  1 Et la dix-huitième année du roi Jéroboam, fils de Nebath, Abijam commença de régner sur Juda.
  
  2 Il régna trois ans à Jérusalem ; et le nom de sa mère était Maaca, fille d'Abishalom.
  
  3 Et il marcha dans tous les péchés de son père, que celui-ci avait pratiqués avant lui ; et son coeur ne fut pas parfait avec l'Éternel, son Dieu, comme le coeur de David, son père.
  
  4 Toutefois, à cause de David, l'Éternel, son Dieu, lui donna une lampe à Jérusalem, établissant son fils après lui, et faisant subsister Jérusalem ;
  
  5 parce que David avait fait ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, et ne s'était détourné de rien de ce qu'il lui avait commandé, tous les jours de sa vie, excepté dans l'affaire d'Urie, le Héthien.
  
  6 Et il y eut guerre entre Roboam et Jéroboam, tous les jours de sa vie.
  
  7 Et le reste des actes d'Abijam, et tout ce qu'il fit, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois de Juda ? Et il y eut guerre entre Abijam et Jéroboam.
  
  8 Et Abijam s'endormit avec ses pères, et on l'enterra dans la ville de David ; et Asa, son fils, régna à sa place.
  
  9 Et en la vingtième année de Jéroboam, roi d'Israël, Asa commença de régner sur Juda ;
  
  10 et il régna quarante et un ans à Jérusalem ; et le nom de sa mère était Maaca, fille d'Abishalom.
  
  11 Et Asa fit ce qui est droit aux yeux de l'Éternel, comme David, son père ;
  
  12 et il fit disparaître du pays les hommes voués à la prostitution, et ôta toutes les idoles que ses pères avaient faites.
  
  13 Et même à Maaca, sa mère, il ôta sa position de reine, parce qu'elle avait fait un simulacre pour Ashère ; et Asa abattit son simulacre, et le brûla dans la vallée du Cédron.
  
  14 Mais les hauts lieux ne furent pas ôtés ; cependant le coeur d'Asa fut parfait avec l'Éternel, tous ses jours.
  
  15 Et il apporta dans la maison de l'Éternel les choses saintes de son père et les choses que lui-même avait consacrées, de l'argent, et de l'or, et des ustensiles.
  
  16 Et il y eut guerre entre Asa et Baësha, roi d'Israël, tous leurs jours.
  
  17 Et Baësha, roi d'Israël, monta contre Juda ; et il bâtit Rama, afin de ne permettre à personne de sortir de chez Asa, roi de Juda, ou d'entrer vers lui.
  
  18 Et Asa prit tout l'argent et l'or qui restaient dans les trésors de la maison de l'Éternel et dans les trésors de la maison du roi, et les mit entre les mains de ses serviteurs ; et le roi Asa les envoya à Ben-Hadad, fils de Tabrimmon, fils de Hézion, roi de Syrie, qui habitait à Damas, disant :
  
  19 Il y a alliance entre moi et toi, entre mon père et ton père ; voici, je t'envoie un présent d'argent et d'or : va, romps ton alliance avec Baësha, roi d'Israël, afin qu'il s'en aille d'auprès de moi.
  
  20 Et Ben-Hadad écouta le roi Asa, et envoya les chefs de ses troupes contre les villes d'Israël, et il frappa Ijon, et Dan, et Abel-Beth-Maaca, et tout Kinneroth avec tout le pays de Nephthali.
  
  21 Et il arriva, quand Baësha l'apprit, qu'il se désista de bâtir Rama, et il habita à Thirtsa.
  
  22 Et le roi Asa convoqua tout Juda ; personne n'était exempté : et ils emportèrent les pierres de Rama, et les bois avec lesquels Baësha bâtissait ; et le roi Asa en bâtit Guéba de Benjamin et Mitspa.
  
  23 Et le reste de tous les actes d'Asa, et toute sa puissance, et tout ce qu'il fit, et les villes qu'il bâtit, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois de Juda ? Seulement, au temps de sa vieillesse, il fut malade des pieds.
  
  24 Et Asa s'endormit avec ses pères ; et il fut enterré avec ses pères dans la ville de David, son père ; et Josaphat, son fils, régna à sa place.
  
  25 Et Nadab, fils de Jéroboam, commença de régner sur Israël la seconde année d'Asa, roi de Juda ; et il régna sur Israël deux ans.
  
  26 Et il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Éternel, et marcha dans la voie de son père et dans son péché par lequel il avait fait pécher Israël.
  
  27 Et Baësha, fils d'Akhija, de la maison d'Issacar, conspira contre lui ; et Baësha le frappa à Guibbethon, qui était aux Philistins, pendant que Nadab et tout Israël assiégeaient Guibbethon.
  
  28 Et Baësha le mit à mort la troisième année d'Asa, roi de Juda, et régna à sa place.
  
  29 Et il arriva que, quand il fut roi, il frappa toute la maison de Jéroboam ; il ne laissa de Jéroboam personne qui respirât, jusqu'à ce qu'il eût détruit sa maison selon la parole de l'Éternel qu'il avait dite par son serviteur Akhija, le Silonite,
  
  30 à cause des péchés de Jéroboam, qu'il avait commis et par lesquels il avait fait pécher Israël, par sa provocation par laquelle il avait provoqué l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël.
  
  31 Et le reste des actes de Nadab, et tout ce qu'il fit, cela n'est-il pas écrit dans le livre des chroniques des rois d'Israël ?
  
  32 Et il y eut guerre entre Asa et Baësha, roi d'Israël, tous leurs jours.
  
  33 La troisième année d'Asa, roi de Juda, Baësha, fils d'Akhija, commença de régner sur tout Israël, à Thirtsa, et il régna vingt-quatre ans.
  
  34 Et il fit ce qui est mauvais aux yeux de l'Éternel, et marcha dans la voie de Jéroboam, et dans son péché par lequel il avait fait pécher Israël.
  
  Ezéchiel 45
  
  1 Et quand vous partagerez par le sort le pays en héritage, vous offrirez en offrande élevée à l'Éternel une portion du pays sanctifiée : la longueur, vingt-cinq mille coudées en longueur, et la largeur, dix mille. Elle sera sainte dans toutes ses limites à l'entour.
  
  2 De celle-ci il y aura, pour le lieu saint, cinq cents cannes sur cinq cents, un carré, à l'entour ; et il aura cinquante coudées de banlieue, à l'entour.
  
  3 Et, d'après cette mesure, tu mesureras en longueur vingt-cinq mille, et en largeur dix mille ; et le sanctuaire sera là, le lieu très-saint.
  
  4 Ce sera une portion sanctifiée du pays ; elle sera pour les sacrificateurs qui font le service du sanctuaire, qui s'approchent pour servir l'Éternel ; et ce sera un lieu pour leurs maisons, et un lieu consacré pour le sanctuaire.
  
  5 un espace de vingt-cinq mille en longueur et de dix mille en largeur sera aux Lévites qui font le service de la maison ; ils l'auront comme possession pour leurs lieux d'habitation.
  
  6 Et, pour possession de la ville, vous donnerez cinq mille en largeur, et vingt-cinq mille en longueur, le long de la sainte offrande élevée : ce sera pour toute la maison d'Israël.
  
  7 Et il y aura une portion pour le prince, d'un côté et de l'autre côté de la sainte offrande élevée et de la possession de la ville, en face de la sainte offrande élevée et en face de la possession de la ville, au côté occidental vers l'occident, et au côté oriental vers l'orient ; et la longueur en sera vis-à-vis de l'une des portions des tribus, depuis la limite occidentale jusqu'à la limite vers l'orient.
  
  8 Elle lui appartiendra comme terre, comme possession en Israël ; et mes princes n'opprimeront plus mon peuple, mais ils laisseront le pays à la maison d'Israël, selon leurs tribus.
  
  9 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : C'en est assez, princes d'Israël ! Otez la violence et la rapine, et pratiquez le jugement et la justice ; cessez d'expulser mon peuple de leur terre, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
  
  10 Ayez des balances justes, et un épha juste, et un bath juste.
  
  11 L'épha et le bath auront une même mesure, en sorte que le bath contienne la dixième partie d'un khomer, et l'épha, la dixième partie d'un khomer ; leur mesure correspondra au khomer.
  
  12 Et le sicle sera de vingt guéras ; vingt sicles, vingt-cinq sicles, quinze sicles, seront votre mine.
  
  13 C'est ici l'offrande élevée que vous offrirez : sur un khomer de froment, le sixième d'un épha, et sur un khomer d'orge, le sixième d'un épha ;
  
  14 et la redevance en huile, pour un bath d'huile, le dixième d'un bath sur un cor d'huile, le dixième d'un bath sur un cor, qui est un khomer de dix baths (car dix baths font un khomer) ;
  
  15 et une brebis du petit bétail sur deux cents, des pâturages arrosés d'Israël ; -pour offrande de gâteau, et pour holocauste, et pour sacrifices de prospérités, pour faire propitiation pour eux, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.
  
  16 Tout le peuple du pays sera obligé à cette offrande élevée pour le prince en Israël.
  
  17 Et le prince sera chargé de fournir les holocaustes, et l'offrande de gâteau, et la libation, aux jours de fête, et aux nouvelles lunes, et aux sabbats, dans toutes les solennités de la maison d'Israël. Lui, offrira le sacrifice pour le péché, et l'offrande de gâteau, et l'holocauste, et les sacrifices de prospérités, pour faire propitiation pour la maison d'Israël.
  
  18 Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel : Au premier mois, le premier jour du mois, tu prendras un jeune taureau sans défaut, et tu purifieras le sanctuaire.
  
  19 Et le sacrificateur prendra du sang du sacrifice pour le péché, et en mettra sur les poteaux de la maison, et sur les quatre coins de la banquette de l'autel, et sur les poteaux de la porte du parvis intérieur.
  
  20 Et tu feras ainsi, le septième jour du mois, pour celui qui pèche par erreur, et pour le simple, et vous ferez propitiation pour la maison.
  
  21 Au premier mois, le quatorzième jour du mois, sera pour vous la Pâque, une fête de sept jours ; on mangera des pains sans levain.
  
  22 Et le prince offrira en ce jour-là, pour lui-même et pour tout le peuple du pays, un taureau en sacrifice pour le péché.
  
  23 Et, les sept jours de la fête, il offrira à l'Éternel, comme holocauste, sept taureaux et sept béliers sans défaut, chaque jour, les sept jours ; et, en sacrifice pour le péché, un bouc, chaque jour.
  
  24 Et il offrira, comme offrande de gâteau, un épha par taureau, et un épha par bélier, et de l'huile, un hin par épha.
  
  25 Au septième mois, le quinzième jour du mois, à la fête, il fera selon ces ordonnances, sept jours, quant au sacrifice pour le péché, quant à l'holocauste, et quant à l'offrande de gâteau, et quant à l'huile.
  
  Colossiens 2
  
  1 Car je veux que vous sachiez quel combat j'ai pour vous et pour ceux qui sont à Laodicée, et tous ceux qui n'ont point vu mon visage en la chair,
  
  2 afin que leurs coeurs soient consolés, étant unis ensemble dans l'amour et pour toutes les richesses de la pleine certitude d'intelligence, pour la connaissance du mystère de Dieu,
  
  3 dans lequel sont cachés tous les trésors de la sagesse et de la connaissance.
  
  4 Or je dis ceci, afin que personne ne vous séduise par des discours spécieux ;
  
  5 car lors même que je suis absent de corps, toutefois je suis avec vous en esprit, me réjouissant et voyant votre ordre, et la fermeté de votre foi en Christ.
  
  6 Comme donc vous avez reçu le Christ Jésus, le Seigneur,
  
  7 marchez en lui, enracinés et édifiés en lui, et affermis dans la foi, selon que vous avez été enseignés, abondant en elle avec des actions de grâces.
  
  8 Prenez garde que personne ne fasse de vous sa proie par la philosophie et par de vaines déceptions, selon l'enseignement des hommes, selon les éléments du monde, et non selon Christ ;
  
  9 car en lui habite toute la plénitude de la déité corporellement ;
  
  10 et vous êtes accomplis en lui, qui est le chef de toute principauté et autorité,
  
  11 qui aussi vous avez été circoncis d'une circoncision qui n'a pas été faite de main, dans le dépouillement du corps de la chair par la circoncision du Christ,
  
  12 étant ensevelis avec lui dans le baptême, dans lequel aussi vous avez été ressuscités ensemble par la foi en l'opération de Dieu qui l'a ressuscité d'entre les morts.
  
  13 Et vous, lorsque vous étiez morts dans vos fautes et dans l'incirconcision de votre chair, il vous a vivifiés ensemble avec lui, nous ayant pardonnés toutes nos fautes,
  
  14 ayant effacé l'obligation qui était contre nous, laquelle consistait en ordonnances et qui nous était contraire, et il l'a ôtée en la clouant à la croix :
  
  15 ayant dépouillé les principautés et les autorités, il les a produites en public, triomphant d'elles en la croix.
  
  16 Que personne donc ne vous juge en ce qui concerne le manger ou le boire, ou à propos d'un jour de fête ou de nouvelle lune, ou de sabbats,
  
  17 qui sont une ombre des choses à venir ; mais le corps est du Christ.
  
  18 Que personne ne vous frustre du prix du combat, faisant sa volonté propre dans l'humilité et dans le culte des anges, s'ingérant dans les choses qu'il n'a pas vues, enflé d'un vain orgueil par les pensées de sa chair,
  
  19 et ne tenant pas ferme le chef, duquel tout le corps, alimenté et bien uni ensemble par des jointures et des liens, croît de l'accroissement de Dieu.
  
  20 Si vous êtes morts avec Christ aux éléments du monde, pourquoi, comme si vous étiez encore en vie dans le monde, établissez-vous des ordonnances,
  
  21 -ne prends pas, ne goûte pas, ne touche pas !
  
  22 - (choses qui sont toutes destinées à périr par l'usage,) selon les commandements et les enseignements des hommes
  
  23 (qui ont bien une apparence de sagesse en dévotion volontaire et en humilité, et en ce qu'elles n'épargnent pas le corps, ne lui rendant pas un certain honneur), pour la satisfaction de la chair ?

  1 Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat began Abijam to reign over Judah.
  
  2 He reigned three years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom.
  
  3 He walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as the heart of David his father.
  
  4 Nevertheless for David's sake, Yahweh his God gave him a lamp in Jerusalem, to set up his son after him, and to establish Jerusalem;
  
  5 because David did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, and didn't turn aside from anything that he commanded him all the days of his life, except only in the matter of Uriah the Hittite.
  
  6 Now there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all the days of his life.
  
  7 The rest of the acts of Abijam, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? There was war between Abijam and Jeroboam.
  
  8 Abijam slept with his fathers; and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his place.
  
  9 In the twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel began Asa to reign over Judah.
  
  10 He reigned forty-one years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Maacah the daughter of Abishalom.
  
  11 Asa did that which was right in the eyes of Yahweh, as did David his father.
  
  12 He put away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
  
  13 Also Maacah his mother he removed from being queen, because she had made an abominable image for an Asherah; and Asa cut down her image, and burnt it at the brook Kidron.
  
  14 But the high places were not taken away: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect with Yahweh all his days.
  
  15 He brought into the house of Yahweh the things that his father had dedicated, and the things that himself had dedicated, silver, and gold, and vessels.
  
  16 There was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.
  
  17 Baasha king of Israel went up against Judah, and built Ramah, that he might not allow anyone to go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.
  
  18 Then Asa took all the silver and the gold that were left in the treasures of the house of Yahweh, and the treasures of the king's house, and delivered them into the hand of his servants; and king Asa sent them to Ben Hadad, the son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, who lived at Damascus, saying,
  
  19 "There is a treaty between me and you, between my father and your father. Behold, I have sent to you a present of silver and gold. Go, break your treaty with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me."
  
  20 Ben Hadad listened to king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel, and struck Ijon, and Dan, and Abel Beth Maacah, and all Chinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.
  
  21 It happened, when Baasha heard of it, that he left off building Ramah, and lived in Tirzah.
  
  22 Then king Asa made a proclamation to all Judah; none was exempted: and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and its timber, with which Baasha had built; and king Asa built therewith Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpah.
  
  23 Now the rest of all the acts of Asa, and all his might, and all that he did, and the cities which he built, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? But in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet.
  
  24 Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Jehoshaphat his son reigned in his place.
  
  25 Nadab the son of Jeroboam began to reign over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Judah; and he reigned over Israel two years.
  
  26 He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sin with which he made Israel to sin.
  
  27 Baasha the son of Ahijah, of the house of Issachar, conspired against him; and Baasha struck him at Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistines; for Nadab and all Israel were laying siege to Gibbethon.
  
  28 Even in the third year of Asa king of Judah, Baasha killed him, and reigned in his place.
  
  29 It happened that, as soon as he was king, he struck all the house of Jeroboam: he didn't leave to Jeroboam any who breathed, until he had destroyed him; according to the saying of Yahweh, which he spoke by his servant Ahijah the Shilonite;
  
  30 for the sins of Jeroboam which he sinned, and with which he made Israel to sin, because of his provocation with which he provoked Yahweh, the God of Israel, to anger.
  
  31 Now the rest of the acts of Nadab, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
  
  32 There was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel all their days.
  
  33 In the third year of Asa king of Judah, Baasha the son of Ahijah began to reign over all Israel in Tirzah for twenty-four years.
  
  34 He did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh, and walked in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin with which he made Israel to sin.
  
  Ezéchiel 45
  
  1 Moreover, when you shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, you shall offer an offering to Yahweh, a holy portion of the land; the length shall be the length of twenty-five thousand [reeds], and the breadth shall be ten thousand: it shall be holy in all its border all around.
  
  2 Of this there shall be for the holy place five hundred [in length] by five hundred [in breadth], square all around; and fifty cubits for its suburbs all around.
  
  3 Of this measure you shall measure a length of twenty-five thousand, and a breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary, which is most holy.
  
  4 It is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, who come near to minister to Yahweh; and it shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.
  
  5 Twenty-five thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth, shall be to the Levites, the ministers of the house, for a possession to themselves, [for] twenty rooms.
  
  6 You shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and twenty-five thousand long, side by side with the offering of the holy portion: it shall be for the whole house of Israel.
  
  7 [Whatever is] for the prince [shall be] on the one side and on the other side of the holy offering and of the possession of the city, in front of the holy offering and in front of the possession of the city, on the west side westward, and on the east side eastward; and in length answerable to one of the portions, from the west border to the east border.
  
  8 In the land it shall be to him for a possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.
  
  9 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Let it suffice you, princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; dispossessing my people, says the Lord Yahweh.
  
  10 You shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath.
  
  11 The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer , and the ephah the tenth part of a homer: its measure shall be after the homer.
  
  12 The shekel shall be twenty gerahs. Twenty shekels plus twenty-five shekels plus fifteen shekels shall be your mina.
  
  13 This is the offering that you shall offer: the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of wheat; and you shall give the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley;
  
  14 and the set portion of oil, of the bath of oil, the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, [which is] ten baths, even a homer; (for ten baths are a homer;)
  
  15 and one lamb of the flock, out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel--for a meal offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make atonement for them, says the Lord Yahweh.
  
  16 All the people of the land shall give to this offering for the prince in Israel.
  
  17 It shall be the prince's part to give the burnt offerings, and the meal offerings, and the drink offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the Sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meal offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.
  
  18 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, you shall take a young bull without blemish; and you shall cleanse the sanctuary.
  
  19 The priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it on the door posts of the house, and on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the inner court.
  
  20 So you shall do on the seventh [day] of the month for everyone who errs, and for him who is simple: so you shall make atonement for the house.
  
  21 In the first [month], in the fourteenth day of the month, you shall have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.
  
  22 On that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin offering.
  
  23 The seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt offering to Yahweh, seven bulls and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a male goat daily for a sin offering.
  
  24 He shall prepare a meal offering, an ephah for a bull, and an ephah for a ram, and a hin of oil to an ephah.
  
  25 In the seventh [month], in the fifteenth day of the month, in the feast, shall he do the like the seven days; according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and according to the meal offering, and according to the oil.
  
  Colossiens 2
  
  1 For I desire to have you know how greatly I struggle for you, and for those at Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh;
  
  2 that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and gaining all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ,
  
  3 in whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.
  
  4 Now this I say that no one may delude you with persuasiveness of speech.
  
  5 For though I am absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
  
  6 As therefore you received Christ Jesus, the Lord, walk in him,
  
  7 rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith, even as you were taught, abounding in it in thanksgiving.
  
  8 Be careful that you don't let anyone rob you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Christ.
  
  9 For in him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily,
  
  10 and in him you are made full, who is the head of all principality and power;
  
  11 in whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the sins of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;
  
  12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.
  
  13 You were dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh. He made you alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
  
  14 wiping out the handwriting in ordinances which was against us; and he has taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross;
  
  15 having stripped the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
  
  16 Let no one therefore judge you in eating, or in drinking, or with respect to a feast day or a new moon or a Sabbath day,
  
  17 which are a shadow of the things to come; but the body is Christ's.
  
  18 Let no one rob you of your prize by a voluntary humility and worshipping of the angels, dwelling in the things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
  
  19 and not holding firmly to the Head, from whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and ligaments, grows with God's growth.
  
  20 If you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to ordinances,
  
  21 "Don't handle, nor taste, nor touch"
  
  22 (all of which perish with use), according to the precepts and doctrines of men?
  
  23 Which things indeed appear like wisdom in self-imposed worship, and humility, and severity to the body; but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh.

  1 וּבִשְׁנַת֙ שְׁמֹנֶ֣ה עֶשְׂרֵ֔ה לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ יָרָבְעָ֣ם בֶּן־נְבָ֑ט מָלַ֥ךְ אֲבִיָּ֖ם עַל־יְהוּדָֽה׃
  
  2 שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ מַעֲכָ֖ה בַּת־אֲבִישָׁלֽוֹם׃
  
  3 וַיֵּ֕לֶךְ בְּכָל־חַטֹּ֥אות אָבִ֖יו אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֣ה לְפָנָ֑יו וְלֹא־הָיָ֨ה לְבָב֤וֹ שָׁלֵם֙ עִם־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֔יו כִּלְבַ֖ב דָּוִ֥ד אָבִֽיו׃
  
  4 כִּ֚י לְמַ֣עַן דָּוִ֔ד נָתַן֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהָ֥יו ל֛וֹ נִ֖יר בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם לְהָקִ֤ים אֶת־בְּנוֹ֙ אַחֲרָ֔יו וּֽלְהַעֲמִ֖יד אֶת־יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
  
  5 אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשָׂ֥ה דָוִ֛ד אֶת־הַיָּשָׁ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְלֹֽא־סָ֞ר מִכֹּ֣ל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֗הוּ כֹּ֚ל יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֔יו רַ֕ק בִּדְבַ֖ר אוּרִיָּ֥ה הַחִתִּֽי׃
  
  6 וּמִלְחָמָ֨ה הָיְתָ֧ה בֵין־רְחַבְעָ֛ם וּבֵ֥ין יָרָבְעָ֖ם כָּל־יְמֵ֥י חַיָּֽיו׃
  
  7 וְיֶ֨תֶר דִּבְרֵ֤י אֲבִיָּם֙ וְכָל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֔ה הֲלֽוֹא־הֵ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֗ים עַל־סֵ֛פֶר דִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖ים לְמַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וּמִלְחָמָ֥ה הָיְתָ֛ה בֵּ֥ין אֲבִיָּ֖ם וּבֵ֥ין יָרָבְעָֽם׃
  
  8 וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב אֲבִיָּם֙ עִם־אֲבֹתָ֔יו וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ אֹת֖וֹ בְּעִ֣יר דָּוִ֑ד וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ אָסָ֥א בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

  10 וְאַרְבָּעִ֤ים וְאַחַת֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ מַעֲכָ֖ה בַּת־אֲבִישָׁלֽוֹם׃
  
  11 וַיַּ֧עַשׂ אָסָ֛א הַיָּשָׁ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה כְּדָוִ֖ד אָבִֽיו׃
  
  12 וַיַּעֲבֵ֥ר הַקְּדֵשִׁ֖ים מִן־הָאָ֑רֶץ וַיָּ֙סַר֙ אֶת־כָּל־הַגִּלֻּלִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשׂ֖וּ אֲבֹתָֽיו׃
  
  13 וְגַ֣ם ׀ אֶת־מַעֲכָ֣ה אִמּ֗וֹ וַיְסִרֶ֙הָ֙ מִגְּבִירָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־עָשְׂתָ֥ה מִפְלֶ֖צֶת לָאֲשֵׁרָ֑ה וַיִּכְרֹ֤ת אָסָא֙ אֶת־מִפְלַצְתָּ֔הּ וַיִּשְׂרֹ֖ף בְּנַ֥חַל קִדְרֽוֹן׃
  
  14 וְהַבָּמ֖וֹת לֹא־סָ֑רוּ רַ֣ק לְבַב־אָסָ֗א הָיָ֥ה שָׁלֵ֛ם עִם־יְהוָ֖ה כָּל־יָמָֽיו׃
  
  15 וַיָּבֵא֙ אֶת־קָדְשֵׁ֣י אָבִ֔יו *וקדשו **וְקָדְשֵׁ֖י בֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה כֶּ֥סֶף וְזָהָ֖ב וְכֵלִֽים׃
  
  16 וּמִלְחָמָ֨ה הָיְתָ֜ה בֵּ֣ין אָסָ֗א וּבֵ֛ין בַּעְשָׁ֥א מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כָּל־יְמֵיהֶֽם׃
  
  17 וַיַּ֨עַל בַּעְשָׁ֤א מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ עַל־יְהוּדָ֔ה וַיִּ֖בֶן אֶת־הָרָמָ֑ה לְבִלְתִּ֗י תֵּ֚ת יֹצֵ֣א וָבָ֔א לְאָסָ֖א מֶ֥לֶךְ יְהוּדָֽה׃
  
  18 וַיִּקַּ֣ח אָ֠סָא אֶת־כָּל־הַכֶּ֨סֶף וְהַזָּהָ֜ב הַֽנּוֹתָרִ֣ים ׀ בְּאוֹצְר֣וֹת בֵּית־יְהוָ֗ה וְאֶת־אֽוֹצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית *מלך **הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖ם בְּיַד־עֲבָדָ֑יו וַיִּשְׁלָחֵ֞ם הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אָסָ֗א אֶל־בֶּן־הֲ֠דַד בֶּן־טַבְרִמֹּ֤ן בֶּן־חֶזְיוֹן֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ אֲרָ֔ם הַיֹּשֵׁ֥ב בְּדַמֶּ֖שֶׂק לֵאמֹֽר׃
  
  19 בְּרִית֙ בֵּינִ֣י וּבֵינֶ֔ךָ בֵּ֥ין אָבִ֖י וּבֵ֣ין אָבִ֑יךָ הִנֵּה֩ שָׁלַ֨חְתִּֽי לְךָ֥ שֹׁ֙חַד֙ כֶּ֣סֶף וְזָהָ֔ב לֵ֣ךְ הָפֵ֗רָה אֶת־בְּרִֽיתְךָ֙ אֶת־בַּעְשָׁ֣א מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְיַעֲלֶ֖ה מֵעָלָֽי׃
  
  20 וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע בֶּן־הֲדַ֜ד אֶל־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אָסָ֗א וַ֠יִּשְׁלַח אֶת־שָׂרֵ֨י הַחֲיָלִ֤ים אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ֙ עַל־עָרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וַיַּךְ֙ אֶת־עִיּ֣וֹן וְאֶת־דָּ֔ן וְאֵ֖ת אָבֵ֣ל בֵּֽית־מַעֲכָ֑ה וְאֵת֙ כָּל־כִּנְר֔וֹת עַ֖ל כָּל־אֶ֥רֶץ נַפְתָּלִֽי׃
  
  21 וַֽיְהִי֙ כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ בַּעְשָׁ֔א וַיֶּחְדַּ֕ל מִבְּנ֖וֹת אֶת־הָֽרָמָ֑ה וַיֵּ֖שֶׁב בְּתִרְצָֽה׃
  
  22 וְהַמֶּ֨לֶךְ אָסָ֜א הִשְׁמִ֤יעַ אֶת־כָּל־יְהוּדָה֙ אֵ֣ין נָקִ֔י וַיִּשְׂא֞וּ אֶת־אַבְנֵ֤י הָֽרָמָה֙ וְאֶת־עֵצֶ֔יהָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּנָ֖ה בַּעְשָׁ֑א וַיִּ֤בֶן בָּם֙ הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אָסָ֔א אֶת־גֶּ֥בַע בִּנְיָמִ֖ן וְאֶת־הַמִּצְפָּֽה׃
  
  23 וְיֶ֣תֶר כָּל־דִּבְרֵֽי־אָ֠סָא וְכָל־גְּב֨וּרָת֜וֹ וְכָל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֗ה וְהֶֽעָרִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּנָ֔ה הֲלֹֽא־הֵ֣מָּה כְתוּבִ֗ים עַל־סֵ֛פֶר דִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖ים לְמַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה רַ֚ק לְעֵ֣ת זִקְנָת֔וֹ חָלָ֖ה אֶת־רַגְלָֽיו׃
  
  24 וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב אָסָא֙ עִם־אֲבֹתָ֔יו וַיִּקָּבֵר֙ עִם־אֲבֹתָ֔יו בְּעִ֖יר דָּוִ֣ד אָבִ֑יו וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט בְּנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
  
  25 וְנָדָ֣ב בֶּן־יָרָבְעָ֗ם מָלַךְ֙ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שְׁתַּ֔יִם לְאָסָ֖א מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל שְׁנָתָֽיִם׃
  
  26 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ אָבִ֔יו וּ֨בְחַטָּאת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶחֱטִ֖יא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  27 וַיִּקְשֹׁ֨ר עָלָ֜יו בַּעְשָׁ֤א בֶן־אֲחִיָּה֙ לְבֵ֣ית יִשָּׂשכָ֔ר וַיַּכֵּ֣הוּ בַעְשָׁ֔א בְּגִבְּת֖וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר לַפְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וְנָדָב֙ וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל צָרִ֖ים עַֽל־גִּבְּתֽוֹן׃
  
  28 וַיְמִתֵ֣הוּ בַעְשָׁ֔א בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שָׁלֹ֔שׁ לְאָסָ֖א מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃
  
  29 וַיְהִ֣י כְמָלְכ֗וֹ הִכָּה֙ אֶת־כָּל־בֵּ֣ית יָרָבְעָ֔ם לֹֽא־הִשְׁאִ֧יר כָּל־נְשָׁמָ֛ה לְיָרָבְעָ֖ם עַד־הִשְׁמִד֑וֹ כִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר דִּבֶּ֔ר בְּיַד־עַבְדּ֖וֹ אֲחִיָּ֥ה הַשִּׁילֹנִֽי׃
  
  30 עַל־חַטֹּ֤אות יָרָבְעָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֔א וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶחֱטִ֖יא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּכַעְס֕וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִכְעִ֔יס אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  31 וְיֶ֛תֶר דִּבְרֵ֥י נָדָ֖ב וְכָל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֑ה הֲלֹא־הֵ֣ם כְּתוּבִ֗ים עַל־סֵ֛פֶר דִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖ים לְמַלְכֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  32 וּמִלְחָמָ֨ה הָיְתָ֜ה בֵּ֣ין אָסָ֗א וּבֵ֛ין בַּעְשָׁ֥א מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כָּל־יְמֵיהֶֽם׃
  
  33 בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שָׁלֹ֔שׁ לְאָסָ֖א מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה מָ֠לַךְ בַּעְשָׁ֨א בֶן־אֲחִיָּ֤ה עַל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּתִרְצָ֔ה עֶשְׂרִ֥ים וְאַרְבַּ֖ע שָׁנָֽה׃
  
  34 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יָרָבְעָ֔ם וּ֨בְחַטָּאת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶחֱטִ֖יא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

  1 וּבְהַפִּֽילְכֶ֨ם אֶת־הָאָ֜רֶץ בְּנַחֲלָ֗ה תָּרִימוּ֩ תְרוּמָ֨ה לַיהוָ֥ה ׀ קֹדֶשׁ֮ מִן־הָאָרֶץ֒ אֹ֗רֶךְ חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים אֶ֙לֶף֙ אֹ֔רֶךְ וְרֹ֖חַב עֲשָׂ֣רָה אָ֑לֶף קֹדֶשׁ־ה֥וּא בְכָל־גְּבוּלָ֖הּ סָבִֽיב׃
  
  2 יִהְיֶ֤ה מִזֶּה֙ אֶל־הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ חֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֛וֹת בַּחֲמֵ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת מְרֻבָּ֣ע סָבִ֑יב וַחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים אַמָּ֔ה מִגְרָ֥שׁ ל֖וֹ סָבִֽיב׃
  
  3 וּמִן־הַמִּדָּ֤ה הַזֹּאת֙ תָּמ֔וֹד אֹ֗רֶךְ *חמש **חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף וְרֹ֖חַב עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת אֲלָפִ֑ים וּבֽוֹ־יִהְיֶ֥ה הַמִּקְדָּ֖שׁ קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָדָשִֽׁים׃
  
  4 קֹ֣דֶשׁ מִן־הָאָ֜רֶץ ה֗וּא לַכֹּ֨הֲנִ֜ים מְשָׁרְתֵ֤י הַמִּקְדָּשׁ֙ יִֽהְיֶ֔ה הַקְּרֵבִ֖ים לְשָׁרֵ֣ת אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וְהָיָ֨ה לָהֶ֤ם מָקוֹם֙ לְבָ֣תִּ֔ים וּמִקְדָּ֖שׁ לַמִּקְדָּֽשׁ׃
  
  5 וַחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים אֶ֙לֶף֙ אֹ֔רֶךְ וַעֲשֶׂ֥רֶת אֲלָפִ֖ים רֹ֑חַב *יהיה **וְֽהָיָ֡ה לַלְוִיִּם֩ מְשָׁרְתֵ֨י הַבַּ֧יִת לָהֶ֛ם לַאֲחֻזָּ֖ה עֶשְׂרִ֥ים לְשָׁכֹֽת׃
  
  6 וַאֲחֻזַּ֨ת הָעִ֜יר תִּתְּנ֗וּ חֲמֵ֤שֶׁת אֲלָפִים֙ רֹ֔חַב וְאֹ֗רֶךְ חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ אֶ֔לֶף לְעֻמַּ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת הַקֹּ֑דֶשׁ לְכָל־בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יִהְיֶֽה׃
  
  7 וְלַנָּשִׂ֡יא מִזֶּ֣ה וּמִזֶּה֩ לִתְרוּמַ֨ת הַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ וְלַאֲחֻזַּ֣ת הָעִ֗יר אֶל־פְּנֵ֤י תְרֽוּמַת־הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ וְאֶל־פְּנֵי֙ אֲחֻזַּ֣ת הָעִ֔יר מִפְּאַת־יָ֣ם יָ֔מָּה וּמִפְּאַת־קֵ֖דְמָה קָדִ֑ימָה וְאֹ֗רֶךְ לְעֻמּוֹת֙ אַחַ֣ד הַחֲלָקִ֔ים מִגְּב֥וּל יָ֖ם אֶל־גְּב֥וּל קָדִֽימָה׃
  
  8 לָאָ֛רֶץ יִֽהְיֶה־לּ֥וֹ לַֽאֲחֻזָּ֖ה בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹא־יוֹנ֨וּ ע֤וֹד נְשִׂיאַי֙ אֶת־עַמִּ֔י וְהָאָ֛רֶץ יִתְּנ֥וּ לְבֵֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְשִׁבְטֵיהֶֽם׃
  
  9 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה רַב־לָכֶם֙ נְשִׂיאֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל חָמָ֤ס וָשֹׁד֙ הָסִ֔ירוּ וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּצְדָקָ֖ה עֲשׂ֑וּ הָרִ֤ימוּ גְרֻשֹֽׁתֵיכֶם֙ מֵעַ֣ל עַמִּ֔י נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃
  
  10 מֹֽאזְנֵי־צֶ֧דֶק וְאֵֽיפַת־צֶ֛דֶק וּבַת־צֶ֖דֶק יְהִ֥י לָכֶֽם׃
  
  11 הָאֵיפָ֣ה וְהַבַּ֗ת תֹּ֤כֶן אֶחָד֙ יִֽהְיֶ֔ה לָשֵׂ֕את מַעְשַׂ֥ר הַחֹ֖מֶר הַבָּ֑ת וַעֲשִׂירִ֤ת הַחֹ֙מֶר֙ הָֽאֵיפָ֔ה אֶל־הַחֹ֖מֶר יִהְיֶ֥ה מַתְכֻּנְתּֽוֹ׃
  
  12 וְהַשֶּׁ֖קֶל עֶשְׂרִ֣ים גֵּרָ֑ה עֶשְׂרִ֨ים שְׁקָלִ֜ים חֲמִשָּׁ֧ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֣ים שְׁקָלִ֗ים עֲשָׂרָ֤ה וַחֲמִשָּׁה֙ שֶׁ֔קֶל הַמָּנֶ֖ה יִֽהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶֽם׃
  
  13 זֹ֥את הַתְּרוּמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר תָּרִ֑ימוּ שִׁשִּׁ֤ית הָֽאֵיפָה֙ מֵחֹ֣מֶר הַֽחִטִּ֔ים וְשִׁשִּׁיתֶם֙ הָֽאֵיפָ֔ה מֵחֹ֖מֶר הַשְּׂעֹרִֽים׃
  
  14 וְחֹ֨ק הַשֶּׁ֜מֶן הַבַּ֣ת הַשֶּׁ֗מֶן מַעְשַׂ֤ר הַבַּת֙ מִן־הַכֹּ֔ר עֲשֶׂ֥רֶת הַבַּתִּ֖ים חֹ֑מֶר כִּֽי־עֲשֶׂ֥רֶת הַבַּתִּ֖ים חֹֽמֶר׃
  
  15 וְשֶׂה־אַחַ֨ת מִן־הַצֹּ֤אן מִן־הַמָּאתַ֙יִם֙ מִמַּשְׁקֵ֣ה יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְמִנְחָ֖ה וּלְעוֹלָ֣ה וְלִשְׁלָמִ֑ים לְכַפֵּ֣ר עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃
  
  16 כֹּ֚ל הָעָ֣ם הָאָ֔רֶץ יִהְי֖וּ אֶל־הַתְּרוּמָ֣ה הַזֹּ֑את לַנָּשִׂ֖יא בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  17 וְעַֽל־הַנָּשִׂ֣יא יִהְיֶ֗ה הָעוֹל֣וֹת וְהַמִּנְחָה֮ וְהַנֵּסֶךְ֒ בַּחַגִּ֤ים וּבֶחֳדָשִׁים֙ וּבַשַּׁבָּת֔וֹת בְּכָֽל־מוֹעֲדֵ֖י בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל הֽוּא־יַעֲשֶׂ֞ה אֶת־הַחַטָּ֣את וְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָ֗ה וְאֶת־הָֽעוֹלָה֙ וְאֶת־הַשְּׁלָמִ֔ים לְכַפֵּ֖ר בְּעַ֥ד בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  18 כֹּה־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ בָּֽרִאשׁוֹן֙ בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ תִּקַּ֥ח פַּר־בֶּן־בָּקָ֖ר תָּמִ֑ים וְחִטֵּאתָ֖ אֶת־הַמִּקְדָּֽשׁ׃
  
  19 וְלָקַ֨ח הַכֹּהֵ֜ן מִדַּ֣ם הַחַטָּ֗את וְנָתַן֙ אֶל־מְזוּזַ֣ת הַבַּ֔יִת וְאֶל־אַרְבַּ֛ע פִּנּ֥וֹת הָעֲזָרָ֖ה לַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וְעַ֨ל־מְזוּזַ֔ת שַׁ֖עַר הֶחָצֵ֥ר הַפְּנִימִֽית׃
  
  20 וְכֵ֤ן תַּֽעֲשֶׂה֙ בְּשִׁבְעָ֣ה בַחֹ֔דֶשׁ מֵאִ֥ישׁ שֹׁגֶ֖ה וּמִפֶּ֑תִי וְכִפַּרְתֶּ֖ם אֶת־הַבָּֽיִת׃
  
  21 בָּ֠רִאשׁוֹן בְּאַרְבָּעָ֨ה עָשָׂ֥ר יוֹם֙ לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם הַפָּ֑סַח חָ֕ג שְׁבֻע֣וֹת יָמִ֔ים מַצּ֖וֹת יֵאָכֵֽל׃
  
  22 וְעָשָׂ֤ה הַנָּשִׂיא֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא בַּעֲד֕וֹ וּבְעַ֖ד כָּל־עַ֣ם הָאָ֑רֶץ פַּ֖ר חַטָּֽאת׃
  
  23 וְשִׁבְעַ֨ת יְמֵֽי־הֶחָ֜ג יַעֲשֶׂ֧ה עוֹלָ֣ה לַֽיהוָ֗ה שִׁבְעַ֣ת פָּ֠רִים וְשִׁבְעַ֨ת אֵילִ֤ים תְּמִימִם֙ לַיּ֔וֹם שִׁבְעַ֖ת הַיָּמִ֑ים וְחַטָּ֕את שְׂעִ֥יר עִזִּ֖ים לַיּֽוֹם׃
  
  24 וּמִנְחָ֗ה אֵיפָ֥ה לַפָּ֛ר וְאֵיפָ֥ה לָאַ֖יִל יַֽעֲשֶׂ֑ה וְשֶׁ֖מֶן הִ֥ין לָאֵיפָֽה׃
  
  25 בַּשְּׁבִיעִ֡י בַּחֲמִשָּׁה֩ עָשָׂ֨ר י֤וֹם לַחֹ֙דֶשׁ֙ בֶּחָ֔ג יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה כָאֵ֖לֶּה שִׁבְעַ֣ת הַיָּמִ֑ים כַּֽחַטָּאת֙ כָּעֹלָ֔ה וְכַמִּנְחָ֖ה וְכַשָּֽׁמֶן׃

  1 Θέλω γὰρ ὑμᾶς εἰδέναι ἡλίκον ἀγῶνα ἔχω ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν καὶ τῶν ἐν Λαοδικείᾳ καὶ ὅσοι οὐχ ἑόρακαν τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐν σαρκί,
  
  2 ἵνα παρακληθῶσιν αἱ καρδίαι αὐτῶν, συμβιβασθέντες ἐν ἀγάπῃ καὶ εἰς πᾶν πλοῦτος τῆς πληροφορίας τῆς συνέσεως, εἰς ἐπίγνωσιν τοῦ μυστηρίου τοῦ θεοῦ, Χριστοῦ,
  
  3 ἐν ᾧ εἰσιν πάντες οἱ θησαυροὶ τῆς σοφίας καὶ γνώσεως ἀπόκρυφοι.
  
  4 τοῦτο λέγω ἵνα μηδεὶς ὑμᾶς παραλογίζηται ἐν πιθανολογίᾳ.
  
  5 εἰ γὰρ καὶ τῇ σαρκὶ ἄπειμι, ἀλλὰ τῷ πνεύματι σὺν ὑμῖν εἰμι, χαίρων καὶ βλέπων ὑμῶν τὴν τάξιν καὶ τὸ στερέωμα τῆς εἰς Χριστὸν πίστεως ὑμῶν.
  
  6 Ὡς οὖν παρελάβετε τὸν Χριστὸν Ἰησοῦν τὸν κύριον, ἐν αὐτῷ περιπατεῖτε,
  
  7 ἐρριζωμένοι καὶ ἐποικοδομούμενοι ἐν αὐτῷ καὶ βεβαιούμενοι τῇ πίστει καθὼς ἐδιδάχθητε, περισσεύοντες ἐν εὐχαριστίᾳ.
  
  8 Βλέπετε μή τις ὑμᾶς ἔσται ὁ συλαγωγῶν διὰ τῆς φιλοσοφίας καὶ κενῆς ἀπάτης κατὰ τὴν παράδοσιν τῶν ἀνθρώπων, κατὰ τὰ στοιχεῖα τοῦ κόσμου καὶ οὐ κατὰ Χριστόν·
  
  9 ὅτι ἐν αὐτῷ κατοικεῖ πᾶν τὸ πλήρωμα τῆς θεότητος σωματικῶς,
  
  10 καὶ ἐστὲ ἐν αὐτῷ πεπληρωμένοι, ὅς ἐστιν ἡ κεφαλὴ πάσης ἀρχῆς καὶ ἐξουσίας,
  
  11 ἐν ᾧ καὶ περιετμήθητε περιτομῇ ἀχειροποιήτῳ ἐν τῇ ἀπεκδύσει τοῦ σώματος τῆς σαρκός, ἐν τῇ περιτομῇ τοῦ Χριστοῦ,
  
  12 συνταφέντες αὐτῷ ἐν τῷ βαπτισμῷ, ἐν ᾧ καὶ συνηγέρθητε διὰ τῆς πίστεως τῆς ἐνεργείας τοῦ θεοῦ τοῦ ἐγείραντος αὐτὸν ἐκ νεκρῶν·
  
  13 καὶ ὑμᾶς νεκροὺς ὄντας ἐν τοῖς παραπτώμασιν καὶ τῇ ἀκροβυστίᾳ τῆς σαρκὸς ὑμῶν, συνεζωοποίησεν ὑμᾶς σὺν αὐτῷ· χαρισάμενος ἡμῖν πάντα τὰ παραπτώματα,
  
  14 ἐξαλείψας τὸ καθ’ ἡμῶν χειρόγραφον τοῖς δόγμασιν ὃ ἦν ὑπεναντίον ἡμῖν, καὶ αὐτὸ ἦρκεν ἐκ τοῦ μέσου προσηλώσας αὐτὸ τῷ σταυρῷ·
  
  15 ἀπεκδυσάμενος τὰς ἀρχὰς καὶ τὰς ἐξουσίας ἐδειγμάτισεν ἐν παρρησίᾳ, θριαμβεύσας αὐτοὺς ἐν αὐτῷ.
  
  16 Μὴ οὖν τις ὑμᾶς κρινέτω ἐν βρώσει ἢ ἐν πόσει ἢ ἐν μέρει ἑορτῆς ἢ νουμηνίας ἢ σαββάτων,
  
  17 ἅ ἐστιν σκιὰ τῶν μελλόντων, τὸ δὲ σῶμα τοῦ Χριστοῦ.
  
  18 μηδεὶς ὑμᾶς καταβραβευέτω θέλων ἐν ταπεινοφροσύνῃ καὶ θρησκείᾳ τῶν ἀγγέλων, ἃ ἑόρακεν ἐμβατεύων, εἰκῇ φυσιούμενος ὑπὸ τοῦ νοὸς τῆς σαρκὸς αὐτοῦ,
  
  19 καὶ οὐ κρατῶν τὴν κεφαλήν, ἐξ οὗ πᾶν τὸ σῶμα διὰ τῶν ἁφῶν καὶ συνδέσμων ἐπιχορηγούμενον καὶ συμβιβαζόμενον αὔξει τὴν αὔξησιν τοῦ θεοῦ.
  
  20 Εἰ ἀπεθάνετε σὺν Χριστῷ ἀπὸ τῶν στοιχείων τοῦ κόσμου, τί ὡς ζῶντες ἐν κόσμῳ δογματίζεσθε·
  
  21 Μὴ ἅψῃ μηδὲ γεύσῃ μηδὲ θίγῃς,
  
  22 ἅ ἐστιν πάντα εἰς φθορὰν τῇ ἀποχρήσει, κατὰ τὰ ἐντάλματα καὶ διδασκαλίας τῶν ἀνθρώπων;
  
  23 ἅτινά ἐστιν λόγον μὲν ἔχοντα σοφίας ἐν ἐθελοθρησκίᾳ καὶ ταπεινοφροσύνῃ καὶ ἀφειδίᾳ σώματος, οὐκ ἐν τιμῇ τινι πρὸς πλησμονὴν τῆς σαρκός.
