  7 וּלְשָׁא֣וּל פִּלֶ֔גֶשׁ וּשְׁמָ֖הּ רִצְפָּ֣ה בַת־אַיָּ֑ה וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־אַבְנֵ֔ר מַדּ֥וּעַ בָּ֖אתָה אֶל־פִּילֶ֥גֶשׁ אָבִֽי׃
  
  8 וַיִּחַר֩ לְאַבְנֵ֨ר מְאֹ֜ד עַל־דִּבְרֵ֣י אִֽישׁ־בֹּ֗שֶׁת וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הֲרֹ֨אשׁ כֶּ֥לֶב אָנֹ֘כִי֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִֽיהוּדָה֒ הַיּ֨וֹם אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־חֶ֜סֶד עִם־בֵּ֣ית ׀ שָׁא֣וּל אָבִ֗יךָ אֶל־אֶחָיו֙ וְאֶל־מֵ֣רֵעֵ֔הוּ וְלֹ֥א הִמְצִיתִ֖ךָ בְּיַד־דָּוִ֑ד וַתִּפְקֹ֥ד עָלַ֛י עֲוֺ֥ן הָאִשָּׁ֖ה הַיּֽוֹם׃
  
  9 כֹּֽה־יַעֲשֶׂ֤ה אֱלֹהִים֙ לְאַבְנֵ֔ר וְכֹ֖ה יֹסִ֣יף ל֑וֹ כִּ֗י כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר נִשְׁבַּ֤ע יְהוָה֙ לְדָוִ֔ד כִּֽי־כֵ֖ן אֶֽעֱשֶׂה־לּֽוֹ׃
  
  10 לְהַֽעֲבִ֥יר הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה מִבֵּ֣ית שָׁא֑וּל וּלְהָקִ֞ים אֶת־כִּסֵּ֣א דָוִ֗ד עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְעַל־יְהוּדָ֔ה מִדָּ֖ן וְעַד־בְּאֵ֥ר שָֽׁבַע׃
  
  11 וְלֹֽא־יָכֹ֣ל ע֔וֹד לְהָשִׁ֥יב אֶת־אַבְנֵ֖ר דָּבָ֑ר מִיִּרְאָת֖וֹ אֹתֽוֹ׃
  
  12 וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ אַבְנֵ֨ר מַלְאָכִ֧ים ׀ אֶל־דָּוִ֛ד *תחתו **תַּחְתָּ֥יו לֵאמֹ֖ר לְמִי־אָ֑רֶץ לֵאמֹ֗ר כָּרְתָ֤ה בְרִֽיתְךָ֙ אִתִּ֔י וְהִנֵּה֙ יָדִ֣י עִמָּ֔ךְ לְהָסֵ֥ב אֵלֶ֖יךָ אֶת־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
  
  13 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ט֔וֹב אֲנִ֕י אֶכְרֹ֥ת אִתְּךָ֖ בְּרִ֑ית אַ֣ךְ דָּבָ֣ר אֶחָ֡ד אָנֹכִי֩ שֹׁאֵ֨ל מֵאִתְּךָ֤ לֵאמֹר֙ לֹא־תִרְאֶ֣ה אֶת־פָּנַ֔י כִּ֣י ׀ אִם־לִפְנֵ֣י הֱבִיאֲךָ֗ אֵ֚ת מִיכַ֣ל בַּת־שָׁא֔וּל בְּבֹאֲךָ֖ לִרְא֥וֹת אֶת־פָּנָֽי׃
  
  14 וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח דָּוִד֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־אִֽישׁ־בֹּ֥שֶׁת בֶּן־שָׁא֖וּל לֵאמֹ֑ר תְּנָ֤ה אֶת־אִשְׁתִּי֙ אֶת־מִיכַ֔ל אֲשֶׁר֙ אֵרַ֣שְׂתִּי לִ֔י בְּמֵאָ֖ה עָרְל֥וֹת פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃
  
  15 וַיִּשְׁלַח֙ אִ֣ישׁ בֹּ֔שֶׁת וַיִּקָּחֶ֖הָ מֵ֣עִֽם אִ֑ישׁ מֵעִ֖ם פַּלְטִיאֵ֥ל בֶּן־*לוש **לָֽיִשׁ׃
  
  16 וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ אִתָּ֜הּ אִישָׁ֗הּ הָל֧וֹךְ וּבָכֹ֛ה אַחֲרֶ֖יהָ עַד־בַּֽחֻרִ֑ים וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֥יו אַבְנֵ֛ר לֵ֥ךְ שׁ֖וּב וַיָּשֹֽׁב׃
  
  17 וּדְבַר־אַבְנֵ֣ר הָיָ֔ה עִם־זִקְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר גַּם־תְּמוֹל֙ גַּם־שִׁלְשֹׁ֔ם הֱיִיתֶ֞ם מְבַקְשִׁ֧ים אֶת־דָּוִ֛ד לְמֶ֖לֶךְ עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃
  
  18 וְעַתָּ֖ה עֲשׂ֑וּ כִּ֣י יְהוָ֗ה אָמַ֤ר אֶל־דָּוִד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר בְּיַ֣ד ׀ דָּוִ֣ד עַבְדִּ֗י הוֹשִׁ֜יעַ אֶת־עַמִּ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מִיַּ֣ד פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים וּמִיַּ֖ד כָּל־אֹיְבֵיהֶֽם׃
  
  19 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר גַּם־אַבְנֵ֖ר בְּאָזְנֵ֣י בִנְיָמִ֑ין וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ גַּם־אַבְנֵ֗ר לְדַבֵּ֞ר בְּאָזְנֵ֤י דָוִד֙ בְּחֶבְר֔וֹן אֵ֤ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁר־טוֹב֙ בְּעֵינֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וּבְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־בֵּ֥ית בִּנְיָמִֽן׃

  25 יָדַ֙עְתָּ֙ אֶת־אַבְנֵ֣ר בֶּן־נֵ֔ר כִּ֥י לְפַתֹּתְךָ֖ בָּ֑א וְלָדַ֜עַת אֶת־מוֹצָֽאֲךָ֙ וְאֶת־*מבואך **מ֣וֹבָאֶ֔ךָ וְלָדַ֕עַת אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתָּ֖ה עֹשֶֽׂה׃
  
  26 וַיֵּצֵ֤א יוֹאָב֙ מֵעִ֣ם דָּוִ֔ד וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח מַלְאָכִים֙ אַחֲרֵ֣י אַבְנֵ֔ר וַיָּשִׁ֥בוּ אֹת֖וֹ מִבּ֣וֹר הַסִּרָ֑ה וְדָוִ֖ד לֹ֥א יָדָֽע׃
  
  27 וַיָּ֤שָׁב אַבְנֵר֙ חֶבְר֔וֹן וַיַּטֵּ֤הוּ יוֹאָב֙ אֶל־תּ֣וֹךְ הַשַּׁ֔עַר לְדַבֵּ֥ר אִתּ֖וֹ בַּשֶּׁ֑לִי וַיַּכֵּ֤הוּ שָׁם֙ הַחֹ֔מֶשׁ וַיָּ֕מָת בְּדַ֖ם עֲשָׂה־אֵ֥ל אָחִֽיו׃
  
  28 וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע דָּוִד֙ מֵאַ֣חֲרֵי כֵ֔ן וַיֹּ֗אמֶר נָקִ֨י אָנֹכִ֧י וּמַמְלַכְתִּ֛י מֵעִ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה עַד־עוֹלָ֑ם מִדְּמֵ֖י אַבְנֵ֥ר בֶּן־נֵֽר׃
  
  29 יָחֻ֙לוּ֙ עַל־רֹ֣אשׁ יוֹאָ֔ב וְאֶ֖ל כָּל־בֵּ֣ית אָבִ֑יו וְֽאַל־יִכָּרֵ֣ת מִבֵּ֣ית יוֹאָ֡ב זָ֠ב וּמְצֹרָ֞ע וּמַחֲזִ֥יק בַּפֶּ֛לֶךְ וְנֹפֵ֥ל בַּחֶ֖רֶב וַחֲסַר־לָֽחֶם׃
  
  30 וְיוֹאָב֙ וַאֲבִישַׁ֣י אָחִ֔יו הָרְג֖וּ לְאַבְנֵ֑ר עַל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֵמִ֜ית אֶת־עֲשָׂהאֵ֧ל אֲחִיהֶ֛ם בְּגִבְע֖וֹן בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃
  
  31 וַיֹּאמֶר֩ דָּוִ֨ד אֶל־יוֹאָ֜ב וְאֶל־כָּל־הָעָ֣ם אֲשֶׁר־אִתּ֗וֹ קִרְע֤וּ בִגְדֵיכֶם֙ וְחִגְר֣וּ שַׂקִּ֔ים וְסִפְד֖וּ לִפְנֵ֣י אַבְנֵ֑ר וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ דָּוִ֔ד הֹלֵ֖ךְ אַחֲרֵ֥י הַמִּטָּֽה׃
  
  32 וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ אֶת־אַבְנֵ֖ר בְּחֶבְר֑וֹן וַיִשָּׂ֧א הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ אֶת־קוֹל֗וֹ וַיֵּבְךְּ֙ אֶל־קֶ֣בֶר אַבְנֵ֔ר וַיִּבְכּ֖וּ כָּל־הָעָֽם׃
  
  33 וַיְקֹנֵ֥ן הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אֶל־אַבְנֵ֖ר וַיֹּאמַ֑ר הַכְּמ֥וֹת נָבָ֖ל יָמ֥וּת אַבְנֵֽר׃
  
  34 יָדֶ֣ךָ לֹֽא־אֲסֻר֗וֹת וְרַגְלֶ֙יךָ֙ לֹא־לִנְחֻשְׁתַּ֣יִם הֻגָּ֔שׁוּ כִּנְפ֛וֹל לִפְנֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־עַוְלָ֖ה נָפָ֑לְתָּ וַיֹּסִ֥פוּ כָל־הָעָ֖ם לִבְכּ֥וֹת עָלָֽיו׃
  
  35 וַיָּבֹ֣א כָל־הָעָ֗ם לְהַבְר֧וֹת אֶת־דָּוִ֛ד לֶ֖חֶם בְּע֣וֹד הַיּ֑וֹם וַיִּשָּׁבַ֨ע דָּוִ֜ד לֵאמֹ֗ר כֹּ֣ה יַעֲשֶׂה־לִּ֤י אֱלֹהִים֙ וְכֹ֣ה יֹסִ֔יף כִּ֣י אִם־לִפְנֵ֧י בֽוֹא־הַשֶּׁ֛מֶשׁ אֶטְעַם־לֶ֖חֶם א֥וֹ כָל־מְאֽוּמָה׃
  
  36 וְכָל־הָעָ֣ם הִכִּ֔ירוּ וַיִּיטַ֖ב בְּעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם כְּכֹל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֣ה הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ בְּעֵינֵ֥י כָל־הָעָ֖ם טֽוֹב׃
  
  37 וַיֵּדְע֧וּ כָל־הָעָ֛ם וְכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֑וּא כִּ֣י לֹ֤א הָיְתָה֙ מֵֽהַמֶּ֔לֶךְ לְהָמִ֖ית אֶת־אַבְנֵ֥ר בֶּן־נֵֽר׃

  1 Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: and David grew stronger and stronger, but the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.
  
  2 To David were sons born in Hebron: and his firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess;
  
  3 and his second, Chileab, of Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite; and the third, Absalom the son of Maacah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;
  
  4 and the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; and the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;
  
  5 and the sixth, Ithream, of Eglah, David's wife. These were born to David in Hebron.
  
  6 It happened, while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made himself strong in the house of Saul.
  
  7 Now Saul had a concubine, whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah: and Ishbosheth said to Abner, "Why have you gone in to my father's concubine?"
  
  8 Then was Abner very angry for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, "Am I a dog's head that belongs to Judah? Today I show kindness to the house of Saul your father, to his brothers, and to his friends, and have not delivered you into the hand of David; and yet you charge me this day with a fault concerning this woman!
  
  9 God do so to Abner, and more also, if, as Yahweh has sworn to David, I don't do even so to him;
  
  10 to transfer the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beersheba."
  
  11 He could not answer Abner another word, because he feared him.
  
  12 Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, "Whose is the land?" and saying, "Make your alliance with me, and behold, my hand shall be with you, to bring all Israel around to you."
  
  13 He said, "Good; I will make a treaty with you; but one thing I require of you. That is, you shall not see my face, unless you first bring Michal, Saul's daughter, when you come to see my face."
  
  14 David sent messengers to Ishbosheth, Saul's son, saying, "Deliver me my wife Michal, whom I pledged to be married to me for one hundred foreskins of the Philistines."
  
  15 Ishbosheth sent, and took her from her husband, even from Paltiel the son of Laish.
  
  16 Her husband went with her, weeping as he went, and followed her to Bahurim. Then Abner said to him, "Go! Return!" and he returned.
  
  17 Abner had communication with the elders of Israel, saying, "In times past, you sought for David to be king over you.
  
  18 Now then do it; for Yahweh has spoken of David, saying, 'By the hand of my servant David, I will save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies.'"
  
  19 Abner also spoke in the ears of Benjamin: and Abner went also to speak in the ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and to the whole house of Benjamin.
  
  20 So Abner came to David to Hebron, and twenty men with him. David made Abner and the men who were with him a feast.
  
  21 Abner said to David, "I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel to my lord the king, that they may make a covenant with you, and that you may reign over all that your soul desires." David sent Abner away; and he went in peace.
  
  22 Behold, the servants of David and Joab came from a foray, and brought in a great spoil with them: but Abner was not with David in Hebron; for he had sent him away, and he was gone in peace.
  
  23 When Joab and all the army who was with him had come, they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he has sent him away, and he is gone in peace.
  
  24 Then Joab came to the king, and said, "What have you done? Behold, Abner came to you. Why is it that you have sent him away, and he is quite gone?
  
  25 You know Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive you, and to know your going out and your coming in, and to know all that you do."
  
  26 When Joab had come out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, and they brought him back from the well of Sirah; but David didn't know it.
  
  27 When Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into the midst of the gate to speak with him quietly, and struck him there in the body, so that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.
  
  28 Afterward, when David heard it, he said, "I and my kingdom are guiltless before Yahweh forever of the blood of Abner the son of Ner.
  
  29 Let it fall on the head of Joab, and on all his father's house. Let there not fail from the house of Joab one who has an issue, or who is a leper, or who leans on a staff, or who falls by the sword, or who lacks bread."
  
  30 So Joab and Abishai his brother killed Abner, because he had killed their brother Asahel at Gibeon in the battle.
  
  31 David said to Joab, and to all the people who were with him, Tear your clothes, and clothe yourselves with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. King David followed the bier.
  
  32 They buried Abner in Hebron: and the king lifted up his voice, and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.
  
  33 The king lamented for Abner, and said, "Should Abner die as a fool dies?
  
  34 Your hands were not bound, nor your feet put into fetters. As a man falls before the children of iniquity, so you fell." All the people wept again over him.
  
  35 All the people came to cause David to eat bread while it was yet day; but David swore, saying, "God do so to me, and more also, if I taste bread, or anything else, until the sun goes down."
  
  36 All the people took notice of it, and it pleased them; as whatever the king did pleased all the people.
  
  37 So all the people and all Israel understood that day that it was not of the king to kill Abner the son of Ner.
  
  38 The king said to his servants, "Don't you know that there a prince and a great man has fallen this day in Israel?
  
  39 I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men the sons of Zeruiah are too hard for me. May Yahweh reward the evildoer according to his wickedness."

  1 Et la guerre fut longue entre la maison de Saül et la maison de David. Et David allait se fortifiant, et la maison de Saül allait s'affaiblissant.
  
  2 Et il naquit à David des fils à Hébron : son premier-né fut Amnon, d'Akhinoam, la Jizreélite ;
  
  3 et le second, Kileab, d'Abigaïl, femme de Nabal le Carmélite ; et le troisième, Absalom, fils de Maaca, fille de Talmaï, roi de Gueshur ;
  
  4 et le quatrième, Adonija, fils de Hagguith ; et le cinquième, Shephatia, fils d'Abital ;
  
  5 et le sixième, Jithream, d'Égla, femme de David. Ceux-ci naquirent à David à Hébron.
  
  6 Et il arriva que, pendant qu'il y eut guerre entre la maison de Saül et la maison de David, Abner tint ferme pour la maison de Saül.
  
  7 Et Saül avait une concubine : son nom était Ritspa, fille d'Aïa ; et Ish-Bosheth dit à Abner : Pourquoi es-tu entré vers la concubine de mon père ?
  
  8 Et Abner fut fort irrité à cause des paroles d'Ish-Bosheth, et il dit : Suis-je une tête de chien, moi qui aujourd'hui, contre Juda, ai usé de bonté envers la maison de Saül, ton père, envers ses frères et envers ses amis, et qui ne t'ai pas livré aux mains de David, que tu m'imputes aujourd'hui l'iniquité à cause de cette femme ?
  
  9 Que Dieu fasse ainsi à Abner et ainsi y ajoute, si je ne fais pas à David comme l'Éternel lui a juré,
  
  10 en faisant passer le royaume de la maison de Saül, et en établissant le trône de David sur Israël et sur Juda, depuis Dan jusqu'à Beër-Shéba !
  
  11 Et Ish-Bosheth ne put répliquer un mot à Abner, parce qu'il avait peur de lui.
  
  12 Et Abner envoya des messagers à David de sa part, disant : A qui est le pays ? -disant : Fais alliance avec moi ; et voici, ma main sera avec toi pour tourner vers toi tout Israël.
  
  13 Et David dit : Bien, je ferai alliance avec toi ; seulement je demande de toi une chose, savoir : Tu ne verras pas ma face, à moins qu'auparavant tu ne fasses venir Mical, fille de Saül, quand tu viendras pour voir ma face.
  
  14 Et David envoya des messagers à Ish-Bosheth, fils de Saül, disant : Donne-moi ma femme Mical que je me suis fiancée pour cent prépuces de Philistins.
  
  15 Et Ish-Bosheth envoya, et la prit d'auprès de son mari, d'auprès de Paltiel, fils de Laïsh.
  
  16 Et son mari alla avec elle, marchant et pleurant après elle, jusqu'à Bakhurim. Et Abner lui dit : Va, retourne-t'en. Et il s'en retourna.
  
  17 Et Abner s'était entretenu avec les anciens d'Israël, disant : Ci-devant vous recherchiez David, pour qu'il fût roi sur vous ;
  
  18 et maintenant, agissez ; car l'Éternel a parlé touchant David, disant : Par la main de David, mon serviteur, je délivrerai mon peuple Israël de la main des Philistins et de la main de tous ses ennemis.
  
  19 Et Abner parla aussi aux oreilles de Benjamin, et Abner alla aussi pour dire aux oreilles de David, à Hébron, tout ce qui était bon aux yeux d'Israël et aux yeux de toute la maison de Benjamin.
  
  20 Et Abner vint vers David, à Hébron, et avec lui vingt hommes ; et David fit un festin à Abner, ainsi qu'aux hommes qui étaient avec lui.
  
  21 Et Abner dit à David : Je me lèverai, et j'irai, et j'assemblerai vers mon seigneur, le roi, tout Israël ; et ils feront alliance avec toi ; et tu règneras sur tout ce que ton âme désire. Et David congédia Abner, et il s'en alla en paix.
  
  22 Et voici, les serviteurs de David, et Joab, revenaient d'une expédition, et ils amenaient avec eux un grand butin ; et Abner n'était pas avec David, à Hébron, car il l'avait congédié, et il s'en était allé en paix.
  
  23 Et Joab et toute l'armée qui était avec lui vinrent ; et on rapporta à Joab, en disant : Abner, fils de Ner, est venu vers le roi, qui l'a congédié, et il s'en est allé en paix.
  
  24 Et Joab entra auprès du roi, et dit : Qu'as-tu fait ? Voici, Abner est venu vers toi ; pourquoi l'as-tu congédié, en sorte qu'il s'en est allé ?
  
  25 Tu connais Abner, fils de Ner, qu'il est venu pour te tromper, et pour connaître tes sorties et tes entrées, et pour savoir tout ce que tu fais.
  
  26 Et Joab sortit d'auprès de David, et envoya après Abner des messagers qui le firent rebrousser depuis la citerne de Sira ; et David ne le savait pas.
  
  27 Et Abner revint à Hébron, et Joab le tira à part au milieu de la porte, pour lui parler tranquillement, et là il le frappa au ventre, en sorte qu'il mourut, à cause du sang de son frère Asçaël.
  
  28 Et David l'apprit plus tard, et il dit : Je suis innocent, moi et mon royaume, devant l'Éternel, à jamais, du sang d'Abner, fils de Ner :
  
  29 qu'il tombe sur la tête de Joab, et sur toute la maison de son père ; et que la maison de Joab ne soit jamais sans un homme ayant un flux, ou la lèpre, ou qui s'appuie sur un bâton, ou qui tombe par l'épée, ou qui manque de pain.
  
  30 Ainsi Joab et Abishaï, son frère, tuèrent Abner, parce qu'il avait donné la mort à Asçaël, leur frère, à Gabaon, dans la bataille.
  
  31 Et David dit à Joab et à tout le peuple qui était avec lui : Déchirez vos vêtements et ceignez-vous de sacs, et menez deuil devant Abner. Et le roi David marchait après le cercueil.
  
  32 Et ils enterrèrent Abner à Hébron ; et le roi éleva sa voix et pleura au sépulcre d'Abner ; et tout le peuple pleura.
  
  33 Et le roi prononça une complainte sur Abner, et dit : Abner devait-il mourir comme meurt un insensé ?
  
  34 Tes mains n'étaient pas liées, et tes pieds n'avaient pas été mis dans des chaînes ; tu es tombé comme on tombe devant les fils d'iniquité. Et tout le peuple pleura encore sur lui.
  
  35 Et tout le peuple vint vers David pour l'engager à manger du pain, pendant qu'il était encore jour ; mais David jura, disant : Que Dieu me fasse ainsi et ainsi y ajoute, si avant que le soleil se soit couché je goûte du pain ou aucune autre chose !
  
  36 Et tout le peuple y eut égard, et cela fut bon à leurs yeux, comme tout ce que faisait le roi était bon aux yeux de tout le peuple.
  
  37 Et en ce jour-là tout le peuple et tout Israël reconnurent que ce n'était point de par le roi qu'on avait fait mourir Abner, fils de Ner.
  
  38 Et le roi dit à ses serviteurs : Ne savez-vous pas qu'un prince, et un grand homme, est tombé aujourd'hui en Israël ?
  
  39 Et moi je suis aujourd'hui faible, bien que j'aie reçu l'onction de roi ; et ces hommes-là, les fils de Tseruïa, sont trop durs pour moi. Que l'Éternel rende à celui qui fait le mal, selon son méfait !
