  2 וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח יוֹאָב֙ תְּק֔וֹעָה וַיִּקַּ֥ח מִשָּׁ֖ם אִשָּׁ֣ה חֲכָמָ֑ה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵ֠לֶיהָ הִֽתְאַבְּלִי־נָ֞א וְלִבְשִׁי־נָ֣א בִגְדֵי־אֵ֗בֶל וְאַל־תָּס֙וּכִי֙ שֶׁ֔מֶן וְהָיִ֕ית כְּאִשָּׁ֗ה זֶ֚ה יָמִ֣ים רַבִּ֔ים מִתְאַבֶּ֖לֶת עַל־מֵֽת׃
  
  3 וּבָאת֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְדִבַּ֥רְתְּ אֵלָ֖יו כַּדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַיָּ֧שֶׂם יוֹאָ֛ב אֶת־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים בְּפִֽיהָ׃
  
  4 וַ֠תֹּאמֶר הָאִשָּׁ֤ה הַתְּקֹעִית֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַתִּפֹּ֧ל עַל־אַפֶּ֛יהָ אַ֖רְצָה וַתִּשְׁתָּ֑חוּ וַתֹּ֖אמֶר הוֹשִׁ֥עָה הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
  
  5 וַיֹּֽאמֶר־לָ֥הּ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ מַה־לָּ֑ךְ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר אֲבָ֛ל אִשָּֽׁה־אַלְמָנָ֥ה אָ֖נִי וַיָּ֥מָת אִישִֽׁי׃
  
  6 וּלְשִׁפְחָֽתְךָ֙ שְׁנֵ֣י בָנִ֔ים וַיִּנָּצ֤וּ שְׁנֵיהֶם֙ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה וְאֵ֥ין מַצִּ֖יל בֵּֽינֵיהֶ֑ם וַיַּכּ֧וֹ הָאֶחָ֛ד אֶת־הָאֶחָ֖ד וַיָּ֥מֶת אֹתֽוֹ׃
  
  7 וְהִנֵּה֩ קָ֨מָה כָֽל־הַמִּשְׁפָּחָ֜ה עַל־שִׁפְחָתֶ֗ךָ וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ תְּנִ֣י ׀ אֶת־מַכֵּ֣ה אָחִ֗יו וּנְמִתֵ֙הוּ֙ בְּנֶ֤פֶשׁ אָחִיו֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָרָ֔ג וְנַשְׁמִ֖ידָה גַּ֣ם אֶת־הַיּוֹרֵ֑שׁ וְכִבּ֗וּ אֶת־גַּֽחַלְתִּי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִשְׁאָ֔רָה לְבִלְתִּ֧י *שום־**שִׂים־לְאִישִׁ֛י שֵׁ֥ם וּשְׁאֵרִ֖ית עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃
  
  8 וַיֹּ֧אמֶר הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ אֶל־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה לְכִ֣י לְבֵיתֵ֑ךְ וַאֲנִ֖י אֲצַוֶּ֥ה עָלָֽיִךְ׃
  
  9 וַתֹּ֜אמֶר הָאִשָּׁ֤ה הַתְּקוֹעִית֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ עָלַ֞י אֲדֹנִ֥י הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ הֶעָוֺ֖ן וְעַל־בֵּ֣ית אָבִ֑י וְהַמֶּ֥לֶךְ וְכִסְא֖וֹ נָקִֽי׃
  
  10 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ הַֽמְדַבֵּ֤ר אֵלַ֙יִךְ֙ וַֽהֲבֵאת֣וֹ אֵלַ֔י וְלֹֽא־יֹסִ֥יף ע֖וֹד לָגַ֥עַת בָּֽךְ׃
  
  11 וַתֹּאמֶר֩ יִזְכָּר־נָ֨א הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ *מהרבית **מֵהַרְבַּ֞ת גֹּאֵ֤ל הַדָּם֙ לְשַׁחֵ֔ת וְלֹ֥א יַשְׁמִ֖ידוּ אֶת־בְּנִ֑י וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ חַי־יְהוָ֔ה אִם־יִפֹּ֛ל מִשַּׂעֲרַ֥ת בְּנֵ֖ךְ אָֽרְצָה׃
  
  12 וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה תְּדַבֶּר־נָ֧א שִׁפְחָתְךָ֛ אֶל־אֲדֹנִ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ דָּבָ֑ר וַיֹּ֖אמֶר דַּבֵּֽרִי׃
  
  13 וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה וְלָ֧מָּה חָשַׁ֛בְתָּה כָּזֹ֖את עַל־עַ֣ם אֱלֹהִ֑ים וּמִדַּבֵּ֨ר הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ כְּאָשֵׁ֔ם לְבִלְתִּ֛י הָשִׁ֥יב הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶֽת־נִדְּחֽוֹ׃
  
  14 כִּי־מ֣וֹת נָמ֔וּת וְכַמַּ֙יִם֙ הַנִּגָּרִ֣ים אַ֔רְצָה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֣א יֵאָסֵ֑פוּ וְלֹֽא־יִשָּׂ֤א אֱלֹהִים֙ נֶ֔פֶשׁ וְחָשַׁב֙ מַֽחֲשָׁב֔וֹת לְבִלְתִּ֛י יִדַּ֥ח מִמֶּ֖נּוּ נִדָּֽח׃
  
  15 וְ֠עַתָּה אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֜אתִי לְדַבֵּ֨ר אֶל־הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ אֲדֹנִי֙ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה כִּ֥י יֵֽרְאֻ֖נִי הָעָ֑ם וַתֹּ֤אמֶר שִׁפְחָֽתְךָ֙ אֲדַבְּרָה־נָּ֣א אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אוּלַ֛י יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶת־דְּבַ֥ר אֲמָתֽוֹ׃

  19 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ הֲיַ֥ד יוֹאָ֛ב אִתָּ֖ךְ בְּכָל־זֹ֑את וַתַּ֣עַן הָאִשָּׁ֣ה וַתֹּ֡אמֶר חֵֽי־נַפְשְׁךָ֩ אֲדֹנִ֨י הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ אִם־אִ֣שׁ ׀ לְהֵמִ֣ין וּלְהַשְׂמִ֗יל מִכֹּ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּר֙ אֲדֹנִ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ כִּֽי־עַבְדְּךָ֤ יוֹאָב֙ ה֣וּא צִוָּ֔נִי וְה֗וּא שָׂ֚ם בְּפִ֣י שִׁפְחָֽתְךָ֔ אֵ֥ת כָּל־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃
  
  20 לְבַעֲב֤וּר סַבֵּב֙ אֶת־פְּנֵ֣י הַדָּבָ֔ר עָשָׂ֛ה עַבְדְּךָ֥ יוֹאָ֖ב אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה וַאדֹנִ֣י חָכָ֗ם כְּחָכְמַת֙ מַלְאַ֣ךְ הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים לָדַ֖עַת אֶֽת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

  22 וַיִּפֹּל֩ יוֹאָ֨ב אֶל־פָּנָ֥יו אַ֛רְצָה וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אֶת־הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יוֹאָ֡ב הַיּוֹם֩ יָדַ֨ע עַבְדְּךָ֜ כִּי־מָצָ֨אתִי חֵ֤ן בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ אֲדֹנִ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֥ה הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ אֶת־דְּבַ֥ר *עבדו **עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃
  
  23 וַיָּ֥קָם יוֹאָ֖ב וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ גְּשׁ֑וּרָה וַיָּבֵ֥א אֶת־אַבְשָׁל֖וֹם יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
  
  24 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ יִסֹּ֣ב אֶל־בֵּית֔וֹ וּפָנַ֖י לֹ֣א יִרְאֶ֑ה וַיִּסֹּ֤ב אַבְשָׁלוֹם֙ אֶל־בֵּית֔וֹ וּפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ לֹ֥א רָאָֽה׃
  
  25 וּכְאַבְשָׁל֗וֹם לֹא־הָיָ֧ה אִישׁ־יָפֶ֛ה בְּכָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לְהַלֵּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד מִכַּ֤ף רַגְלוֹ֙ וְעַ֣ד קָדְקֳד֔וֹ לֹא־הָ֥יָה ב֖וֹ מֽוּם׃
  
  26 וּֽבְגַלְּחוֹ֮ אֶת־רֹאשׁוֹ֒ וְֽ֠הָיָה מִקֵּ֨ץ יָמִ֤ים ׀ לַיָּמִים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְגַלֵּ֔חַ כִּֽי־כָבֵ֥ד עָלָ֖יו וְגִלְּח֑וֹ וְשָׁקַל֙ אֶת־שְׂעַ֣ר רֹאשׁ֔וֹ מָאתַ֥יִם שְׁקָלִ֖ים בְּאֶ֥בֶן הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃
  
  27 וַיִּֽוָּלְד֤וּ לְאַבְשָׁלוֹם֙ שְׁלוֹשָׁ֣ה בָנִ֔ים וּבַ֥ת אַחַ֖ת וּשְׁמָ֣הּ תָּמָ֑ר הִ֣יא הָיְתָ֔ה אִשָּׁ֖ה יְפַ֥ת מַרְאֶֽה׃
  
  28 וַיֵּ֧שֶׁב אַבְשָׁל֛וֹם בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם שְׁנָתַ֣יִם יָמִ֑ים וּפְנֵ֥י הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ לֹ֥א רָאָֽה׃
  
  29 וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח אַבְשָׁל֜וֹם אֶל־יוֹאָ֗ב לִשְׁלֹ֤חַ אֹתוֹ֙ אֶל־הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְלֹ֥א אָבָ֖ה לָב֣וֹא אֵלָ֑יו וַיִּשְׁלַ֥ח עוֹד֙ שֵׁנִ֔ית וְלֹ֥א אָבָ֖ה לָבֽוֹא׃
  
  30 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֶל־עֲבָדָ֜יו רְאוּ֩ חֶלְקַ֨ת יוֹאָ֤ב אֶל־יָדִי֙ וְלוֹ־שָׁ֣ם שְׂעֹרִ֔ים לְכ֖וּ *והוצתיה **וְהַצִּית֣וּהָ בָאֵ֑שׁ וַיַּצִּ֜תוּ עַבְדֵ֧י אַבְשָׁל֛וֹם אֶת־הַחֶלְקָ֖ה בָּאֵֽשׁ׃
  
  31 וַיָּ֣קָם יוֹאָ֔ב וַיָּבֹ֥א אֶל־אַבְשָׁל֖וֹם הַבָּ֑יְתָה וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֔יו לָ֣מָּה הִצִּ֧יתוּ עֲבָדֶ֛ךָ אֶת־הַחֶלְקָ֥ה אֲשֶׁר־לִ֖י בָּאֵֽשׁ׃
  
  32 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אַבְשָׁל֣וֹם אֶל־יוֹאָ֡ב הִנֵּ֣ה שָׁלַ֣חְתִּי אֵלֶ֣יךָ ׀ לֵאמֹ֡ר בֹּ֣א הֵ֠נָּה וְאֶשְׁלְחָה֩ אֹתְךָ֨ אֶל־הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ לֵאמֹ֗ר לָ֤מָּה בָּ֙אתִי֙ מִגְּשׁ֔וּר ט֥וֹב לִ֖י עֹ֣ד אֲנִי־שָׁ֑ם וְעַתָּ֗ה אֶרְאֶה֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְאִם־יֶשׁ־בִּ֥י עָוֺ֖ן וֶהֱמִתָֽנִי׃

  1 Now Joab the son of Zeruiah perceived that the king's heart was toward Absalom.
  
  2 Joab sent to Tekoa, and fetched there a wise woman, and said to her, "Please act like a mourner, and put on mourning clothing, please, and don't anoint yourself with oil, but be as a woman who has mourned a long time for the dead.
  
  3 Go in to the king, and speak like this to him." So Joab put the words in her mouth.
  
  4 When the woman of Tekoa spoke to the king, she fell on her face to the ground, showed respect, and said, "Help, O king!"
  
  5 The king said to her, "What ails you?" She answered, "Truly I am a widow, and my husband is dead.
  
  6 Your handmaid had two sons, and they both fought together in the field, and there was no one to part them, but the one struck the other, and killed him.
  
  7 Behold, the whole family has risen against your handmaid, and they say, 'Deliver him who struck his brother, that we may kill him for the life of his brother whom he killed, and so destroy the heir also.' Thus they would quench my coal which is left, and would leave to my husband neither name nor remainder on the surface of the earth."
  
  8 The king said to the woman, "Go to your house, and I will give a command concerning you."
  
  9 The woman of Tekoa said to the king, "My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father's house; and the king and his throne be guiltless."
  
  10 The king said, "Whoever says anything to you, bring him to me, and he shall not touch you any more."
  
  11 Then she said, "Please let the king remember Yahweh your God, that the avenger of blood destroy not any more, lest they destroy my son." He said, "As Yahweh lives, not one hair of your son shall fall to the earth."
  
  12 Then the woman said, "Please let your handmaid speak a word to my lord the king." He said, "Say on."
  
  13 The woman said, "Why then have you devised such a thing against the people of God? For in speaking this word the king is as one who is guilty, in that the king does not bring home again his banished one.
  
  14 For we must die, and are as water split on the ground, which can't be gathered up again; neither does God take away life, but devises means, that he who is banished not be an outcast from him.
  
  15 Now therefore seeing that I have come to speak this word to my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid: and your handmaid said, 'I will now speak to the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his servant.'
  
  16 For the king will hear, to deliver his servant out of the hand of the man who would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.
  
  17 Then your handmaid said, 'Please let the word of my lord the king bring rest; for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad. May Yahweh, your God, be with you.'"
  
  18 Then the king answered the woman, "Please don't hide anything from me that I ask you." The woman said, "Let my lord the king now speak."
  
  19 The king said, "Is the hand of Joab with you in all this?" The woman answered, "As your soul lives, my lord the king, no one can turn to the right hand or to the left from anything that my lord the king has spoken; for your servant Joab, he urged me, and he put all these words in the mouth of your handmaid;
  
  20 to change the face of the matter has your servant Joab done this thing. My lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth."
  
  21 The king said to Joab, "Behold now, I have done this thing. Go therefore, bring the young man Absalom back."
  
  22 Joab fell to the ground on his face, showed respect, and blessed the king. Joab said, "Today your servant knows that I have found favor in your sight, my lord, king, in that the king has performed the request of his servant."
  
  23 So Joab arose and went to Geshur, and brought Absalom to Jerusalem.
  
  24 The king said, "Let him return to his own house, but let him not see my face." So Absalom returned to his own house, and didn't see the king's face.
  
  25 Now in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.
  
  26 When he cut the hair of his head (now it was at every year's end that he cut it; because it was heavy on him, therefore he cut it); he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels, after the king's weight.
  
  27 To Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter, whose name was Tamar: she was a woman of a beautiful face.
  
  28 Absalom lived two full years in Jerusalem; and he didn't see the king's face.
  
  29 Then Absalom sent for Joab, to send him to the king; but he would not come to him: and he sent again a second time, but he would not come.
  
  30 Therefore he said to his servants, "Behold, Joab's field is near mine, and he has barley there. Go and set it on fire." Absalom's servants set the field on fire.
  
  31 Then Joab arose, and came to Absalom to his house, and said to him, "Why have your servants set my field on fire?"
  
  32 Absalom answered Joab, "Behold, I sent to you, saying, 'Come here, that I may send you to the king, to say, "Why have I come from Geshur? It would be better for me to be there still. Now therefore let me see the king's face; and if there is iniquity in me, let him kill me."'"
  
  33 So Joab came to the king, and told him; and when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king: and the king kissed Absalom.

  1 Et Joab, fils de Tseruïa, s'aperçut que le coeur du roi était pour Absalom ;
  
  2 et Joab envoya à Thekoa, et fit venir de là une femme habile, et il lui dit : Je te prie, fais semblant de mener deuil, et revêts-toi, je te prie, de vêtements de deuil, et ne t'oins pas d'huile, mais sois comme une femme qui mène deuil depuis longtemps pour un mort ;
  
  3 et entre vers le roi, et parle-lui de cette manière. Et Joab lui mit les paroles dans la bouche.
  
  4 Et la femme thekohite parla au roi, et tomba sur son visage contre terre et se prosterna, et dit : Sauve-moi, ô roi !
  
  5 Et le roi lui dit : Qu'as-tu ? Et elle dit : Certainement, je suis une femme veuve, et mon mari est mort.
  
  6 Et ta servante avait deux fils, et ils se sont disputés tous deux dans les champs, et il n'y avait personne pour les séparer ; et l'un a frappé l'autre et l'a tué.
  
  7 Et voici, toute la famille s'est élevée contre ta servante, et ils ont dit : Livre celui qui a frappé son frère, afin que nous le mettions à mort, à cause de la vie de son frère qu'il a tué, et que nous détruisions aussi l'héritier. Et ainsi ils éteindraient le tison qui me reste, afin de ne laisser à mon mari ni nom, ni reste sur la face de la terre.
  
  8 Et le roi dit à la femme : Va dans ta maison, et je donnerai mes ordres à ton égard.
  
  9 Et la femme thekohite dit au roi : O roi, mon seigneur ! que l'iniquité soit sur moi et sur la maison de mon père, et que le roi et son trône en soient innocents.
  
  10 Et le roi dit : Celui qui te parlera, amène-le-moi, et il ne te touchera plus.
  
  11 Et elle dit : Je te prie, que le roi se souvienne de l'Éternel, ton Dieu, afin que le vengeur du sang ne multiplie pas la ruine, et qu'on ne détruise pas mon fils. Et il dit : L'Éternel est vivant, s'il tombe à terre un des cheveux de ton fils !
  
  12 Et la femme dit : Je te prie, que ta servante dise un mot au roi, mon seigneur. Et il dit : Parle.
  
  13 Et la femme dit : Et pourquoi as-tu pensé ainsi contre le peuple de Dieu ? et le roi dit cette parole comme un homme coupable, le roi ne faisant point revenir celui qu'il a chassé.
  
  14 Car nous mourrons certainement, et nous sommes comme de l'eau versée sur le terre, qu'on ne peut recueillir. Et Dieu ne lui a point ôté la vie, mais il a la pensée que celui qui est chassé ne demeure plus chassé loin de lui.
  
  15 Et maintenant, si je suis venue dire cette parole au roi, mon seigneur, c'est parce que le peuple m'a fait peur ; et ta servante a dit : Que je parle donc au roi, peut-être que le roi accomplira la parole de sa servante ;
  
  16 car le roi écoutera, pour délivrer sa servante de la main de l'homme qui veut nous exterminer, moi et mon fils ensemble, de l'héritage de Dieu.
  
  17 Et ta servante a dit : Que la parole du roi, mon seigneur, nous apporte du repos ! car le roi, mon seigneur, est comme un ange de Dieu, pour entendre le bien et le mal ; et l'Éternel, ton Dieu, sera avec toi !
  
  18 Et le roi répondit, et dit à la femme : Je te prie, ne me cache pas la chose que je vais te demander. Et la femme dit : Que le roi, mon seigneur, parle, je te prie.
  
  19 Et le roi dit : La main de Joab n'est-elle pas avec toi dans tout ceci ? Et la femme répondit et dit : Ton âme est vivante, ô roi, mon seigneur, qu'on ne peut s'écarter à droite ou à gauche de tout ce que dit le roi, mon seigneur ; car ton serviteur Joab, lui, m'a commandé, et a mis toutes ces paroles dans la bouche de ta servante.
  
  20 C'est afin de donner une autre apparence à la chose, que ton serviteur Joab a fait cela ; et mon seigneur est sage comme la sagesse d'un ange de Dieu, pour savoir tout ce qui se passe sur la terre.
  
  21 Et le roi dit à Joab : Voici, j'ai fait cela ; va, fais revenir le jeune homme Absalom.
  
  22 Et Joab tomba sur sa face contre terre et se prosterna, et bénit le roi. Et Joab dit : Aujourd'hui ton serviteur connaît que j'ai trouvé faveur à tes yeux, ô roi, mon seigneur, parce que le roi a fait ce que son serviteur a dit.
  
  23 Et Joab se leva et s'en alla à Gueshur, et il ramena Absalom à Jérusalem.
  
  24 Et le roi dit : Qu'il se retire dans sa maison et qu'il ne voie point ma face. Et Absalom se retira dans sa maison et ne vit pas la face du roi.
  
  25 Et dans tout Israël il n'y avait pas d'homme beau comme Absalom et si fort à louer pour sa beauté ; depuis la plante de ses pieds jusqu'au sommet de sa tête, il n'y avait point en lui de défaut.
  
  26 Et quand il se rasait la tête (or c'était d'année en année qu'il la rasait, parce que sa chevelure lui pesait ; alors il la rasait), les cheveux de sa tête pesaient deux cents sicles au poids du roi.
  
  27 Et il naquit à Absalom trois fils, et une fille, qui avait nom Tamar, et elle était une femme belle de visage.
  
  28 Et Absalom habita deux années entières à Jérusalem sans voir la face du roi.
  
  29 Et Absalom envoya vers Joab pour l'envoyer auprès du roi ; et Joab ne voulut pas venir vers lui ; et il envoya encore pour la seconde fois, et il ne voulut pas venir.
  
  30 Alors Absalom dit à ses serviteurs : Voyez, le champ de Joab est auprès du mien ; il y a de l'orge, allez et mettez-y le feu. Et les serviteurs d'Absalom mirent le feu au champ.
  
  31 Alors Joab se leva et vint vers Absalom dans la maison, et lui dit : Pourquoi tes serviteurs ont-ils mis le feu à mon champ ?
  
  32 Et Absalom dit à Joab : Voici, j'ai envoyé vers toi, disant : Viens ici, et je t'enverrai vers le roi, pour lui dire : Pourquoi suis-je venu de Gueshur ? il serait bon pour moi d'y être encore. Et maintenant, que je voie la face du roi ; et s'il y a de l'iniquité en moi, qu'il me fasse mourir.
  
  33 Et Joab vint vers le roi et le lui rapporta. Et le roi appela Absalom, et il vint vers le roi et se prosterna le visage contre terre devant le roi, et le roi baisa Absalom.
