      1 Fils d'Issacar : Thola, Pua, Jaschub et Schimron, quatre.
      2 Fils de Thola : Uzzi, Rephaja, Jeriel, Jachmaï, Jibsam et Samuel, chef des maisons de leurs pères, de Thola, vaillants hommes dans leurs générations ; leur nombre, du temps de David, était de vingt-deux mille six cents.
      3 Fils d'Uzzi : Jizrachja. Fils de Jizrachja : Micaël, Abdias, Joël, Jischija, en tout cinq chefs ;
      4 ils avaient avec eux, selon leurs générations, selon les maisons de leurs pères, trente-six mille hommes de troupes armées pour la guerre, car ils avaient beaucoup de femmes et de fils.
      5 Leurs frères, d'après toutes les familles d'Issacar, hommes vaillants, formaient un total de quatre-vingt-sept mille, enregistrés dans les généalogies.
      6 Fils de Benjamin : Béla, Béker et Jediaël, trois.
      7 Fils de Béla : Etsbon, Uzzi, Uziel, Jerimoth et Iri, cinq chefs des maisons de leurs pères, hommes vaillants, et enregistrés dans les généalogies au nombre de vingt-deux mille trente-quatre. -
      8 Fils de Béker : Zemira, Joasch, Éliézer, Eljoénaï, Omri, Jerémoth, Abija, Anathoth et Alameth, tous ceux-là fils de Béker,
      9 et enregistrés dans les généalogies, selon leurs générations, comme chefs des maisons de leurs pères, hommes vaillants au nombre de vingt mille deux cents. -
      10 Fils de Jediaël : Bilhan. Fils de Bilhan : Jeusch, Benjamin, Éhud, Kenaana, Zéthan, Tarsis et Achischachar,
      11 tous ceux-là fils de Jediaël, chefs des maisons de leurs pères, hommes vaillants au nombre de dix-sept mille deux cents, en état de porter les armes et d'aller à la guerre.
      12 Schuppim et Huppim, fils d'Ir ; Huschim, fils d'Acher.
      13 Fils de Nephthali : Jahtsiel, Guni, Jetser et Schallum, fils de Bilha.
      14 Fils de Manassé : Asriel, qu'enfanta sa concubine syrienne ; elle enfanta Makir, père de Galaad.
      15 Makir prit une femme de Huppim et de Schuppim. Le nom de sa soeur était Maaca. Le nom du second fils était Tselophchad ; et Tselophchad eut des filles.
      16 Maaca, femme de Makir, enfanta un fils, et l'appela du nom de Péresch ; le nom de son frère était Schéresch, et ses fils étaient Ulam et Rékem.
      17 Fils d'Ulam : Bedan. Ce sont là les fils de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé.
      18 Sa soeur Hammoléketh enfanta Ischhod, Abiézer et Machla.
      19 Les fils de Schemida étaient : Achjan, Sichem, Likchi et Aniam.
      20 Fils d'Éphraïm : Schutélach ; Béred, son fils ; Thachath, son fils ; Éleada, son fils ; Thachath, son fils ;
      21 Zabad, son fils ; Schutélach, son fils ; Ézer et Élead. Les hommes de Gath, nés dans le pays, les tuèrent, parce qu'ils étaient descendus pour prendre leurs troupeaux.
      22 Éphraïm, leur père, fut longtemps dans le deuil, et ses frères vinrent pour le consoler.
      23 Puis il alla vers sa femme, et elle conçut et enfanta un fils ; il l'appela du nom de Beria, parce que le malheur était dans sa maison.
      24 Il eut pour fille Schééra, qui bâtit Beth Horon la basse et Beth Horon la haute, et Uzzen Schééra.
      25 Réphach, son fils, et Réscheph ; Thélach, son fils ; Thachan, son fils ;
      26 Laedan, son fils ; Ammihud, son fils ; Élischama, son fils ;
      27 Nun, son fils ; Josué, son fils.
      28 Ils avaient en propriété et pour habitations Béthel et les villes de son ressort ; à l'orient, Naaran ; à l'occident, Guézer et les villes de son ressort, Sichem et les villes de son ressort, jusqu'à Gaza et aux villes de son ressort.
      29 Les fils de Manassé possédaient Beth Schean et les villes de son ressort, Thaanac et les villes de son ressort, Meguiddo et les villes de son ressort, Dor et les villes de son ressort. Ce fut dans ces villes qu'habitèrent les fils de Joseph, fils d'Israël.
      30 Fils d'Aser : Jimna, Jischva, Jischvi et Beria ; et Sérach, leur soeur.
      31 Fils de Beria : Héber et Malkiel. Malkiel fut père de Birzavith.
      32 Et Héber engendra Japhleth, Schomer et Hotham, et Schua, leur soeur. -
      33 Fils de Japhleth : Pasac, Bimhal et Aschvath. Ce sont là les fils de Japhleth. -
      34 Fils de Schamer : Achi, Rohega, Hubba et Aram. -
      35 Fils d'Hélem, son frère : Tsophach, Jimna, Schélesch et Amal.
      36 Fils de Tsophach : Suach, Harnépher, Schual, Béri, Jimra,
      37 Betser, Hod, Schamma, Schilscha, Jithran et Beéra.
      38 Fils de Jéther : Jephunné, Pispa et Ara.
      39 Fils d'Ulla : Arach, Hanniel et Ritsja. -
      40 Tous ceux-là étaient fils d'Aser, chef des maisons de leurs pères, hommes d'élite et vaillants, chef des princes, enregistrés au nombre de vingt-six mille hommes, en état de porter les armes et d'aller à la guerre.

      1 Benjamin engendra Béla, son premier-né, Aschbel le second, Achrach le troisième,
      2 Nocha le quatrième, et Rapha le cinquième.
      3 Les fils de Béla furent : Addar, Guéra, Abihud,
      4 Abischua, Naaman, Achoach,
      5 Guéra, Schephuphan et Huram.
      6 Voici les fils d'Échud, qui étaient chefs de famille parmi les habitants de Guéba, et qui les transportèrent à Manachath :
      7 Naaman, Achija et Guéra. Guéra, qui les transporta, engendra Uzza et Achichud.
      8 Schacharaïm eut des enfants au pays de Moab, après qu'il eut renvoyé Huschim et Baara, ses femmes.
      9 Il eut de Hodesch, sa femme : Jobab, Tsibja, Méscha, Malcam,
      10 Jeuts, Schocja et Mirma. Ce sont là ses fils, chefs de famille.
      11 Il eut de Huschim : Abithub et Elpaal.
      12 Fils d'Elpaal : Éber, Mischeam, et Schémer, qui bâtit Ono, Lod et les villes de son ressort.
      13 Beria et Schéma, qui étaient chefs de famille parmi les habitants d'Ajalon, mirent en fuite les habitants de Gath.
      14 Achjo, Schaschak, Jerémoth,
      15 Zebadja, Arad, Éder,
      16 Micaël, Jischpha et Jocha étaient fils de Beria. -
      17 Zebadja, Meschullam, Hizki, Héber,
      18 Jischmeraï, Jizlia et Jobab étaient fils d'Elpaal. -
      19 Jakim, Zicri, Zabdi,
      20 Éliénaï, Tsilthaï, Éliel,
      21 Adaja, Beraja et Schimrath étaient fils de Schimeï. -
      22 Jischpan, Éber, Éliel,
      23 Abdon, Zicri, Hanan,
      24 Hanania, Élam, Anthothija,
      25 Jiphdeja et Penuel étaient fils de Schaschak. -
      26 Schamscheraï, Schecharia, Athalia,
      27 Jaaréschia, Élija et Zicri étaient fils de Jerocham. -
      28 Ce sont là des chefs de famille, chefs selon leurs générations. Ils habitaient à Jérusalem.
      29 Le père de Gabaon habitait à Gabaon, et le nom de sa femme était Maaca.
      30 Abdon, son fils premier-né, puis Tsur, Kis, Baal, Nadab,
      31 Guedor, Achjo, et Zéker.
      32 Mikloth engendra Schimea. Ils habitaient aussi à Jérusalem près de leurs frères, avec leurs frères. -
      33 Ner engendra Kis ; Kis engendra Saül ; Saül engendra Jonathan, Malki Schua, Abinadab et Eschbaal.
      34 Fils de Jonathan : Merib Baal. Merib Baal engendra Michée.
      35 Fils de Michée : Pithon, Mélec, Thaeréa et Achaz.
      36 Achaz engendra Jehoadda ; Jehoadda engendra Alémeth, Azmaveth et Zimri ; Zimri engendra Motsa ;
      37 Motsa engendra Binea. Rapha, son fils ; Éleasa, son fils ; Atsel, son fils ;
      38 Atsel eut six fils, dont voici les noms : Azrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Schearia, Abdias et Hanan. Tous ceux-là étaient fils d'Atsel. -
      39 Fils d'Éschek, son frère : Ulam, son premier-né, Jéusch le second, et Éliphéleth le troisième.
      40 Les fils d'Ulam furent de vaillants hommes, tirant de l'arc ; et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, cent cinquante. Tous ceux-là sont des fils de Benjamin.

      2 The sons of Tola: Uzzi, and Rephaiah, and Jeriel, and Jahmai, and Ibsam, and Shemuel, heads of their fathers' houses, of Tola; mighty men of valor in their generations: their number in the days of David was twenty-two thousand six hundred.
      3 The sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Isshiah, five; all of them chief men.
      4 With them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the army for war, thirty-six thousand; for they had many wives and sons.
      5 Their brothers among all the families of Issachar, mighty men of valor, reckoned in all by genealogy, were eighty-seven thousand.
      6 The sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.
      7 The sons of Bela: Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of fathers' houses, mighty men of valor; and they were reckoned by genealogy twenty-two thousand thirty-four.
      8 The sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher.
      9 They were reckoned by genealogy, after their generations, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valor, twenty thousand two hundred.
      10 The sons of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
      11 All these were sons of Jediael, according to the heads of their fathers' households, mighty men of valor, seventeen thousand and two hundred, who were able to go forth in the army for war.
      12 Shuppim also, and Huppim, the sons of Ir, Hushim, the sons of Aher.
      13 The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.
      14 The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his concubine the Aramitess bore: she bore Machir the father of Gilead:
      15 and Machir took a wife of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maacah; and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.
      16 Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she named him Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.
      17 The sons of Ulam: Bedan. These were the sons of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh.
      18 His sister Hammolecheth bore Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
      19 The sons of Shemida were Ahian, and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
      20 The sons of Ephraim: Shuthelah, and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son,
      21 and Zabad his son, and Shuthelah his son, and Ezer, and Elead, whom the men of Gath who were born in the land killed, because they came down to take away their livestock.
      22 Ephraim their father mourned many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.
      23 He went in to his wife, and she conceived, and bore a son, and he named him Beriah, because it went evil with his house.
      24 His daughter was Sheerah, who built Beth Horon the lower and the upper, and Uzzen Sheerah.
      25 Rephah was his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,
      26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,
      27 Nun his son, Joshua his son.
      28 Their possessions and habitations were Bethel and its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with its towns; Shechem also and its towns, to Azzah and its towns;
      29 and by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Beth Shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these lived the children of Joseph the son of Israel.
      30 The sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
      31 The sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
      32 Heber became the father of Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.
      33 The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.
      34 The sons of Shemer: Ahi, and Rohgah, Jehubbah, and Aram.
      35 The sons of Helem his brother: Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh, and Amal.
      36 The sons of Zophah: Suah, and Harnepher, and Shual, and Beri, and Imrah,
      37 Bezer, and Hod, and Shamma, and Shilshah, and Ithran, and Beera.
      38 The sons of Jether: Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
      39 The sons of Ulla: Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
      40 All these were the children of Asher, heads of the fathers' houses, choice and mighty men of valor, chief of the princes. The number of them reckoned by genealogy for service in war was twenty-six thousand men.

      6 These are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of fathers' households of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them captive to Manahath:
      7 and Naaman, and Ahijah, and Gera, he carried them captive: and he became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.
      8 Shaharaim became the father of children in the field of Moab, after he had sent them away; Hushim and Baara were his wives.
      9 He became the father of Hodesh his wife, Jobab, and Zibia, and Mesha, and Malcam,
      10 and Jeuz, and Shachia, and Mirmah. These were his sons, heads of fathers' households.
      11 Of Hushim he became the father of Abitub and Elpaal.
      12 The sons of Elpaal: Eber, and Misham, and Shemed, who built Ono and Lod, with its towns;
      13 and Beriah, and Shema, who were heads of fathers' households of the inhabitants of Aijalon, who put to flight the inhabitants of Gath;
      14 and Ahio, Shashak, and Jeremoth,
      15 and Zebadiah, and Arad, and Eder,
      16 and Michael, and Ishpah, and Joha, the sons of Beriah,
      17 and Zebadiah, and Meshullam, and Hizki, and Heber,
      18 and Ishmerai, and Izliah, and Jobab, the sons of Elpaal,
      19 and Jakim, and Zichri, and Zabdi,
      20 and Elienai, and Zillethai, and Eliel,
      21 and Adaiah, and Beraiah, and Shimrath, the sons of Shimei,
      22 and Ishpan, and Eber, and Eliel,
      23 and Abdon, and Zichri, and Hanan,
      24 and Hananiah, and Elam, and Anthothijah,
      25 and Iphdeiah, and Penuel, the sons of Shashak,
      26 and Shamsherai, and Shehariah, and Athaliah,
      27 and Jaareshiah, and Elijah, and Zichri, the sons of Jeroham.
      28 These were heads of fathers' households throughout their generations, chief men: these lived in Jerusalem.
      29 In Gibeon there lived the father of Gibeon, whose wife's name was Maacah;
      30 and his firstborn son Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Nadab,
      31 and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zecher.
      32 Mikloth became the father of Shimeah. They also lived with their brothers in Jerusalem, over against their brothers.
      33 Ner became the father of Kish; and Kish became the father of Saul; and Saul became the father of Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
      34 The son of Jonathan was Merib Baal; and Merib Baal became the father of Micah.
      35 The sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tarea, and Ahaz.
      36 Ahaz became the father of Jehoaddah; and Jehoaddah became the father of Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri became the father of Moza.
      37 Moza became the father of Binea; Raphah was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
      38 Azel had six sons, whose names are these: Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.
      39 The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third.
      40 The sons of Ulam were mighty men of valor, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, one hundred fifty. All these were of the sons of Benjamin.
