- 2 Rois 5
  
  1 Or Naaman, chef de l'armée du roi de Syrie, était un grand homme devant son seigneur, et considéré, car par lui l'Éternel avait délivré les Syriens ; et cet homme était fort et vaillant, mais lépreux.
  
  2 Et les Syriens étaient sortis par bandes, et avaient amené captive du pays d'Israël une petite fille, et elle servait la femme de Naaman.
  
  3 Et elle dit à sa maîtresse : Oh, si mon seigneur était devant le prophète qui est à Samarie ! alors il le délivrerait de sa lèpre.
  
  4 Et Naaman vint et le rapporta à son seigneur, disant : La jeune fille qui est du pays d'Israël a dit ainsi et ainsi.
  
  5 Et le roi de Syrie dit : Soit ! va, et j'enverrai une lettre au roi d'Israël. Et il alla, et prit en sa main dix talents d'argent, et six mille pièces d'or, et dix vêtements de rechange.
  
  6 Et il apporta au roi d'Israël la lettre, qui disait : Maintenant, quand cette lettre te parviendra, voici, je t'ai envoyé Naaman, mon serviteur, afin que tu le délivres de sa lèpre.
  
  7 Et il arriva que, lorsque le roi d'Israël eut lu la lettre, il déchira ses vêtements, et dit : Suis-je Dieu, pour faire mourir et pour faire vivre, que celui-ci envoie vers moi pour délivrer un homme de sa lèpre ? Sachez donc, et voyez qu'il cherche une occasion contre moi.
  
  8 Et il arriva que lorsque Élisée, homme de Dieu, eut entendu que le roi d'Israël avait déchiré ses vêtements, il envoya dire au roi : Pourquoi as-tu déchiré tes vêtements ? Qu'il vienne, je te prie, vers moi, et il saura qu'il y a un prophète en Israël.
  
  9 Et Naaman vint avec ses chevaux et avec son char, et se tint à l'entrée de la maison d'Élisée.
  
  10 Et Élisée envoya vers lui un messager, disant : Va, et lave-toi sept fois dans le Jourdain, et ta chair redeviendra saine, et tu seras pur.
  
  11 Et Naaman se mit en colère, et s'en alla, et dit : Voici, je me disais : Il sortira sans doute, et se tiendra là, et invoquera le nom de l'Éternel, son Dieu, et il promènera sa main sur la place malade et délivrera le lépreux.
  
  12 L'Abana et le Parpar, rivières de Damas, ne sont-elles pas meilleures que toutes les eaux d'Israël ? Ne puis-je pas m'y laver et être pur ? Et il se tourna, et s'en alla en colère.
  
  13 Et ses serviteurs s'approchèrent de lui, et lui parlèrent, et dirent : Mon père, si le prophète t'eût dit quelque grande chose, ne l'eusses-tu pas faite ? Combien plus, quand il t'a dit : Lave-toi, et tu seras pur.
  
  14 Et il descendit, et se plongea sept fois dans le Jourdain, selon la parole de l'homme de Dieu ; et sa chair redevint comme la chair d'un jeune garçon, et il fut pur.
  
  15 Et il retourna vers l'homme de Dieu, lui et tout son camp, et il vint et se tint devant lui, et dit : Voici, je sais qu'il n'y a point de Dieu en toute la terre, sinon en Israël. Et maintenant, je te prie, prends un présent de ton serviteur.
  
  16 Mais Élisée dit : L'Éternel, devant qui je me tiens, est vivant, que je ne le prendrai pas. Et Naaman le pressa de le prendre, mais il refusa.
  
  17 Et Naaman dit : Si cela ne se peut, qu'on donne, je te prie, de cette terre à ton serviteur la charge de deux mulets. Car ton serviteur n'offrira plus d'holocauste ni de sacrifice à d'autres dieux, mais seulement à l'Éternel.
  
  18 Qu'en ceci l'Éternel pardonne à ton serviteur : quand mon seigneur entrera dans la maison de Rimmon pour s'y prosterner, et qu'il s'appuiera sur ma main, et que je me prosternerai dans la maison de Rimmon, que l'Éternel, je te prie, pardonne à ton serviteur en ceci, quand je me prosternerai dans la maison de Rimmon !
  
  19 Et il lui dit : Va en paix. Et il s'en alla d'avec lui un bout de chemin.
  
  20 Et Guéhazi, le jeune homme d'Élisée, homme de Dieu, dit : Voici, mon maître a épargné Naaman, ce Syrien, en ne prenant pas de sa main ce qu'il avait apporté ; l'Éternel est vivant, si je ne cours après lui, et si je ne prends de lui quelque chose !
  
  21 Et Guéhazi poursuivit Naaman : et Naaman vit qu'il courait après lui ; et il descendit de son char à sa rencontre, et lui dit : Tout va-t-il bien ?
  
  22 Et il dit : Bien. Mon maître m'a envoyé, disant : Voici, dans ce moment, deux jeunes hommes d'entre les fils des prophètes sont venus vers moi, de la montagne d'Éphraïm ; donne-leur, je te prie, un talent d'argent et deux vêtements de rechange.
  
  23 Et Naaman dit : Consens à prendre deux talents. Et il le pressa avec insistance ; et il lia deux talents d'argent dans deux sacs, et deux vêtements de rechange, et il les donna à deux de ses jeunes hommes ; et ils les portèrent devant Guéhazi.
  
  24 Et quand il fut arrivé à la colline, il les prit de leurs mains, et les serra dans la maison ; et il renvoya les hommes et ils s'en allèrent.
  
  25 Et lui, il entra et se tint devant son maître. Et Élisée lui dit : D'où viens-tu, Guéhazi ? Et il dit : Ton serviteur n'est allé nulle part.
  
  26 Et Élisée lui dit : Mon coeur n'est-il pas allé, quand l'homme s'est retourné de dessus son char à ta rencontre ? Est-ce le temps de prendre de l'argent, et de prendre des vêtements, et des oliviers, et des vignes, et du menu et du gros bétail, et des serviteurs et des servantes ?...
  
  27 La lèpre de Naaman s'attachera à toi et à ta semence pour toujours. Et Guéhazi sortit de devant lui, lépreux, blanc comme la neige.
  
  Daniel 9
  
  1 La première année de Darius, fils d'Assuérus, de la semence des Mèdes, qui fut fait roi sur le royaume des Chaldéens,
  
  2 la première année de son règne, moi, Daniel, je compris par les livres que le nombre des années touchant lequel la parole de l'Éternel vint à Jérémie le prophète, pour l'accomplissement des désolations de Jérusalem, était de soixante-dix années.
  
  3 Et je tournai ma face vers le Seigneur Dieu, pour le rechercher par la prière et la supplication, dans le jeûne, et le sac de la cendre.
  
  4 Et je priai l'Éternel, mon Dieu, et je fis ma confession, et je dis : Je te supplie, Seigneur, le Dieu grand et terrible, qui gardes l'alliance et la bonté envers ceux qui t'aiment et qui gardent tes commandements !
  
  5 Nous avons péché, nous avons commis l'iniquité, nous avons agi méchamment, et nous nous sommes rebellés et nous nous sommes détournés de tes commandements et de tes ordonnances ;
  
  6 et nous n'avons pas écouté tes serviteurs les prophètes, qui parlaient en ton nom à nos rois, à nos princes, et à nos pères, et à tout le peuple du pays.
  
  7 A toi, Seigneur, la justice, et à nous la confusion de face, comme elle est aujourd'hui, -aux hommes de Juda et aux habitants de Jérusalem et à tout Israël, à ceux qui sont près et à ceux qui sont loin, dans tous les pays où tu les as chassés, à cause de leurs infidélités par lesquelles ils ont été infidèles envers toi.
  
  8 Seigneur, à nous la confusion de face, à nos rois, à nos princes, et à nos pères, parce que nous avons péché contre toi.
  
  9 Au Seigneur notre Dieu sont les compassions et les pardons, car nous nous sommes rebellés contre lui,
  
  10 et nous n'avons pas écouté la voix de l'Éternel, notre Dieu, pour marcher selon ses lois qu'il a mises devant nous par ses serviteurs les prophètes.
  
  11 Et tout Israël a transgressé ta loi et s'est détourné en n'écoutant pas ta voix. Alors ont été versés sur nous l'exécration et le serment qui sont écrits dans la loi de Moïse, serviteur de Dieu, parce que nous avons péché contre lui ;
  
  12 et il a accompli ses paroles qu'il a prononcées contre nous et contre nos juges qui nous jugeaient, en faisant venir sur nous un mal si grand que rien ne s'est fait sous tous les cieux comme ce qui a été fait à Jérusalem.
  
  13 Selon qu'il est écrit dans la loi de Moïse, tout ce mal est venu sur nous ; et nous n'avons pas imploré l'Éternel, notre Dieu, afin de revenir de nos iniquités et de comprendre ta vérité.
  
  14 Et l'Éternel a veillé sur le mal, et l'a fait venir sur nous ; car l'Éternel, notre Dieu, est juste dans toutes les oeuvres qu'il a faites ; et nous n'avons pas écouté sa voix.
  
  15 -Et maintenant, Seigneur, notre Dieu, toi qui as fait sortir ton peuple du pays d'Égypte à main forte, et qui t'es fait un nom, comme il paraît aujourd'hui : nous avons péché, nous avons agi méchamment !
  
  16 Seigneur, selon toutes tes justices, que ta colère et ta fureur se détournent, je te prie, de ta ville de Jérusalem, ta sainte montagne. Car à cause des iniquités de nos pères, Jérusalem et ton peuple sont en opprobre à tous ceux qui nous entourent.
  
  17 Et maintenant, écoute, ô notre Dieu, la prière de ton serviteur et ses supplications, et, pour l'amour du Seigneur, fais luire ta face sur ton sanctuaire désolé.
  
  18 Incline ton oreille, ô mon Dieu, et écoute ; ouvre tes yeux, et vois nos désolations, et la ville qui est appelée de ton nom. Car ce n'est pas à cause de nos justices que nous présentons devant toi nos supplications, mais à cause de tes grandes compassions.
  
  19 Seigneur, écoute ; Seigneur, pardonne ; Seigneur, sois attentif et agis ; ne tarde pas à cause de toi-même, mon Dieu ; car ta ville et ton peuple sont appelés de ton nom.
  
  20 Et je parlais encore, et je priais et confessais mon péché et le péché de mon peuple Israël, et je présentais ma supplication devant l'Éternel, mon Dieu, pour la sainte montagne de mon Dieu, -je parlais encore en priant,
  
  21 et l'homme Gabriel que j'avais vu dans la vision au commencement, volant avec rapidité, me toucha vers le temps de l'offrande de gâteau du soir.
  
  22 Et il me fit comprendre, et me parla, et dit : Daniel, je suis maintenant sorti pour éclairer ton intelligence.
  
  23 Au commencement de tes supplications la parole est sortie, et je suis venu pour te la déclarer, car tu es un bien-aimé. Comprends donc la parole, et sois intelligent dans la vision :
  
  24 soixante-dix semaines ont été déterminées sur ton peuple et sur ta sainte ville, pour clore la transgression, et pour en finir avec les péchés, et pour faire propitiation pour l'iniquité, et pour introduire la justice des siècles, et pour sceller la vision et le prophète, et pour oindre le saint des saints.
  
  25 Et sache, et comprends : Depuis la sortie de la parole pour rétablir et rebâtir Jérusalem, jusqu'au Messie, le prince, il y a sept semaines et soixante-deux semaines ; la place et le fossé seront rebâtis, et cela en des temps de trouble.
  
  26 Et après les soixante-deux semaines, le Messie sera retranché et n'aura rien ; et le peuple du prince qui viendra détruira la ville et le lieu saint, et la fin en sera avec débordement ; et jusqu'à la fin il y aura guerre, un décret de désolations.
  
  27 Et il confirmera une alliance avec la multitude pour une semaine ; et au milieu de la semaine il fera cesser le sacrifice et l'offrande ; et à cause de la protection des abominations il y aura un désolateur, et jusqu'à ce que la consomption et ce qui est décrété soient versés sur la désolée.
  
  1 Timothée 2
  
  1 J'exhorte donc, avant toutes choses, a ce qu'on fasse des supplications, des prières, des intercessions, des actions de grâces pour tous les hommes,
  
  2 pour les rois et pour tous ceux qui sont haut placés, afin que nous puissions mener une vie paisible et tranquille, en toute piété et honnêteté ;
  
  3 car cela est bon et agréable devant notre Dieu sauveur,
  
  4 qui veut que tous les hommes soient sauvés et viennent à la connaissance de la vérité ;
  
  5 car Dieu est un, et le médiateur entre Dieu et les hommes est un, l'homme Christ Jésus,
  
  6 qui s'est donné lui-même en rançon pour tous, témoignage qui devait être rendu en son propre temps,
  
  7 pour lequel moi, j'ai été établi prédicateur et apôtre (je dis la vérité, je mens pas), docteur des nations dans la foi et dans la vérité.
  
  8 Je veux donc que les hommes prient en tout lieu, élevant des mains saintes, sans colère et sans raisonnement.
  
  9 De même aussi, que les femmes se parent d'un costume décent, avec pudeur et modestie, non pas de tresses et d'or, ou de perles, ou d'habillement somptueux,
  
  10 par de bonnes oeuvres, ce qui sied à des femmes qui font profession de servir Dieu.
  
  11 Que la femme apprenne dans le silence, en toute soumission ;
  
  12 mais je ne permets pas à la femme d'enseigner ni d'user d'autorité sur l'homme ; mais elle doit demeurer dans le silence ;
  
  13 car Adam a été formé le premier, et puis Eve ;
  
  14 et Adam n'a pas été trompé ; mais la femme, ayant été trompée, est tombée dans la transgression ;
  
  15 mais elle sera sauvée en enfantant, si elles persévèrent dans la foi et l'amour et la sainteté, avec modestie.

  1 Now Naaman, captain of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honorable, because by him Yahweh had given victory to Syria: he was also a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.
  
  2 The Syrians had gone out in bands, and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maiden; and she waited on Naaman's wife.
  
  3 She said to her mistress, "I wish that my lord were with the prophet who is in Samaria! Then he would heal him of his leprosy."
  
  4 Someone went in, and told his lord, saying, "The maiden who is from the land of Israel said this."
  
  5 The king of Syria said, "Go now, and I will send a letter to the king of Israel." He departed, and took with him ten talents of silver, and six thousand pieces of gold, and ten changes of clothing.
  
  6 He brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, "Now when this letter has come to you, behold, I have sent Naaman my servant to you, that you may heal him of his leprosy."
  
  7 It happened, when the king of Israel had read the letter, that he tore his clothes, and said, "Am I God, to kill and to make alive, that this man sends to me to heal a man of his leprosy? But please consider and see how he seeks a quarrel against me."
  
  8 It was so, when Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his clothes, that he sent to the king, saying, "Why have you torn your clothes? Let him come now to me, and he shall know that there is a prophet in Israel."
  
  9 So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariots, and stood at the door of the house of Elisha.
  
  10 Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall come again to you, and you shall be clean."
  
  11 But Naaman was angry, and went away, and said, "Behold, I thought, 'He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of Yahweh his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leper.'
  
  12 Aren't Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn't I wash in them, and be clean?" So he turned and went away in a rage.
  
  13 His servants came near, and spoke to him, and said, "My father, if the prophet had asked you do some great thing, wouldn't you have done it? How much rather then, when he says to you, 'Wash, and be clean?'"
  
  14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.
  
  15 He returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him; and he said, "See now, I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel. Now therefore, please take a gift from your servant."
  
  16 But he said, "As Yahweh lives, before whom I stand, I will receive none." He urged him to take it; but he refused.
  
  17 Naaman said, "If not, then, please let two mules' burden of earth be given to your servant; for your servant will from now on offer neither burnt offering nor sacrifice to other gods, but to Yahweh.
  
  18 In this thing may Yahweh pardon your servant: when my master goes into the house of Rimmon to worship there, and he leans on my hand, and I bow myself in the house of Rimmon. When I bow myself in the house of Rimmon, may Yahweh pardon your servant in this thing."
  
  19 He said to him, "Go in peace." So he departed from him a little way.
  
  20 But Gehazi the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, "Behold, my master has spared this Naaman the Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought. As Yahweh lives, I will run after him, and take something from him."
  
  21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. When Naaman saw one running after him, he came down from the chariot to meet him, and said, "Is all well?"
  
  22 He said, "All is well. My master has sent me, saying, 'Behold, even now two young men of the sons of the prophets have come to me from the hill country of Ephraim. Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothing.'"
  
  23 Naaman said, "Be pleased to take two talents." He urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and laid them on two of his servants; and they carried them before him.
  
  24 When he came to the hill, he took them from their hand, and stored them in the house. Then he let the men go, and they departed.
  
  25 But he went in, and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, "Where did you come from, Gehazi?" He said, "Your servant went nowhere."
  
  26 He said to him, "Didn't my heart go with you, when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive groves and vineyards, and sheep and cattle, and male servants and female servants?
  
  27 Therefore the leprosy of Naaman will cling to you and to your seed forever." He went out from his presence a leper, as white as snow.
  
  Daniel 9
  
  1 In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans,
  
  2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years about which the word of Yahweh came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishing of the desolations of Jerusalem, even seventy years.
  
  3 I set my face to the Lord God, to seek by prayer and petitions, with fasting and sackcloth and ashes.
  
  4 I prayed to Yahweh my God, and made confession, and said, Oh, Lord, the great and dreadful God, who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments,
  
  5 we have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from your precepts and from your ordinances;
  
  6 neither have we listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
  
  7 Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but to us confusion of face, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, who are near, and who are far off, through all the countries where you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.
  
  8 Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against you.
  
  9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness; for we have rebelled against him;
  
  10 neither have we obeyed the voice of Yahweh our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.
  
  11 Yes, all Israel have transgressed your law, turning aside, that they should not obey your voice: therefore the curse and the oath written in the law of Moses the servant of God has been poured out on us; for we have sinned against him.
  
  12 He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us, and against our judges who judged us, by bringing on us a great evil; for under the whole sky, such has not been done as has been done to Jerusalem.
  
  13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil has come on us: yet have we not entreated the favor of Yahweh our God, that we should turn from our iniquities, and have discernment in your truth.
  
  14 Therefore has Yahweh watched over the evil, and brought it on us; for Yahweh our God is righteous in all his works which he does, and we have not obeyed his voice.
  
  15 Now, Lord our God, who has brought your people forth out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have gotten yourself renown, as at this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
  
  16 Lord, according to all your righteousness, let your anger and please let your wrath be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a reproach to all who are around us.
  
  17 Now therefore, our God, listen to the prayer of your servant, and to his petitions, and cause your face to shine on your sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.
  
  18 My God, turn your ear, and hear; open your eyes, and see our desolations, and the city which is called by your name: for we do not present our petitions before you for our righteousness, but for your great mercies' sake.
  
  19 Lord, hear; Lord, forgive; Lord, listen and do; don't defer, for your own sake, my God, because your city and your people are called by your name.
  
  20 While I was speaking, and praying, and confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my supplication before Yahweh my God for the holy mountain of my God;
  
  21 yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening offering.
  
  22 He instructed me, and talked with me, and said, Daniel, I am now come forth to give you wisdom and understanding.
  
  23 At the beginning of your petitions the commandment went forth, and I have come to tell you; for you are greatly beloved: therefore consider the matter, and understand the vision.
  
  24 Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.
  
  25 Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks: it shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times.
  
  26 After the sixty-two weeks the Anointed One shall be cut off, and shall have nothing: and the people of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and its end shall be with a flood, and even to the end shall be war; desolations are determined.
  
  27 He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and on the wing of abominations [shall come] one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, shall [wrath] be poured out on the desolate.
  
  1 Timothée 2
  
  1 I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men:
  
  2 for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence.
  
  3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;
  
  4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.
  
  5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
  
  6 who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times;
  
  7 to which I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth in Christ, not lying), a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
  
  8 I desire therefore that the men in every place pray, lifting up holy hands without anger and doubting.
  
  9 In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing;
  
  10 but (which becomes women professing godliness) with good works.
  
  11 Let a woman learn in quietness with all subjection.
  
  12 But I don't permit a woman to teach, nor to exercise authority over a man, but to be in quietness.
  
  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
  
  14 Adam wasn't deceived, but the woman, being deceived, has fallen into disobedience;
  
  15 but she will be saved through her childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and sanctification with sobriety.

  1 וְ֠נַעֲמָן שַׂר־צְבָ֨א מֶֽלֶךְ־אֲרָ֜ם הָיָ֣ה אִישׁ֩ גָּד֨וֹל לִפְנֵ֤י אֲדֹנָיו֙ וּנְשֻׂ֣א פָנִ֔ים כִּֽי־ב֛וֹ נָֽתַן־יְהוָ֥ה תְּשׁוּעָ֖ה לַאֲרָ֑ם וְהָאִ֗ישׁ הָיָ֛ה גִּבּ֥וֹר חַ֖יִל מְצֹרָֽע׃
  
  2 וַאֲרָם֙ יָצְא֣וּ גְדוּדִ֔ים וַיִּשְׁבּ֛וּ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל נַעֲרָ֣ה קְטַנָּ֑ה וַתְּהִ֕י לִפְנֵ֖י אֵ֥שֶׁת נַעֲמָֽן׃
  
  3 וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־גְּבִרְתָּ֔הּ אַחֲלֵ֣י אֲדֹנִ֔י לִפְנֵ֥י הַנָּבִ֖יא אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּשֹׁמְר֑וֹן אָ֛ז יֶאֱסֹ֥ף אֹת֖וֹ מִצָּרַעְתּֽוֹ׃
  
  4 וַיָּבֹ֕א וַיַּגֵּ֥ד לַאדֹנָ֖יו לֵאמֹ֑ר כָּזֹ֤את וְכָזֹאת֙ דִּבְּרָ֣ה הַֽנַּעֲרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר מֵאֶ֥רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  5 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר מֶֽלֶךְ־אֲרָם֙ לֶךְ־בֹּ֔א וְאֶשְׁלְחָ֥ה סֵ֖פֶר אֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֵּלֶךְ֩ וַיִּקַּ֨ח בְּיָד֜וֹ עֶ֣שֶׂר כִּכְּרֵי־כֶ֗סֶף וְשֵׁ֤שֶׁת אֲלָפִים֙ זָהָ֔ב וְעֶ֖שֶׂר חֲלִיפ֥וֹת בְּגָדִֽים׃
  
  6 וַיָּבֵ֣א הַסֵּ֔פֶר אֶל־מֶ֥לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר וְעַתָּ֗ה כְּב֨וֹא הַסֵּ֤פֶר הַזֶּה֙ אֵלֶ֔יךָ הִנֵּ֨ה שָׁלַ֤חְתִּי אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ אֶת־נַעֲמָ֣ן עַבְדִּ֔י וַאֲסַפְתּ֖וֹ מִצָּרַעְתּֽוֹ׃
  
  7 וַיְהִ֡י כִּקְרֹא֩ מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל אֶת־הַסֵּ֜פֶר וַיִּקְרַ֣ע בְּגָדָ֗יו וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הַאֱלֹהִ֥ים אָ֙נִי֙ לְהָמִ֣ית וּֽלְהַחֲי֔וֹת כִּֽי־זֶה֙ שֹׁלֵ֣חַ אֵלַ֔י לֶאֱסֹ֥ף אִ֖ישׁ מִצָּֽרַעְתּ֑וֹ כִּ֤י אַךְ־דְּעֽוּ־נָא֙ וּרְא֔וּ כִּֽי־מִתְאַנֶּ֥ה ה֖וּא לִֽי׃
  
  8 וַיְהִ֞י כִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ ׀ אֱלִישָׁ֣ע אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים כִּֽי־קָרַ֤ע מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ לֵאמֹ֔ר לָ֥מָּה קָרַ֖עְתָּ בְּגָדֶ֑יךָ יָבֹֽא־נָ֣א אֵלַ֔י וְיֵדַ֕ע כִּ֛י יֵ֥שׁ נָבִ֖יא בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  9 וַיָּבֹ֥א נַעֲמָ֖ן *בסוסו **בְּסוּסָ֣יו וּבְרִכְבּ֑וֹ וַיַּעֲמֹ֥ד פֶּֽתַח־הַבַּ֖יִת לֶאֱלִישָֽׁע׃
  
  10 וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח אֵלָ֛יו אֱלִישָׁ֖ע מַלְאָ֣ךְ לֵאמֹ֑ר הָל֗וֹךְ וְרָחַצְתָּ֤ שֶֽׁבַע־פְּעָמִים֙ בַּיַּרְדֵּ֔ן וְיָשֹׁ֧ב בְּשָׂרְךָ֛ לְךָ֖ וּטְהָֽר׃
  
  11 וַיִּקְצֹ֥ף נַעֲמָ֖ן וַיֵּלַ֑ךְ וַיֹּאמֶר֩ הִנֵּ֨ה אָמַ֜רְתִּי אֵלַ֣י ׀ יֵצֵ֣א יָצ֗וֹא וְעָמַד֙ וְקָרָא֙ בְּשֵׁם־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֔יו וְהֵנִ֥יף יָד֛וֹ אֶל־הַמָּק֖וֹם וְאָסַ֥ף הַמְּצֹרָֽע׃
  
  12 הֲלֹ֡א טוֹב֩ *אבנה **אֲמָנָ֨ה וּפַרְפַּ֜ר נַהֲר֣וֹת דַּמֶּ֗שֶׂק מִכֹּל֙ מֵימֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הֲלֹֽא־אֶרְחַ֥ץ בָּהֶ֖ם וְטָהָ֑רְתִּי וַיִּ֖פֶן וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ בְּחֵמָֽה׃
  
  13 וַיִּגְּשׁ֣וּ עֲבָדָיו֮ וַיְדַבְּר֣וּ אֵלָיו֒ וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ אָבִי֙ דָּבָ֣ר גָּד֗וֹל הַנָּבִ֛יא דִּבֶּ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יךָ הֲל֣וֹא תַעֲשֶׂ֑ה וְאַ֛ף כִּֽי־אָמַ֥ר אֵלֶ֖יךָ רְחַ֥ץ וּטְהָֽר׃
  
  14 וַיֵּ֗רֶד וַיִּטְבֹּ֤ל בַּיַּרְדֵּן֙ שֶׁ֣בַע פְּעָמִ֔ים כִּדְבַ֖ר אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיָּ֣שָׁב בְּשָׂר֗וֹ כִּבְשַׂ֛ר נַ֥עַר קָטֹ֖ן וַיִּטְהָֽר׃
  
  15 וַיָּשָׁב֩ אֶל־אִ֨ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֜ים ה֣וּא וְכָֽל־מַחֲנֵ֗הוּ וַיָּבֹא֮ וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד לְפָנָיו֒ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הִנֵּה־נָ֤א יָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ כִּ֣י אֵ֤ין אֱלֹהִים֙ בְּכָל־הָאָ֔רֶץ כִּ֖י אִם־בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְעַתָּ֛ה קַח־נָ֥א בְרָכָ֖ה מֵאֵ֥ת עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃
  
  16 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר חַי־יְהוָ֛ה אֲשֶׁר־עָמַ֥דְתִּי לְפָנָ֖יו אִם־אֶקָּ֑ח וַיִּפְצַר־בּ֥וֹ לָקַ֖חַת וַיְמָאֵֽן׃
  
  17 וַיֹּאמֶר֮ נַעֲמָן֒ וָלֹ֕א יֻתַּן־נָ֣א לְעַבְדְּךָ֔ מַשָּׂ֥א צֶֽמֶד־פְּרָדִ֖ים אֲדָמָ֑ה כִּ֡י לֽוֹא־יַעֲשֶׂה֩ ע֨וֹד עַבְדְּךָ֜ עֹלָ֤ה וָזֶ֙בַח֙ לֵאלֹהִ֣ים אֲחֵרִ֔ים כִּ֖י אִם־לַיהוָֽה׃
  
  18 לַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה יִסְלַ֥ח יְהוָ֖ה לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ בְּב֣וֹא אֲדֹנִ֣י בֵית־רִמּוֹן֩ לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺ֨ת שָׁ֜מָּה וְה֣וּא ׀ נִשְׁעָ֣ן עַל־יָדִ֗י וְהִֽשְׁתַּחֲוֵ֙יתִי֙ בֵּ֣ית רִמֹּ֔ן בְּהִשְׁתַּחֲוָיָ֙תִי֙ בֵּ֣ית רִמֹּ֔ן יִסְלַח־*נא יְהוָ֥ה לְעַבְדְּךָ֖ בַּדָּבָ֥ר הַזֶּֽה׃
  
  19 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר ל֖וֹ לֵ֣ךְ לְשָׁל֑וֹם וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ מֵאִתּ֖וֹ כִּבְרַת־אָֽרֶץ׃
  
  20 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר גֵּיחֲזִ֗י נַעַר֮ אֱלִישָׁ֣ע אִישׁ־הָאֱלֹהִים֒ הִנֵּ֣ה ׀ חָשַׂ֣ךְ אֲדֹנִ֗י אֶֽת־נַעֲמָ֤ן הָֽאֲרַמִּי֙ הַזֶּ֔ה מִקַּ֥חַת מִיָּד֖וֹ אֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר־הֵבִ֑יא חַי־יְהוָה֙ כִּֽי־אִם־רַ֣צְתִּי אַחֲרָ֔יו וְלָקַחְתִּ֥י מֵאִתּ֖וֹ מְאֽוּמָה׃
  
  21 וַיִּרְדֹּ֥ף גֵּיחֲזִ֖י אַחֲרֵ֣י נַֽעֲמָ֑ן וַיִּרְאֶ֤ה נַֽעֲמָן֙ רָ֣ץ אַחֲרָ֔יו וַיִּפֹּ֞ל מֵעַ֧ל הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֛ה לִקְרָאת֖וֹ וַיֹּ֥אמֶר הֲשָׁלֽוֹם׃
  
  22 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ׀ שָׁל֗וֹם אֲדֹנִי֮ שְׁלָחַ֣נִי לֵאמֹר֒ הִנֵּ֣ה עַתָּ֡ה זֶ֠ה בָּ֣אוּ אֵלַ֧י שְׁנֵֽי־נְעָרִ֛ים מֵהַ֥ר אֶפְרַ֖יִם מִבְּנֵ֣י הַנְּבִיאִ֑ים תְּנָה־נָּ֤א לָהֶם֙ כִּכַּר־כֶּ֔סֶף וּשְׁתֵּ֖י חֲלִפ֥וֹת בְּגָדִֽים׃
  
  23 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר נַעֲמָ֔ן הוֹאֵ֖ל קַ֣ח כִּכָּרָ֑יִם וַיִּפְרָץ־בּ֗וֹ וַיָּצַר֩ כִּכְּרַ֨יִם כֶּ֜סֶף בִּשְׁנֵ֣י חֲרִטִ֗ים וּשְׁתֵּי֙ חֲלִפ֣וֹת בְּגָדִ֔ים וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶל־שְׁנֵ֣י נְעָרָ֔יו וַיִּשְׂא֖וּ לְפָנָֽיו׃
  
  24 וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־הָעֹ֔פֶל וַיִּקַּ֥ח מִיָּדָ֖ם וַיִּפְקֹ֣ד בַּבָּ֑יִת וַיְשַׁלַּ֥ח אֶת־הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים וַיֵּלֵֽכוּ׃
  
  25 וְהוּא־בָא֙ וַיַּעֲמֹ֣ד אֶל־אֲדֹנָ֔יו וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ אֱלִישָׁ֔ע *מאן **מֵאַ֖יִן גֵּחֲזִ֑י וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לֹֽא־הָלַ֥ךְ עַבְדְּךָ֖ אָ֥נֶה וָאָֽנָה׃
  
  26 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלָיו֙ לֹא־לִבִּ֣י הָלַ֔ךְ כַּאֲשֶׁ֧ר הָֽפַךְ־אִ֛ישׁ מֵעַ֥ל מֶרְכַּבְתּ֖וֹ לִקְרָאתֶ֑ךָ הַעֵ֞ת לָקַ֤חַת אֶת־הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ וְלָקַ֣חַת בְּגָדִ֔ים וְזֵיתִ֤ים וּכְרָמִים֙ וְצֹ֣אן וּבָקָ֔ר וַעֲבָדִ֖ים וּשְׁפָחֽוֹת׃
  
  27 וְצָרַ֤עַת נַֽעֲמָן֙ תִּֽדְבַּק־בְּךָ֔ וּֽבְזַרְעֲךָ לְעוֹלָ֑ם וַיֵּצֵ֥א מִלְּפָנָ֖יו מְצֹרָ֥ע כַּשָּֽׁלֶג׃

  1 בִּשְׁנַ֣ת אַחַ֗ת לְדָרְיָ֛וֶשׁ בֶּן־אֲחַשְׁוֵר֖וֹשׁ מִזֶּ֣רַע מָדָ֑י אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָמְלַ֔ךְ עַ֖ל מַלְכ֥וּת כַּשְׂדִּֽים׃
  
  2 בִּשְׁנַ֤ת אַחַת֙ לְמָלְכ֔וֹ אֲנִי֙ דָּֽנִיֵּ֔אל בִּינֹ֖תִי בַּסְּפָרִ֑ים מִסְפַּ֣ר הַשָּׁנִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר הָיָ֤ה דְבַר־יְהוָה֙ אֶל־יִרְמִיָ֣ה הַנָּבִ֔יא לְמַלֹּ֛אות לְחָרְב֥וֹת יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם שִׁבְעִ֥ים שָׁנָֽה׃
  
  3 וָאֶתְּנָ֣ה אֶת־פָּנַ֗י אֶל־אֲדֹנָי֙ הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים לְבַקֵּ֥שׁ תְּפִלָּ֖ה וְתַחֲנוּנִ֑ים בְּצ֖וֹם וְשַׂ֥ק וָאֵֽפֶר׃
  
  4 וָֽאֶתְפַּֽלְלָ֛ה לַיהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהַ֖י וָאֶתְוַדֶּ֑ה וָאֹֽמְרָ֗ה אָנָּ֤א אֲדֹנָי֙ הָאֵ֤ל הַגָּדוֹל֙ וְהַנּוֹרָ֔א שֹׁמֵ֤ר הַבְּרִית֙ וְֽהַחֶ֔סֶד לְאֹהֲבָ֖יו וּלְשֹׁמְרֵ֥י מִצְוֺתָֽיו׃
  
  5 חָטָ֥אנוּ וְעָוִ֖ינוּ *והרשענו **הִרְשַׁ֣עְנוּ וּמָרָ֑דְנוּ וְס֥וֹר מִמִּצְוֺתֶ֖ךָ וּמִמִּשְׁפָּטֶֽיךָ׃
  
  6 וְלֹ֤א שָׁמַ֙עְנוּ֙ אֶל־עֲבָדֶ֣יךָ הַנְּבִיאִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר דִּבְּרוּ֙ בְּשִׁמְךָ֔ אֶל־מְלָכֵ֥ינוּ שָׂרֵ֖ינוּ וַאֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ וְאֶ֖ל כָּל־עַ֥ם הָאָֽרֶץ׃
  
  7 לְךָ֤ אֲדֹנָי֙ הַצְּדָקָ֔ה וְלָ֛נוּ בֹּ֥שֶׁת הַפָּנִ֖ים כַּיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה לְאִ֤ישׁ יְהוּדָה֙ וּלְיוֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֔ם וּֽלְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֞ל הַקְּרֹבִ֣ים וְהָרְחֹקִ֗ים בְּכָל־הָֽאֲרָצוֹת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הִדַּחְתָּ֣ם שָׁ֔ם בְּמַעֲלָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר מָֽעֲלוּ־בָֽךְ׃
  
  8 יְהוָ֗ה לָ֚נוּ בֹּ֣שֶׁת הַפָּנִ֔ים לִמְלָכֵ֥ינוּ לְשָׂרֵ֖ינוּ וְלַאֲבֹתֵ֑ינוּ אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖אנוּ לָֽךְ׃
  
  9 לַֽאדֹנָ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ הָרַחֲמִ֖ים וְהַסְּלִח֑וֹת כִּ֥י מָרַ֖דְנוּ בּֽוֹ׃
  
  10 וְלֹ֣א שָׁמַ֔עְנוּ בְּק֖וֹל יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ לָלֶ֤כֶת בְּתֽוֹרֹתָיו֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַ֣ן לְפָנֵ֔ינוּ בְּיַ֖ד עֲבָדָ֥יו הַנְּבִיאִֽים׃
  
  11 וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל עָֽבְרוּ֙ אֶת־תּ֣וֹרָתֶ֔ךָ וְס֕וֹר לְבִלְתִּ֖י שְׁמ֣וֹעַ בְּקֹלֶ֑ךָ וַתִּתַּ֨ךְ עָלֵ֜ינוּ הָאָלָ֣ה וְהַשְּׁבֻעָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר כְּתוּבָה֙ בְּתוֹרַת֙ מֹשֶׁ֣ה עֶֽבֶד־הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים כִּ֥י חָטָ֖אנוּ לֽוֹ׃
  
  12 וַיָּ֜קֶם אֶת־*דבריו **דְּבָר֣וֹ ׀ אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֣ר עָלֵ֗ינוּ וְעַ֤ל שֹֽׁפְטֵ֙ינוּ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר שְׁפָט֔וּנוּ לְהָבִ֥יא עָלֵ֖ינוּ רָעָ֣ה גְדֹלָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־נֶעֶשְׂתָ֗ה תַּ֚חַת כָּל־הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר נֶעֶשְׂתָ֖ה בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
  
  13 כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר כָּתוּב֙ בְּתוֹרַ֣ת מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֵ֛ת כָּל־הָרָעָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את בָּ֣אָה עָלֵ֑ינוּ וְלֹֽא־חִלִּ֜ינוּ אֶת־פְּנֵ֣י ׀ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ לָשׁוּב֙ מֵֽעֲוֺנֵ֔נוּ וּלְהַשְׂכִּ֖יל בַּאֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃
  
  14 וַיִּשְׁקֹ֤ד יְהוָה֙ עַל־הָ֣רָעָ֔ה וַיְבִיאֶ֖הָ עָלֵ֑ינוּ כִּֽי־צַדִּ֞יק יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ עַל־כָּל־מַֽעֲשָׂיו֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֔ה וְלֹ֥א שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ בְּקֹלֽוֹ׃
  
  15 וְעַתָּ֣ה ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ אֲשֶׁר֩ הוֹצֵ֨אתָ אֶֽת־עַמְּךָ֜ מֵאֶ֤רֶץ מִצְרַ֙יִם֙ בְּיָ֣ד חֲזָקָ֔ה וַתַּֽעַשׂ־לְךָ֥ שֵׁ֖ם כַּיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֑ה חָטָ֖אנוּ רָשָֽׁעְנוּ׃
  
  16 אֲדֹנָ֗י כְּכָל־צִדְקֹתֶ֙ךָ֙ יָֽשָׁב־נָ֤א אַפְּךָ֙ וַחֲמָ֣תְךָ֔ מֵעִֽירְךָ֥ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם הַר־קָדְשֶׁ֑ךָ כִּ֤י בַחֲטָאֵ֙ינוּ֙ וּבַעֲוֺנ֣וֹת אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֧ם וְעַמְּךָ֛ לְחֶרְפָּ֖ה לְכָל־סְבִיבֹתֵֽינוּ׃
  
  17 וְעַתָּ֣ה ׀ שְׁמַ֣ע אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ אֶל־תְּפִלַּ֤ת עַבְדְּךָ֙ וְאֶל־תַּ֣חֲנוּנָ֔יו וְהָאֵ֣ר פָּנֶ֔יךָ עַל־מִקְדָּשְׁךָ֖ הַשָּׁמֵ֑ם לְמַ֖עַן אֲדֹנָֽי׃
  
  18 הַטֵּ֨ה אֱלֹהַ֥י ׀ אָזְנְךָ֮ וּֽשֲׁמָע֒ *פקחה **פְּקַ֣ח עֵינֶ֗יךָ וּרְאֵה֙ שֹֽׁמְמֹתֵ֔ינוּ וְהָעִ֕יר אֲשֶׁר־נִקְרָ֥א שִׁמְךָ֖ עָלֶ֑יהָ כִּ֣י ׀ לֹ֣א עַל־צִדְקֹתֵ֗ינוּ אֲנַ֨חְנוּ מַפִּילִ֤ים תַּחֲנוּנֵ֙ינוּ֙ לְפָנֶ֔יךָ כִּ֖י עַל־רַחֲמֶ֥יךָ הָרַבִּֽים׃
  
  19 אֲדֹנָ֤י ׀ שְׁמָ֙עָה֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י ׀ סְלָ֔חָה אֲדֹנָ֛י הַֽקֲשִׁ֥יבָה וַעֲשֵׂ֖ה אַל־תְּאַחַ֑ר לְמַֽעֲנְךָ֣ אֱלֹהַ֔י כִּֽי־שִׁמְךָ֣ נִקְרָ֔א עַל־עִירְךָ֖ וְעַל־עַמֶּֽךָ׃
  
  20 וְע֨וֹד אֲנִ֤י מְדַבֵּר֙ וּמִתְפַּלֵּ֔ל וּמִתְוַדֶּה֙ חַטָּאתִ֔י וְחַטַּ֖את עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּמַפִּ֣יל תְּחִנָּתִ֗י לִפְנֵי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֔י עַ֖ל הַר־קֹ֥דֶשׁ אֱלֹהָֽי׃
  
  21 וְע֛וֹד אֲנִ֥י מְדַבֵּ֖ר בַּתְּפִלָּ֑ה וְהָאִ֣ישׁ גַּבְרִיאֵ֡ל אֲשֶׁר֩ רָאִ֨יתִי בֶחָז֤וֹן בַּתְּחִלָּה֙ מֻעָ֣ף בִּיעָ֔ף נֹגֵ֣עַ אֵלַ֔י כְּעֵ֖ת מִנְחַת־עָֽרֶב׃
  
  22 וַיָּ֖בֶן וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר עִמִּ֑י וַיֹּאמַ֕ר דָּנִיֵּ֕אל עַתָּ֥ה יָצָ֖אתִי לְהַשְׂכִּילְךָ֥ בִינָֽה׃
  
  23 בִּתְחִלַּ֨ת תַּחֲנוּנֶ֜יךָ יָצָ֣א דָבָ֗ר וַאֲנִי֙ בָּ֣אתִי לְהַגִּ֔יד כִּ֥י חֲמוּד֖וֹת אָ֑תָּה וּבִין֙ בַּדָּבָ֔ר וְהָבֵ֖ן בַּמַּרְאֶֽה׃
  
  24 שָׁבֻעִ֨ים שִׁבְעִ֜ים נֶחְתַּ֥ךְ עַֽל־עַמְּךָ֣ ׀ וְעַל־עִ֣יר קָדְשֶׁ֗ךָ לְכַלֵּ֨א הַפֶּ֜שַׁע *ולחתם **וּלְהָתֵ֤ם *חטאות **חַטָּאת֙ וּלְכַפֵּ֣ר עָוֺ֔ן וּלְהָבִ֖יא צֶ֣דֶק עֹֽלָמִ֑ים וְלַחְתֹּם֙ חָז֣וֹן וְנָבִ֔יא וְלִמְשֹׁ֖חַ קֹ֥דֶשׁ קָֽדָשִֽׁים׃
  
  25 וְתֵדַ֨ע וְתַשְׂכֵּ֜ל מִן־מֹצָ֣א דָבָ֗ר לְהָשִׁיב֙ וְלִבְנ֤וֹת יְרֽוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ עַד־מָשִׁ֣יחַ נָגִ֔יד שָׁבֻעִ֖ים שִׁבְעָ֑ה וְשָׁבֻעִ֞ים שִׁשִּׁ֣ים וּשְׁנַ֗יִם תָּשׁוּב֙ וְנִבְנְתָה֙ רְח֣וֹב וְחָר֔וּץ וּבְצ֖וֹק הָעִתִּֽים׃
  
  26 וְאַחֲרֵ֤י הַשָּׁבֻעִים֙ שִׁשִּׁ֣ים וּשְׁנַ֔יִם יִכָּרֵ֥ת מָשִׁ֖יחַ וְאֵ֣ין ל֑וֹ וְהָעִ֨יר וְהַקֹּ֜דֶשׁ יַ֠שְׁחִית עַ֣ם נָגִ֤יד הַבָּא֙ וְקִצּ֣וֹ בַשֶּׁ֔טֶף וְעַד֙ קֵ֣ץ מִלְחָמָ֔ה נֶחֱרֶ֖צֶת שֹׁמֵמֽוֹת׃
  
  27 וְהִגְבִּ֥יר בְּרִ֛ית לָרַבִּ֖ים שָׁב֣וּעַ אֶחָ֑ד וַחֲצִ֨י הַשָּׁב֜וּעַ יַשְׁבִּ֣ית ׀ זֶ֣בַח וּמִנְחָ֗ה וְעַ֨ל כְּנַ֤ף שִׁקּוּצִים֙ מְשֹׁמֵ֔ם וְעַד־כָּלָה֙ וְנֶ֣חֱרָצָ֔ה תִּתַּ֖ךְ עַל־שֹׁמֵֽם׃

  1 Παρακαλῶ οὖν πρῶτον πάντων ποιεῖσθαι δεήσεις, προσευχάς, ἐντεύξεις, εὐχαριστίας, ὑπὲρ πάντων ἀνθρώπων,
  
  2 ὑπὲρ βασιλέων καὶ πάντων τῶν ἐν ὑπεροχῇ ὄντων, ἵνα ἤρεμον καὶ ἡσύχιον βίον διάγωμεν ἐν πάσῃ εὐσεβείᾳ καὶ σεμνότητι.
  
  3 τοῦτο καλὸν καὶ ἀπόδεκτον ἐνώπιον τοῦ σωτῆρος ἡμῶν θεοῦ,
  
  4 ὃς πάντας ἀνθρώπους θέλει σωθῆναι καὶ εἰς ἐπίγνωσιν ἀληθείας ἐλθεῖν.
  
  5 εἷς γὰρ θεός, εἷς καὶ μεσίτης θεοῦ καὶ ἀνθρώπων ἄνθρωπος Χριστὸς Ἰησοῦς,
  
  6 ὁ δοὺς ἑαυτὸν ἀντίλυτρον ὑπὲρ πάντων, τὸ μαρτύριον καιροῖς ἰδίοις·
  
  7 εἰς ὃ ἐτέθην ἐγὼ κῆρυξ καὶ ἀπόστολος—ἀλήθειαν λέγω, οὐ ψεύδομαι— διδάσκαλος ἐθνῶν ἐν πίστει καὶ ἀληθείᾳ.
  
  8 Βούλομαι οὖν προσεύχεσθαι τοὺς ἄνδρας ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ, ἐπαίροντας ὁσίους χεῖρας χωρὶς ὀργῆς καὶ διαλογισμοῦ.
  
  9 ὡσαύτως καὶ γυναῖκας ἐν καταστολῇ κοσμίῳ μετὰ αἰδοῦς καὶ σωφροσύνης κοσμεῖν ἑαυτάς, μὴ ἐν πλέγμασιν καὶ χρυσίῳ ἢ μαργαρίταις ἢ ἱματισμῷ πολυτελεῖ,
  
  10 ἀλλ’ ὃ πρέπει γυναιξὶν ἐπαγγελλομέναις θεοσέβειαν, δι’ ἔργων ἀγαθῶν.
  
  11 γυνὴ ἐν ἡσυχίᾳ μανθανέτω ἐν πάσῃ ὑποταγῇ·
  
  12 διδάσκειν δὲ γυναικὶ οὐκ ἐπιτρέπω, οὐδὲ αὐθεντεῖν ἀνδρός, ἀλλ’ εἶναι ἐν ἡσυχίᾳ.
  
  13 Ἀδὰμ γὰρ πρῶτος ἐπλάσθη, εἶτα Εὕα·
  
  14 καὶ Ἀδὰμ οὐκ ἠπατήθη, ἡ δὲ γυνὴ ἐξαπατηθεῖσα ἐν παραβάσει γέγονεν.
  
  15 σωθήσεται δὲ διὰ τῆς τεκνογονίας, ἐὰν μείνωσιν ἐν πίστει καὶ ἀγάπῃ καὶ ἁγιασμῷ μετὰ σωφροσύνης.
