for the children of Israel who lived in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.
  
  18 Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the men subject to forced labor; and all Israel stoned him to death with stones. King Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
  
  19 So Israel rebelled against the house of David to this day.
  
  20 It happened, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was returned, that they sent and called him to the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none who followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.
  
  21 When Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, and the tribe of Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand chosen men, who were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.
  
  22 But the word of God came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
  
  23 "Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the rest of the people, saying,
  
  24 'Thus says Yahweh, "You shall not go up, nor fight against your brothers, the children of Israel. Everyone return to his house; for this thing is of me."'" So they listened to the word of Yahweh, and returned and went their way, according to the word of Yahweh.
  
  25 Then Jeroboam built Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and lived in it; and he went out from there, and built Penuel.
  
  26 Jeroboam said in his heart, "Now the kingdom will return to the house of David.
  
  27 If this people goes up to offer sacrifices in the house of Yahweh at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people will turn again to their lord, even to Rehoboam king of Judah; and they will kill me, and return to Rehoboam king of Judah."
  
  28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold; and he said to them, "It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem. Look and see your gods, Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt!"
  
  29 He set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.
  
  30 This thing became a sin; for the people went to worship before the one, even to Dan.
  
  31 He made houses of high places, and made priests from among all the people, who were not of the sons of Levi.
  
  32 Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast that is in Judah, and he went up to the altar; he did so in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places that he had made.
  
  33 He went up to the altar which he had made in Bethel on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart: and he ordained a feast for the children of Israel, and went up to the altar, to burn incense.
  
  Ezéchiel 42
  
  1 Then he brought me forth into the outer court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the room that was over against the separate place, and which was over against the building toward the north.
  
  2 Before the length of one hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.
  
  3 Over against the twenty [cubits] which belonged to the inner court, and over against the pavement which belonged to the outer court, was gallery against gallery in the third story.
  
  4 Before the rooms was a walk of ten cubits' breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors were toward the north.
  
  5 Now the upper rooms were shorter; for the galleries took away from these, more than from the lower and the middle, in the building.
  
  6 For they were in three stories, and they didn't have pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore [the uppermost] was straitened more than the lowest and the middle from the ground.
  
  7 The wall that was outside by the side of the rooms, toward the outer court before the rooms, its length was fifty cubits.
  
  8 For the length of the rooms that were in the outer court was fifty cubits: and behold, before the temple were one hundred cubits.
  
  9 From under these rooms was the entry on the east side, as one goes into them from the outer court.
  
  10 In the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, before the separate place, and before the building, there were rooms.
  
  11 The way before them was like the appearance of [the way of] the rooms which were toward the north; according to their length so was their breadth: and all their exits were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.
  
  12 According to the doors of the rooms that were toward the south was a door at the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one enters into them.
  
  13 Then he said to me, The north rooms and the south rooms, which are before the separate place, they are the holy rooms, where the priests who are near to Yahweh shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meal offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
  
  14 When the priests enter in, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the outer court, but there they shall lay their garments in which they minister; for they are holy: and they shall put on other garments, and shall approach to that which pertains to the people.
  
  15 Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it all around.
  
  16 He measured on the east side with the measuring reed five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed all around.
  
  17 He measured on the north side five hundred reeds with the measuring reed all around.
  
  18 He measured on the south side five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
  
  19 He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
  
  20 He measured it on the four sides: it had a wall around it, the length five hundred, and the breadth five hundred, to make a separation between that which was holy and that which was common.
  
  Philippiens 3
  
  1 Finally, my brothers, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not tiresome, but for you it is safe.
  
  2 Beware of the dogs, beware of the evil workers, beware of the false circumcision.
  
  3 For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh;
  
  4 though I myself might have confidence even in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has confidence in the flesh, I yet more:
  
  5 circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; concerning the law, a Pharisee;
  
  6 concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.
  
  7 However, what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.
  
  8 Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ
  
  9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own, that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;
  
  10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed to his death;
  
  11 if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
  
  12 Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect; but I press on, if it is so that I may take hold of that for which also I was taken hold of by Christ Jesus.
  
  13 Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,
  
  14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
  
  15 Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, think this way. If in anything you think otherwise, God will also reveal that to you.
  
  16 Nevertheless, to the extent that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule. Let us be of the same mind.
  
  17 Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.
  
  18 For many walk, of whom I told you often, and now tell you even weeping, as the enemies of the cross of Christ,
  
  19 whose end is destruction, whose god is the belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who think about earthly things.
  
  20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ;
  
  21 who will change the body of our humiliation to be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working by which he is able even to subject all things to himself.

  5 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם לְכ֥וּ עֹ֛ד שְׁלֹשָׁ֥ה יָמִ֖ים וְשׁ֣וּבוּ אֵלָ֑י וַיֵּלְכ֖וּ הָעָֽם׃
  
  6 וַיִּוָּעַ֞ץ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֗ם אֶת־הַזְּקֵנִים֙ אֲשֶׁר־הָי֣וּ עֹמְדִ֗ים אֶת־פְּנֵי֙ שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה אָבִ֔יו בִּֽהְיֹת֥וֹ חַ֖י לֵאמֹ֑ר אֵ֚יךְ אַתֶּ֣ם נֽוֹעָצִ֔ים לְהָשִׁ֥יב אֶת־הָֽעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה דָּבָֽר׃
  
  7 *וידבר **וַיְדַבְּר֨וּ אֵלָ֜יו לֵאמֹ֗ר אִם־הַ֠יּוֹם תִּֽהְיֶה־עֶ֜בֶד לָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ וַֽעֲבַדְתָּ֔ם וַעֲנִיתָ֕ם וְדִבַּרְתָּ֥ אֲלֵיהֶ֖ם דְּבָרִ֣ים טוֹבִ֑ים וְהָי֥וּ לְךָ֛ עֲבָדִ֖ים כָּל־הַיָּמִֽים׃
  
  8 וַֽיַּעֲזֹ֛ב אֶת־עֲצַ֥ת הַזְּקֵנִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְעָצֻ֑הוּ וַיִּוָּעַ֗ץ אֶת־הַיְלָדִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר גָּדְל֣וּ אִתּ֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָעֹמְדִ֖ים לְפָנָֽיו׃
  
  9 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם מָ֚ה אַתֶּ֣ם נֽוֹעָצִ֔ים וְנָשִׁ֥יב דָּבָ֖ר אֶת־הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבְּר֤וּ אֵלַי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הָקֵל֙ מִן־הָעֹ֔ל אֲשֶׁר־נָתַ֥ן אָבִ֖יךָ עָלֵֽינוּ׃
  
  10 וַיְדַבְּר֣וּ אֵלָ֗יו הַיְלָדִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֨ר גָּדְל֣וּ אִתּוֹ֮ לֵאמֹר֒ כֹּֽה־תֹאמַ֣ר לָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֡ה אֲשֶׁר֩ דִּבְּר֨וּ אֵלֶ֜יךָ לֵאמֹ֗ר אָבִ֙יךָ֙ הִכְבִּ֣יד אֶת־עֻלֵּ֔נוּ וְאַתָּ֖ה הָקֵ֣ל מֵעָלֵ֑ינוּ כֹּ֚ה תְּדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם קָֽטָנִּ֥י עָבָ֖ה מִמָּתְנֵ֥י אָבִֽי׃
  
  11 וְעַתָּ֗ה אָבִי֙ הֶעְמִ֤יס עֲלֵיכֶם֙ עֹ֣ל כָּבֵ֔ד וַאֲנִ֖י אוֹסִ֣יף עַֽל־עֻלְּכֶ֑ם אָבִ֗י יִסַּ֤ר אֶתְכֶם֙ בַּשּׁוֹטִ֔ים וַאֲנִ֕י אֲיַסֵּ֥ר אֶתְכֶ֖ם בָּעַקְרַבִּֽים׃
  
  12 *ויבו **וַיָּב֨וֹא יָרָבְעָ֧ם וְכָל־הָעָ֛ם אֶל־רְחַבְעָ֖ם בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר שׁ֥וּבוּ אֵלַ֖י בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִֽׁי׃
  
  13 וַיַּ֧עַן הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אֶת־הָעָ֖ם קָשָׁ֑ה וַֽיַּעֲזֹ֛ב אֶת־עֲצַ֥ת הַזְּקֵנִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְעָצֻֽהוּ׃
  
  14 וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֗ם כַּעֲצַ֤ת הַיְלָדִים֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר אָבִי֙ הִכְבִּ֣יד אֶֽת־עֻלְּכֶ֔ם וַאֲנִ֖י אֹסִ֣יף עַֽל־עֻלְּכֶ֑ם אָבִ֗י יִסַּ֤ר אֶתְכֶם֙ בַּשּׁוֹטִ֔ים וַאֲנִ֕י אֲיַסֵּ֥ר אֶתְכֶ֖ם בָּעַקְרַבִּֽים׃
  
  15 וְלֹֽא־שָׁמַ֥ע הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶל־הָעָ֑ם כִּֽי־הָיְתָ֤ה סִבָּה֙ מֵעִ֣ם יְהוָ֔ה לְמַ֜עַן הָקִ֣ים אֶת־דְּבָר֗וֹ אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר יְהוָה֙ בְּיַד֙ אֲחִיָּ֣ה הַשִּׁילֹנִ֔י אֶל־יָרָבְעָ֖ם בֶּן־נְבָֽט׃
  
  16 וַיַּ֣רְא כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כִּ֠י לֹֽא־שָׁמַ֣ע הַמֶּלֶךְ֮ אֲלֵיהֶם֒ וַיָּשִׁ֣בוּ הָעָ֣ם אֶת־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּבָ֣ר ׀ לֵאמֹ֡ר מַה־לָּנוּ֩ חֵ֨לֶק בְּדָוִ֜ד וְלֹֽא־נַחֲלָ֣ה בְּבֶן־יִשַׁ֗י לְאֹהָלֶ֙יךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַתָּ֕ה רְאֵ֥ה בֵיתְךָ֖ דָּוִ֑ד וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְאֹהָלָֽיו׃
  
  17 וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַיֹּשְׁבִ֖ים בְּעָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם רְחַבְעָֽם׃
  
  18 וַיִּשְׁלַ֞ח הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֗ם אֶת־אֲדֹרָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל־הַמַּ֔ס וַיִּרְגְּמ֨וּ כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל בּ֛וֹ אֶ֖בֶן וַיָּמֹ֑ת וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ רְחַבְעָ֗ם הִתְאַמֵּץ֙ לַעֲל֣וֹת בַּמֶּרְכָּבָ֔ה לָנ֖וּס יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
  
  19 וַיִּפְשְׁע֤וּ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּבֵ֣ית דָּוִ֔ד עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃
  
  20 וַיְהִ֞י כִּשְׁמֹ֤עַ כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ כִּֽי־שָׁ֣ב יָרָבְעָ֔ם וַֽיִּשְׁלְח֗וּ וַיִּקְרְא֤וּ אֹתוֹ֙ אֶל־הָ֣עֵדָ֔ה וַיַּמְלִ֥יכוּ אֹת֖וֹ עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל לֹ֤א הָיָה֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י בֵית־דָּוִ֔ד זוּלָתִ֥י שֵֽׁבֶט־יְהוּדָ֖ה לְבַדּֽוֹ׃
  
  21 *ויבאו **וַיָּבֹ֣א רְחַבְעָם֮ יְרוּשָׁלִַם֒ וַיַּקְהֵל֩ אֶת־כָּל־בֵּ֨ית יְהוּדָ֜ה וְאֶת־שֵׁ֣בֶט בִּנְיָמִ֗ן מֵאָ֨ה וּשְׁמֹנִ֥ים אֶ֛לֶף בָּח֖וּר עֹשֵׂ֣ה מִלְחָמָ֑ה לְהִלָּחֵם֙ עִם־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְהָשִׁיב֙ אֶת־הַמְּלוּכָ֔ה לִרְחַבְעָ֖ם בֶּן־שְׁלֹמֹֽה׃
  
  22 וַיְהִי֙ דְּבַ֣ר הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים אֶל־שְׁמַעְיָ֥ה אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים לֵאמֹֽר׃
  
  23 אֱמֹ֗ר אֶל־רְחַבְעָ֤ם בֶּן־שְׁלֹמֹה֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאֶל־כָּל־בֵּ֥ית יְהוּדָ֖ה וּבִנְיָמִ֑ין וְיֶ֥תֶר הָעָ֖ם לֵאמֹֽר׃
  
  24 כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֡ה לֹֽא־תַעֲלוּ֩ וְלֹא־תִלָּ֨חֲמ֜וּן עִם־אֲחֵיכֶ֣ם בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל שׁ֚וּבוּ אִ֣ישׁ לְבֵית֔וֹ כִּ֧י מֵאִתִּ֛י נִהְיָ֖ה הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַיִּשְׁמְעוּ֙ אֶת־דְּבַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה וַיָּשֻׁ֥בוּ לָלֶ֖כֶת כִּדְבַ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃
  
  25 וַיִּ֨בֶן יָרָבְעָ֧ם אֶת־שְׁכֶ֛ם בְּהַ֥ר אֶפְרַ֖יִם וַיֵּ֣שֶׁב בָּ֑הּ וַיֵּצֵ֣א מִשָּׁ֔ם וַיִּ֖בֶן אֶת־פְּנוּאֵֽל׃
  
  26 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יָרָבְעָ֖ם בְּלִבּ֑וֹ עַתָּ֛ה תָּשׁ֥וּב הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה לְבֵ֥ית דָּוִֽד׃
  
  27 אִֽם־יַעֲלֶ֣ה ׀ הָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֗ה לַעֲשׂ֨וֹת זְבָחִ֤ים בְּבֵית־יְהוָה֙ בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם וְ֠שָׁב לֵ֣ב הָעָ֤ם הַזֶּה֙ אֶל־אֲדֹ֣נֵיהֶ֔ם אֶל־רְחַבְעָ֖ם מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה וַהֲרָגֻ֕נִי וְשָׁ֖בוּ אֶל־רְחַבְעָ֥ם מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָֽה׃
  
  28 וַיִּוָּעַ֣ץ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיַּ֕עַשׂ שְׁנֵ֖י עֶגְלֵ֣י זָהָ֑ב וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם רַב־לָכֶם֙ מֵעֲל֣וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם הִנֵּ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶעֱל֖וּךָ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
  
  29 וַיָּ֥שֶׂם אֶת־הָאֶחָ֖ד בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֑ל וְאֶת־הָאֶחָ֖ד נָתַ֥ן בְּדָֽן׃
  
  30 וַיְהִ֛י הַדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּ֖ה לְחַטָּ֑את וַיֵּלְכ֥וּ הָעָ֛ם לִפְנֵ֥י הָאֶחָ֖ד עַד־דָּֽן׃
  
  31 וַיַּ֖עַשׂ אֶת־בֵּ֣ית בָּמ֑וֹת וַיַּ֤עַשׂ כֹּֽהֲנִים֙ מִקְצ֣וֹת הָעָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־הָי֖וּ מִבְּנֵ֥י לֵוִֽי׃
  
  32 וַיַּ֣עַשׂ יָרָבְעָ֣ם ׀ חָ֡ג בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשְּׁמִינִ֣י בַּחֲמִשָּֽׁה־עָשָׂר֩ י֨וֹם ׀ לַחֹ֜דֶשׁ כֶּחָ֣ג ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּיהוּדָ֗ה וַיַּ֙עַל֙ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ כֵּ֤ן עָשָׂה֙ בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֔ל לְזַבֵּ֖חַ לָעֲגָלִ֣ים אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֑ה וְהֶעֱמִיד֙ בְּבֵ֣ית אֵ֔ל אֶת־כֹּהֲנֵ֥י הַבָּמ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשָֽׂה׃
  
  33 וַיַּ֜עַל עַֽל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֣חַ ׀ אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֣ה בְּבֵֽית־אֵ֗ל בַּחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה עָשָׂ֥ר יוֹם֙ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הַשְּׁמִינִ֔י בַּחֹ֖דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר־בָּדָ֣א *מלבד **מִלִּבּ֑וֹ וַיַּ֤עַשׂ חָג֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיַּ֥עַל עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ לְהַקְטִֽיר׃

  2 אֶל־פְּנֵי־אֹ֙רֶךְ֙ אַמּ֣וֹת הַמֵּאָ֔ה פֶּ֖תַח הַצָּפ֑וֹן וְהָרֹ֖חַב חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אַמּֽוֹת׃
  
  3 נֶ֣גֶד הָֽעֶשְׂרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ לֶחָצֵ֣ר הַפְּנִימִ֔י וְנֶ֣גֶד רִֽצְפָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֶחָצֵ֣ר הַחִֽיצוֹנָ֑ה אַתִּ֥יק אֶל־פְּנֵֽי־אַתִּ֖יק בַּשְּׁלִשִֽׁים׃
  
  4 וְלִפְנֵ֨י הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת מַהֲלַךְ֩ עֶ֨שֶׂר אַמּ֥וֹת רֹ֙חַב֙ אֶל־הַפְּנִימִ֔ית דֶּ֖רֶךְ אַמָּ֣ה אֶחָ֑ת וּפִתְחֵיהֶ֖ם לַצָּפֽוֹן׃
  
  5 וְהַלְּשָׁכ֥וֹת הָעֶלְיוֹנֹ֖ת קְצֻר֑וֹת כִּֽי־יוֹכְל֨וּ אַתִּיקִ֜ים מֵהֵ֗נָה מֵֽהַתַּחְתֹּנ֛וֹת וּמֵהַתִּֽכֹנ֖וֹת בִּנְיָֽן׃
  
  6 כִּ֤י מְשֻׁלָּשׁוֹת֙ הֵ֔נָּה וְאֵ֤ין לָהֶן֙ עַמּוּדִ֔ים כְּעַמּוּדֵ֖י הַחֲצֵר֑וֹת עַל־כֵּ֣ן נֶאֱצַ֗ל מֵהַתַּחְתּוֹנ֛וֹת וּמֵהַתִּֽיכֹנ֖וֹת מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃
  
  7 וְגָדֵ֤ר אֲשֶׁר־לַחוּץ֙ לְעֻמַּ֣ת הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת דֶּ֛רֶךְ הֶחָצֵ֥ר הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה אֶל־פְּנֵ֣י הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת אָרְכּ֖וֹ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים אַמָּֽה׃
  
  8 כִּֽי־אֹ֣רֶךְ הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֶחָצֵ֥ר הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּ֑ה וְהִנֵּ֛ה עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַהֵיכָ֖ל מֵאָ֥ה אַמָּֽה׃
  
  9 *ומתחתה *לשכות **וּמִתַּ֖חַת **הַלְּשָׁכ֣וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה *המבוא **הַמֵּבִיא֙ מֵֽהַקָּדִ֔ים בְּבֹא֣וֹ לָהֵ֔נָּה מֵֽהֶחָצֵ֖ר הַחִצֹנָֽה׃
  
  10 בְּרֹ֣חַב ׀ גֶּ֣דֶר הֶחָצֵ֗ר דֶּ֧רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֛ים אֶל־פְּנֵ֧י הַגִּזְרָ֛ה וְאֶל־פְּנֵ֥י הַבִּנְיָ֖ן לְשָׁכֽוֹת׃
  
  11 וְדֶ֙רֶךְ֙ לִפְנֵיהֶ֔ם כְּמַרְאֵ֣ה הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁר֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַצָּפ֔וֹן כְּאָרְכָּ֖ן כֵּ֣ן רָחְבָּ֑ן וְכֹל֙ מוֹצָ֣אֵיהֶ֔ן וּכְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶ֖ן וּכְפִתְחֵיהֶֽן׃
  
  12 וּכְפִתְחֵ֣י הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת אֲשֶׁר֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַדָּר֔וֹם פֶּ֖תַח בְּרֹ֣אשׁ דָּ֑רֶךְ דֶּ֗רֶךְ בִּפְנֵי֙ הַגְּדֶ֣רֶת הֲגִינָ֔ה דֶּ֥רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֖ים בְּבוֹאָֽן׃
  
  13 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י לִֽשְׁכ֨וֹת הַצָּפ֜וֹן לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת הַדָּרוֹם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶל־פְּנֵ֣י הַגִּזְרָה֒ הֵ֣נָּה ׀ לִֽשְׁכ֣וֹת הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יֹאכְלוּ־שָׁ֧ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים אֲשֶׁר־קְרוֹבִ֥ים לַֽיהוָ֖ה קָדְשֵׁ֣י הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים שָׁ֞ם יַנִּ֣יחוּ ׀ קָדְשֵׁ֣י הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים וְהַמִּנְחָה֙ וְהַחַטָּ֣את וְהָאָשָׁ֔ם כִּ֥י הַמָּק֖וֹם קָדֹֽשׁ׃
  
  14 בְּבֹאָ֣ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים וְלֹֽא־יֵצְא֤וּ מֵהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ אֶל־הֶחָצֵ֣ר הַחִיצוֹנָ֔ה וְשָׁ֞ם יַנִּ֧יחוּ בִגְדֵיהֶ֛ם אֲשֶׁר־יְשָׁרְת֥וּ בָהֶ֖ן כִּֽי־קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֑נָּה *ילבשו **וְלָבְשׁוּ֙ בְּגָדִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים וְקָרְב֖וּ אֶל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָעָֽם׃
  
  15 וְכִלָּ֗ה אֶת־מִדּוֹת֙ הַבַּ֣יִת הַפְּנִימִ֔י וְהוֹצִיאַ֙נִי֙ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַשַּׁ֔עַר אֲשֶׁ֥ר פָּנָ֖יו דֶּ֣רֶךְ הַקָּדִ֑ים וּמְדָד֖וֹ סָבִ֥יב ׀ סָבִֽיב׃
  
  16 מָדַ֛ד ר֥וּחַ הַקָּדִ֖ים בִּקְנֵ֣ה הַמִּדָּ֑ה חֲמֵשׁ־*אמות **מֵא֥וֹת קָנִ֛ים בִּקְנֵ֥ה הַמִּדָּ֖ה סָבִֽיב׃

  1 Τὸ λοιπόν, ἀδελφοί μου, χαίρετε ἐν κυρίῳ. τὰ αὐτὰ γράφειν ὑμῖν ἐμοὶ μὲν οὐκ ὀκνηρόν, ὑμῖν δὲ ἀσφαλές.
  
  2 Βλέπετε τοὺς κύνας, βλέπετε τοὺς κακοὺς ἐργάτας, βλέπετε τὴν κατατομήν.
  
  3 ἡμεῖς γάρ ἐσμεν ἡ περιτομή, οἱ πνεύματι θεοῦ λατρεύοντες καὶ καυχώμενοι ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἐν σαρκὶ πεποιθότες,
  
  4 καίπερ ἐγὼ ἔχων πεποίθησιν καὶ ἐν σαρκί. Εἴ τις δοκεῖ ἄλλος πεποιθέναι ἐν σαρκί, ἐγὼ μᾶλλον·
  
  5 περιτομῇ ὀκταήμερος, ἐκ γένους Ἰσραήλ, φυλῆς Βενιαμίν, Ἑβραῖος ἐξ Ἑβραίων, κατὰ νόμον Φαρισαῖος,
  
  6 κατὰ ζῆλος διώκων τὴν ἐκκλησίαν, κατὰ δικαιοσύνην τὴν ἐν νόμῳ γενόμενος ἄμεμπτος.
  
  7 Ἀλλὰ ἅτινα ἦν μοι κέρδη, ταῦτα ἥγημαι διὰ τὸν Χριστὸν ζημίαν.
  
  8 ἀλλὰ μενοῦνγε καὶ ἡγοῦμαι πάντα ζημίαν εἶναι διὰ τὸ ὑπερέχον τῆς γνώσεως Χριστοῦ Ἰησοῦ τοῦ κυρίου μου δι’ ὃν τὰ πάντα ἐζημιώθην, καὶ ἡγοῦμαι σκύβαλα ἵνα Χριστὸν κερδήσω
  
  9 καὶ εὑρεθῶ ἐν αὐτῷ, μὴ ἔχων ἐμὴν δικαιοσύνην τὴν ἐκ νόμου ἀλλὰ τὴν διὰ πίστεως Χριστοῦ, τὴν ἐκ θεοῦ δικαιοσύνην ἐπὶ τῇ πίστει,
  
  10 τοῦ γνῶναι αὐτὸν καὶ τὴν δύναμιν τῆς ἀναστάσεως αὐτοῦ καὶ κοινωνίαν παθημάτων αὐτοῦ, συμμορφιζόμενος τῷ θανάτῳ αὐτοῦ,
  
  11 εἴ πως καταντήσω εἰς τὴν ἐξανάστασιν τὴν ἐκ νεκρῶν.
  
  12 Οὐχ ὅτι ἤδη ἔλαβον ἢ ἤδη τετελείωμαι, διώκω δὲ εἰ καὶ καταλάβω, ἐφ’ ᾧ καὶ κατελήμφθην ὑπὸ Χριστοῦ.
  
  13 ἀδελφοί, ἐγὼ ἐμαυτὸν οὐ λογίζομαι κατειληφέναι· ἓν δέ, τὰ μὲν ὀπίσω ἐπιλανθανόμενος τοῖς δὲ ἔμπροσθεν ἐπεκτεινόμενος,
  
  14 κατὰ σκοπὸν διώκω εἰς τὸ βραβεῖον τῆς ἄνω κλήσεως τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν Χριστῷ Ἰησοῦ.
  
  15 ὅσοι οὖν τέλειοι, τοῦτο φρονῶμεν· καὶ εἴ τι ἑτέρως φρονεῖτε, καὶ τοῦτο ὁ θεὸς ὑμῖν ἀποκαλύψει·
  
  16 πλὴν εἰς ὃ ἐφθάσαμεν, τῷ αὐτῷ στοιχεῖν.
  
  17 Συμμιμηταί μου γίνεσθε, ἀδελφοί, καὶ σκοπεῖτε τοὺς οὕτω περιπατοῦντας καθὼς ἔχετε τύπον ἡμᾶς·
  
  18 πολλοὶ γὰρ περιπατοῦσιν οὓς πολλάκις ἔλεγον ὑμῖν, νῦν δὲ καὶ κλαίων λέγω, τοὺς ἐχθροὺς τοῦ σταυροῦ τοῦ Χριστοῦ,
  
  19 ὧν τὸ τέλος ἀπώλεια, ὧν ὁ θεὸς ἡ κοιλία καὶ ἡ δόξα ἐν τῇ αἰσχύνῃ αὐτῶν, οἱ τὰ ἐπίγεια φρονοῦντες.
  
  20 ἡμῶν γὰρ τὸ πολίτευμα ἐν οὐρανοῖς ὑπάρχει, ἐξ οὗ καὶ σωτῆρα ἀπεκδεχόμεθα κύριον Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν,
  
  21 ὃς μετασχηματίσει τὸ σῶμα τῆς ταπεινώσεως ἡμῶν σύμμορφον τῷ σώματι τῆς δόξης αὐτοῦ κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν τοῦ δύνασθαι αὐτὸν καὶ ὑποτάξαι αὑτῷ τὰ πάντα.
