- Lévitique 8
  
  1 Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse, disant :
  
  2 Prends Aaron et ses fils avec lui, et les vêtements, et l'huile de l'onction, et le jeune taureau du sacrifice pour le péché, et les deux béliers, et la corbeille des pains sans levain ;
  
  3 et convoque toute l'assemblée à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.
  
  4 Et Moïse fit comme l'Éternel lui avait commandé, et l'assemblée fut convoquée à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation.
  
  5 Et Moïse dit à l'assemblée : C'est ici ce que l'Éternel a commandé de faire.
  
  6 Et Moïse fit approcher Aaron et ses fils, et les lava avec de l'eau ;
  
  7 et il mit sur lui la tunique, et le ceignit avec la ceinture, et le revêtit de la robe, et mit sur lui l'éphod, et le ceignit avec la ceinture de l'éphod, qu'il lia par elle sur lui ;
  
  8 et il plaça sur lui le pectoral, et mit sur le pectoral les urim et les thummim ;
  
  9 et il plaça la tiare sur sa tête, et, sur la tiare, sur le devant, il plaça la lame d'or, le saint diadème, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.
  
  10 Et Moïse prit l'huile de l'onction, et oignit le tabernacle et toutes les choses qui y étaient, et les sanctifia ;
  
  11 et il en fit aspersion sur l'autel sept fois, et il oignit l'autel, et tous ses ustensiles, et la cuve et son soubassement, pour les sanctifier ;
  
  12 et il versa de l'huile de l'onction sur la tête d'Aaron, et l'oignit, pour le sanctifier.
  
  13 Et Moïse fit approcher les fils d'Aaron, et les revêtit des tuniques, et les ceignit de la ceinture, et leur attacha les bonnets, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.
  
  14 Et il fit approcher le taureau du sacrifice pour le péché, et Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur la tête du taureau du sacrifice pour le péché ;
  
  15 et on l'égorgea, et Moïse prit le sang, et en mit avec son doigt sur les cornes de l'autel, tout autour, et il purifia l'autel ; et il versa le sang au pied de l'autel et le sanctifia, faisant propitiation pour lui.
  
  16 Et il prit toute la graisse qui était sur l'intérieur, et le réseau du foie, et les deux rognons, et leur graisse, et Moïse les fit fumer sur l'autel.
  
  17 Et le taureau, et sa peau, et sa chair, et sa fiente, il les brûla au feu, hors du camp, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.
  
  18 Et il fit approcher le bélier de l'holocauste, et Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur la tête du bélier ;
  
  19 et on l'égorgea, et Moïse fit aspersion du sang sur l'autel, tout autour ;
  
  20 on coupa le bélier en morceaux, et Moïse en fit fumer la tête, et les morceaux, et la graisse ;
  
  21 et on lava avec de l'eau l'intérieur et les jambes, et Moïse fit fumer tout le bélier sur l'autel : ce fut un holocauste en odeur agréable, ce fut un sacrifice par feu à l'Éternel, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.
  
  22 Et il fit approcher le second bélier, le bélier de consécration ; et Aaron et ses fils posèrent leurs mains sur la tête du bélier ;
  
  23 et on l'égorgea, et Moïse prit de son sang, et le mit sur le lobe de l'oreille droite d'Aaron, et sur le pouce de sa main droite, et sur le gros orteil de son pied droit ;
  
  24 et il fit approcher les fils d'Aaron, et Moïse mit du sang sur le lobe de leur oreille droite, et sur le pouce de leur main droite, et sur le gros orteil de leur pied droit ; et Moïse fit aspersion du sang sur l'autel, tout autour.
  
  25 Et il prit la graisse, et la queue, et toute la graisse qui était sur l'intérieur, et le réseau du foie, et les deux rognons et leur graisse, et l'épaule droite ;
  
  26 et il prit, de la corbeille des pains sans levain qui était devant l'Éternel, un gâteau sans levain, et un gâteau de pain à l'huile, et une galette, et les plaça sur les graisses et sur l'épaule droite ;
  
  27 et il mit le tout sur les paumes des mains d'Aaron et sur les paumes des mains de ses fils, et les tournoya comme offrande tournoyée devant l'Éternel.
  
  28 Et Moïse les prit des paumes de leurs mains, et les fit fumer sur l'autel sur l'holocauste : ce fut un sacrifice de consécration, en odeur agréable ; ce fut un sacrifice par feu à l'Éternel.
  
  29 Et Moïse prit la poitrine, et la tournoya comme offrande tournoyée devant l'Éternel ; ce fut, -du bélier de consécration, -la part de Moïse, comme l'Éternel l'avait commandé à Moïse.
  
  30 Et Moïse prit de l'huile de l'onction et du sang qui était sur l'autel, et il en fit aspersion sur Aaron, sur ses vêtements, et sur ses fils et sur les vêtements de ses fils avec lui : il sanctifia Aaron, ses vêtements, et ses fils et les vêtements de ses fils avec lui.
  
  31 Et Moïse dit à Aaron et à ses fils : Cuisez la chair à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, et vous la mangerez là, ainsi que le pain qui est dans la corbeille de consécration, comme j'ai commandé, en disant : Aaron et ses fils les mangeront.
  
  32 Et le reste de la chair et du pain, vous le brûlerez au feu.
  
  33 Et vous ne sortirez pas de l'entrée de la tente d'assignation pendant sept jours, jusqu'au jour de l'accomplissement des jours de votre consécration ; car on mettra sept jours à vous consacrer.
  
  34 L'Éternel a commandé de faire comme on a fait aujourd'hui, pour faire propitiation pour vous.
  
  35 Et vous demeurerez pendant sept jours à l'entrée de la tente d'assignation, jour et nuit, et vous garderez ce que l'Éternel vous a donné à garder, afin que vous ne mouriez pas ; car il m'a été ainsi commandé.
  
  36 Et Aaron et ses fils firent toutes les choses que l'Éternel avait commandées par Moïse.
  
  Psaumes 9
  
  1 Je célébrerai l'Éternel de tout mon coeur ; je raconterai toutes tes merveilles.
  
  2 Je me réjouirai et je m'égayerai en toi ; je chanterai ton nom, ô Très-haut !
  
  3 Quand mes ennemis sont retournés en arrière, ils ont bronché, et ont péri devant toi.
  
  4 Car tu as maintenu mon droit et ma cause ; tu t'es assis sur le trône, toi qui juges justement.
  
  5 Tu as tancé les nations, tu as fait périr le méchant ; tu as effacé leur nom pour toujours et à perpétuité.
  
  6 O ennemi ! les dévastations sont venues à leur fin pour toujours. Tu as aussi rasé des villes, leur mémoire a péri avec elles.
  
  7 Mais l'Éternel est assis pour toujours ; il a préparé son trône pour le jugement,
  
  8 il jugera le monde avec justice, et exercera le jugement sur les peuples avec droiture.
  
  9 Et l'Éternel sera une haute retraite pour l'opprimé, une haute retraite dans les temps de détresse.
  
  10 Et ceux qui connaissent ton nom se confieront en toi ; car tu n'as pas abandonné ceux qui te cherchent, ô Éternel !
  
  11 Chantez à l'Éternel qui habite en Sion, annoncez parmi les peuples ses hauts faits. Sion
  
  12 Car en recherchant le sang il se souvient d'eux ; il n'oublie pas le cri des affligés.
  
  13 O Éternel ! use de grâce envers moi ; regarde mon affliction que je souffre de la part de ceux qui me haïssent, toi qui me fais remonter des portes de la mort ;
  
  14 Afin que je raconte toutes tes louanges dans les portes de la fille de Sion. Je me réjouirai en ton salut. Sion
  
  15 Les nations se sont enfoncées dans la fosse qu'elles ont faite ; au filet même qu'elles ont caché, leur pied a été pris.
  
  16 L'Éternel s'est fait connaître par le jugement qu'il a exécuté ; le méchant est enlacé dans l'oeuvre de ses mains. Higgaïon. Sélah.
  
  17 Les méchants seront repoussés jusque dans le shéol, toutes les nations qui oublient Dieu ;
  
  18 Car le pauvre ne sera pas oublié à jamais, l'attente des débonnaires ne périra pas pour toujours.
  
  19 Lève-toi, Éternel ! que l'homme ne prévale pas. Que les nations soient jugées devant ta face.
  
  20 Éternel ! remplis-les de frayeur. Que les nations sachent qu'elles ne sont que des hommes. Sélah.
  
  Proverbes 23
  
  1 Quand tu t'assieds pour manger le pain avec un gouverneur, considère bien celui qui est devant toi ;
  
  2 et mets un couteau à ta gorge, si tu es gourmand.
  
  3 Ne désire point ses friandises, car c'est un pain trompeur.
  
  4 Ne te fatigue pas pour acquérir des richesses, finis-en avec ta prudence.
  
  5 Jetteras-tu tes yeux sur elles ?... Déjà elles ne sont plus ; car certes elles se font des ailes, et, comme l'aigle, s'envolent vers les cieux.
  
  6 Ne mange point le pain de celui qui a l'oeil mauvais, et ne désire pas ses friandises ;
  
  7 car comme il a pensé dans son âme, tel il est. Mange et bois, te dira-t-il ; mais son coeur n'est pas avec toi.
  
  8 Ton morceau que tu as mangé, tu le vomiras, et tu perdras tes paroles agréables.
  
  9 Ne parle pas aux oreilles du sot, car il méprisera la sagesse de ton discours.
  
  10 Ne recule pas l'ancienne borne, et n'entre pas dans les champs des orphelins ;
  
  11 leur rédempteur est fort, il prendra en main leur cause contre toi.
  
  12 Applique ton coeur à l'instruction et tes oreilles aux paroles de la connaissance.
  
  13 Ne manque pas de corriger le jeune garçon ; quand tu l'auras frappé de la verge, il n'en mourra pas.
  
  14 Tu le frapperas de la verge, mais tu délivreras son âme du shéol.
  
  15 Mon fils, si ton coeur est sage, mon coeur s'en réjouira, oui, moi-même,
  
  16 et mes reins s'égayeront quand te lèvres diront des choses droites.
  
  17 Que ton coeur n'envie pas les méchants ; mais sois tout le jour dans la crainte de l'Éternel ;
  
  18 car certainement il y a une fin, et ton attente ne sera pas réduite à néant.
  
  19 Toi, mon fils, écoute et sois sage, et dirige ton coeur dans le chemin.
  
  20 Ne sois pas parmi les buveurs de vin, ni parmi les gourmands ;
  
  21 car le buveur et le gourmand deviendront pauvres, et sommeiller revêt de haillons.
  
  22 Écoute ton père qui t'a engendré, et ne méprise pas ta mère quand elle aura vieilli.
  
  23 Achète la vérité, et ne la vends point, -la sagesse, et l'instruction, et l'intelligence.
  
  24 Le père du juste aura beaucoup de joie, et celui qui a engendré le sage, se réjouira en lui.
  
  25 Que ton père et ta mère se réjouissent, et que celle qui t'a enfanté ait de la joie.
  
  26 Mon fils, donne-moi ton coeur, et que tes yeux se plaisent à mes voies ;
  
  27 car la prostituée est une fosse profonde, et l'étrangère un puits de détresse :
  
  28 aussi se tient-elle aux embûches comme un voleur, et elle augmente le nombre des perfides parmi les hommes.
  
  29 Pour qui les : Hélas ? Pour qui les : Malheur à moi ? Pour qui les querelles, pour qui la plainte, pour qui les blessures sans cause ?
  
  30 Pour qui la rougeur des yeux ? Pour ceux qui s'attardent auprès du vin, qui vont essayer le vin mixtionné.
  
  31 -Ne regarde pas le vin quand il est vermeil, quand il est perlé dans la coupe, et qu'il coule facilement ;
  
  32 à la fin, il mord comme un serpent et il pique comme une vipère :
  
  33 tes yeux regarderont les étrangères, et ton coeur dira des choses perverses ;
  
  34 et tu seras comme celui qui se coucherait au coeur de la mer, et comme celui qui se coucherait au sommet d'un mât...
  
  35 On m'a frappé, et je n'en ai point été malade ; on m'a battu, et je ne l'ai pas su. Quand me réveillerai-je ? J'y reviendrai, je le rechercherai encore !

  1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
  
  2 "Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the sin offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;
  
  3 and assemble all the congregation at the door of the Tent of Meeting."
  
  4 Moses did as Yahweh commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
  
  5 Moses said to the congregation, "This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded to be done."
  
  6 Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.
  
  7 He put the coat on him, tied the sash on him, clothed him with the robe, put the ephod on him, and he tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod on him, and fastened it to him with it.
  
  8 He placed the breastplate on him; and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim.
  
  9 He set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as Yahweh commanded Moses.
  
  10 Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.
  
  11 He sprinkled it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its base, to sanctify them.
  
  12 He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.
  
  13 Moses brought Aaron's sons, and clothed them with coats, and tied sashes on them, and put headbands on them; as Yahweh commanded Moses.
  
  14 He brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.
  
  15 He killed it; and Moses took the blood, and put it around on the horns of the altar with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.
  
  16 He took all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses burned it on the altar.
  
  17 But the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burned with fire outside the camp; as Yahweh commanded Moses.
  
  18 He presented the ram of the burnt offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
  
  19 He killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
  
  20 He cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burned the head, and the pieces, and the fat.
  
  21 He washed the innards and the legs with water; and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to Yahweh; as Yahweh commanded Moses.
  
  22 He presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
  
  23 He killed it; and Moses took some of its blood, and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.
  
  24 He brought Aaron's sons; and Moses put some of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot; and Moses sprinkled the blood around on the altar.
  
  25 He took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the innards, and the cover of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh;
  
  26 and out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before Yahweh, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and on the right thigh.
  
  27 He put all these in Aaron's hands and in his sons' hands, and waved them for a wave offering before Yahweh.
  
  28 Moses took them from their hands, and burned them on the altar on the burnt offering. They were a consecration for a pleasant aroma. It was an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
  
  29 Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave offering before Yahweh. It was Moses' portion of the ram of consecration, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
  
  30 Moses took some of the anointing oil, and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
  
  31 Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, "Boil the flesh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, 'Aaron and his sons shall eat it.'
  
  32 What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire.
  
  33 You shall not go out from the door of the Tent of Meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration are fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days.
  
  34 What has been done this day, so Yahweh has commanded to do, to make atonement for you.
  
  35 You shall stay at the door of the Tent of Meeting day and night seven days, and keep Yahweh's command, that you don't die: for so I am commanded."
  
  36 Aaron and his sons did all the things which Yahweh commanded by Moses.
  
  Psaumes 9
  
  1 <> I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works.
  
  2 I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
  
  3 When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish in your presence.
  
  4 For you have maintained my just cause. You sit on the throne judging righteously.
  
  5 You have rebuked the nations. You have destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name forever and ever.
  
  6 The enemy is overtaken by endless ruin. The very memory of the cities which you have overthrown has perished.
  
  7 But Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment.
  
  8 He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness.
  
  9 Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble.
  
  10 Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.
  
  11 Sing praises to Yahweh, who dwells in Zion, and declare among the people what he has done.
  
  12 For he who avenges blood remembers them. He doesn't forget the cry of the afflicted.
  
  13 Have mercy on me, Yahweh. See my affliction by those who hate me, and lift me up from the gates of death;
  
  14 that I may show forth all your praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion, I will rejoice in your salvation.
  
  15 The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made. In the net which they hid, their own foot is taken.
  
  16 Yahweh has made himself known. He has executed judgment. The wicked is snared by the work of his own hands. Meditation. Selah.
  
  17 The wicked shall be turned back to Sheol , even all the nations that forget God.
  
  18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish forever.
  
  19 Arise, Yahweh! Don't let man prevail. Let the nations be judged in your sight.
  
  20 Put them in fear, Yahweh. Let the nations know that they are only men. Selah.
  
  Proverbes 23
  
  1 When you sit to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before you;
  
  2 put a knife to your throat, if you are a man given to appetite.
  
  3 Don't be desirous of his dainties, since they are deceitful food.
  
  4 Don't weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint.
  
  5 Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky.
  
  6 Don't eat the food of him who has a stingy eye, and don't crave his delicacies:
  
  7 for as he thinks about the cost, so he is. "Eat and drink!" he says to you, but his heart is not with you.
  
  8 The morsel which you have eaten you shall vomit up, and lose your good words.
  
  9 Don't speak in the ears of a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.
  
  10 Don't move the ancient boundary stone. Don't encroach on the fields of the fatherless:
  
  11 for their Defender is strong. He will plead their case against you.
  
  12 Apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to the words of knowledge.
  
  13 Don't withhold correction from a child. If you punish him with the rod, he will not die.
  
  14 Punish him with the rod, and save his soul from Sheol .
  
  15 My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad, even mine:
  
  16 yes, my heart will rejoice, when your lips speak what is right.
  
  17 Don't let your heart envy sinners; but rather fear Yahweh all the day long.
  
  18 Indeed surely there is a future hope, and your hope will not be cut off.
  
  19 Listen, my son, and be wise, and keep your heart on the right path!
  
  20 Don't be among ones drinking too much wine, or those who gorge themselves on meat:
  
  21 for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags.
  
  22 Listen to your father who gave you life, and don't despise your mother when she is old.
  
  23 Buy the truth, and don't sell it. Get wisdom, discipline, and understanding.
  
  24 The father of the righteous has great joy. Whoever fathers a wise child delights in him.
  
  25 Let your father and your mother be glad! Let her who bore you rejoice!
  
  26 My son, give me your heart; and let your eyes keep in my ways.
  
  27 For a prostitute is a deep pit; and a wayward wife is a narrow well.
  
  28 Yes, she lies in wait like a robber, and increases the unfaithful among men.
  
  29 Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes?
  
  30 Those who stay long at the wine; those who go to seek out mixed wine.
  
  31 Don't look at the wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly.
  
  32 In the end, it bites like a snake, and poisons like a viper.
  
  33 Your eyes will see strange things, and your mind will imagine confusing things.
  
  34 Yes, you will be as he who lies down in the midst of the sea, or as he who lies on top of the rigging:
  
  35 "They hit me, and I was not hurt! They beat me, and I don't feel it! When will I wake up? I can do it again. I can find another."
