  1 Et les enfants d'Issacar, furent ces quatre Tolah, Puah, Jasub et Simron.
  
  2 Et les enfants de Tolah furent Huzi, Réphaja, Jériel, Jahmaï, Jibsam, et Samuël ; chefs des maisons de leurs pères qui étaient de Tolah ; gens forts et vaillants en leurs générations. Le compte qui en fut fait aux jours de David fut de vingt-deux mille six cents.
  
  3 Les enfants de Huzi, Jizrahia ; et les enfants de Jizrahia, Micaël, Hobadia, Joël, et Jiscija, en tout cinq chefs.
  
  4 Et avec eux, suivant leurs générations, et selon les familles de leurs pères, [il y eut] en troupes de gens de guerre trente-six mille hommes ; car ils eurent plusieurs femmes et plusieurs enfants.
  
  5 Et leurs frères selon toutes les familles d'Issacar, hommes forts et vaillants, étant comptés tous selon leur généalogie, furent quatre-vingt et sept mille.
  
  6 [Les enfants] de Benjamin furent trois, Bélah, Béker, et Jédihaël.
  
  7 Et les enfants de Bélah furent, Etsbon, Huzi, Huziël, Jérimoth, et Hiri ; cinq chefs des familles des pères, hommes forts et vaillants ; et leur dénombrement selon leur généalogie monta à vingt-deux mille et trente-quatre.
  
  8 Et les enfants de Béker [furent], Zemira, Joas, Elihézer, Eliohenaï, Homri, Jérimoth, Abija, Hanathoth, et Halemeth ; tous ceux-là furent enfants de Béker.
  
  9 Et leur dénombrement selon leur généalogie, selon leurs générations, [et] les chefs des familles de leurs pères, monta à vingt mille deux cents hommes, forts et vaillants.
  
  10 Et Jédihaël eut pour fils Bilhan. Et les enfants de Bilhan furent, Jéhus, Benjamin, Ehud, Kénahana, Zethan, Tarsis, et Ahisahar.
  
  11 Tous ceux-là furent enfants de Jédihaël, selon les chefs [des familles] des pères, forts et vaillants, dix-sept mille deux cents hommes, marchant en bataille.
  
  12 Suppim et Huppim furent enfants de Hir ; et Husim fut fils d'Aher.
  
  13 Les enfants de Nephthali furent Jahtsiël, Guni, Jetser, et Sallum, [petits-] fils de Bilha.
  
  14 Les enfants de Manassé, Asriël, que [la femme de Galaad] enfanta. Or la concubine Syrienne de Manassé avait enfanté Makir père de Galaad.
  
  15 Et Makir prit une femme de la parenté de Huppim et de Suppim ; car ils avaient une soeur nommée Mahaca. Et le nom d'un des petits-fils de Galaad fut Tselophcad ; et Tselophcad n'eut que des filles.
  
  16 Et Mahaca, femme de Makir, enfanta un fils et l'appela Pérés, et le nom de son frère Serés, dont les enfants furent, Ulam et Rékem.
  
  17 Et le fils d'Ulam fut Bedan. Ce sont là les enfants de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé.
  
  18 Mais sa soeur Moleketh enfanta Ishud, Abihézer, et Mahla.
  
  19 Et les enfants de Semidah furent, Ahiam, Sekem, Likhi, et Aniham.
  
  20 Or les enfants d'Ephraïm furent, Sutelah ; Béred son fils, Tahath son fils, Elhada son fils, Tahath son fils.
  
  21 Zabad son fils, Sutelah son fils, et Hézer, et Elhad. Mais ceux de Gad, nés au pays, les mirent à mort, parce qu'ils étaient descendus pour prendre leur bétail.
  
  22 Et Ephraïm leur père [en] mena deuil plusieurs jours ; et ses frères vinrent pour le consoler.
  
  23 Puis il vint vers sa femme, qui conçut, et enfanta un fils ; et elle l'appela Bériha, parce qu'[il fut conçu] dans l'affliction arrivée en sa maison.
  
  24 Et sa fille Séera, qui bâtit la basse et la haute Beth-horon, et Uzen-Séera.
  
  25 Son fils fut Repha, puis Reseph, et Telah son fils, Tahan son fils,
  
  26 Lahdan son fils, Hammihud son fils, Elisamah son fils,
  
  27 Nun son fils, Josué son fils.
  
  28 Leur possession et habitation fut Béthel, avec les villes de son ressort, et du côté d'Orient, Naharan ; et du côté d'Occident, Guézer, avec les villes de son ressort, et Sichem, avec les villes de son ressort, jusqu'à Haza, avec les villes de son ressort.
  
  29 Et dans les lieux qui étaient aux enfants de Manassé, Bethséan, avec les villes de son ressort, Tahanac, avec les villes de son ressort, Méguiddo, avec les villes de son ressort, Dor, avec les villes de son ressort. Les enfants de Joseph, fils d'Israël, habitèrent dans ces villes.
  
  30 Les enfants d'Aser furent, Jimna, Jisua, Isaï, Bériha, et Sérah leur soeur.
  
  31 Et les enfants de Bériha furent, Héber, et Malkiël, qui fut père de Birzavith.
  
  32 Et Héber engendra Japhlet, Somer, Hotham, et Suah leur soeur.
  
  33 Les enfants de Japhlet furent Pasah, Bimhal, et Hasvath. Ce sont là les enfants de Japhlet.
  
  34 Et les enfants de Semer furent Ahi, Rohega, Jéhubba, et Aram.
  
  35 Et les enfants d'Hélem son frère furent, Tsophah, Jimnah, Sellés, et Hamal.
  
  36 Les enfants de Tsophah furent Suah, Harnepher, Suhal, Béri, Jimra,
  
  37 Betser, Hod, Samma, Silsa, Jithran, et Béera.
  
  38 Et les enfants de Jéther furent, Jephunné, Pispa, et Ara.
  
  39 Et les enfants de Hulla furent, Arah, Hanniël, et Ritsia.

  32 Et Mikloth engendra Siméa. Ils habitèrent aussi vis-à-vis de leurs frères à Jérusalem, avec leurs frères.
  
  33 Et Ner engendra Kis, et Kis engendra Saül, et Saül engendra Jonathan, Malki-suah, Abinadab, et Esbahal.
  
  34 Le fils de Jonathan fut Mérib-bahal ; et Mérib-bahal engendra Mica.
  
  35 Et les enfants de Mica furent, Pithon, Mélec, Taréah, et Achaz.
  
  36 Et Achaz engendra Jéhohadda ; et Jéhohadda engendra Halemeth, Hasmaveth, et Zimri ; et Zimri engendra Motsa.
  
  37 Et Motsa engendra Binha, qui eut pour fils Rapha, qui eut pour fils Elhasa, qui eut pour fils Atsel.
  
  38 Et Atsel eut six fils, dont les noms sont, Hazrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Séharia, Hobadia, et Hanan ; tous ceux-là furent enfants d'Atsel.
  
  39 Et les enfants de Hesek son frère furent, Ulam son premier-né, Jéhu le second, Eliphelet le troisième.
  
  40 Et les enfants d'Ulam furent des hommes forts et vaillants, tirant bien de l'arc, et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils, jusqu'à cent cinquante ; tous des enfants de Benjamin.

  1 Fils d'Issacar : Thola, Pua, Jashub et Shimron, ce qui fait 4.
  
  2 Fils de Thola : Uzzi, Rephaja, Jeriel, Jachmaï, Jibsam et Samuel, qui étaient chefs de leurs familles. Ceux qui appartenaient à Thola étaient de vaillants hommes dans leur lignée. A l’époque de David, leur nombre était de 22'600.
  
  3 Descendants d'Uzzi : Jizrachja et ses fils Micaël, Abdias, Joël et Jishija. Cela faisait en tout 5 chefs.
  
  4 Ils avaient avec eux, répartis en fonction de leur lignée et leur famille, 36'000 hommes de troupes armés pour la guerre. En effet, ils avaient beaucoup de femmes et de fils.
  
  5 Leurs frères, membres de tous les clans d'Issacar et hommes vaillants, formaient un total de 87'000 enregistrés dans les généalogies.
  
  6 Fils de Benjamin : Béla, Béker et Jediaël, ce qui fait 3.
  
  7 Fils de Béla : Etsbon, Uzzi, Uziel, Jerimoth et Iri, tous les cinq chefs de leurs familles. Les hommes vaillants enregistrés dans les généalogies étaient au nombre de 22'034.
  
  8 Fils de Béker : Zemira, Joash, Eliézer, Eljoénaï, Omri, Jerémoth, Abija, Anathoth et Alameth, tous fils de Béker.
  
  9 Ceux qui étaient enregistrés dans les généalogies, en fonction de leur lignée, comme chefs de leurs familles, tous hommes vaillants, étaient au nombre de 20'200.
  
  10 Descendants de Jediaël : Bilhan et ses fils Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaana, Zéthan, Tarsis et Achishachar.
  
  11 Tous ceux-là étaient des descendants de Jediaël et chefs de leurs familles. Les hommes vaillants étaient au nombre de 17'200, tous aptes au service militaire et à la guerre.
  
  12 Shuppim et Huppim descendaient d'Ir, et Hushim d'Acher.
  
  13 Fils de Nephthali : Jahtsiel, Guni, Jetser et Shallum. Ils étaient les descendants de Bilha.
  
  14 Descendants de Manassé : Asriel, que lui donna sa concubine syrienne ; elle avait mis au monde Makir, le père de Galaad.
  
  15 Makir prit une femme pour Huppim et Shuppim. Sa sœur s’appelait Maaca. Le nom du deuxième descendant était Tselophchad, qui n’eut que des filles.
  
  16 Maaca, la femme de Makir, mit au monde un fils qu’elle appela Péresh ; le frère de ce Péresh s’appelait Shéresh, et ses fils Ulam et Rékem.
  
  17 Fils d'Ulam : Bedan. Ce sont là les descendants de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé.
  
  18 Sa sœur Hammoléketh mit au monde Ishhod, Abiézer et Machla.
  
  19 Les fils de Shemida étaient Achjan, Sichem, Likchi et Aniam.
  
  20 Descendants d'Ephraïm : Shutélach, lui-même père de Béred, père de Thachath, père d’Eleada, père de Thachath,
  
  21 père de Zabad, père de Shutélach. Il y avait aussi Ezer et Elead, que les hommes de Gath, ceux qui étaient nés dans le pays, tuèrent parce qu'ils étaient descendus pour s’emparer de leurs troupeaux.
  
  22 Leur père Ephraïm mena longtemps le deuil et ses frères vinrent pour le consoler.
  
  23 Puis il s’unit à sa femme, qui devint enceinte et mit au monde un fils ; il l'appela Beria parce qu’elle avait été dans le malheur chez lui.
  
  24 Il eut pour fille Shééra, qui construisit Beth-Horon-la-basse et Beth-Horon-la-haute, ainsi qu’Uzzen-Shééra.
  
  25 Puis il y eut Réphach et Résheph, Thélach, Thachan,
  
  26 Laedan, Ammihud, Elishama,
  
  27 Nun et Josué.
  
  28 Ils avaient en propriété et pour lieu d’habitation Béthel et les villes qui en dépendent ; à l'est, Naaran ; à l'ouest, Guézer et les villes qui en dépendent, Sichem et les villes qui en dépendent, jusqu'à Gaza et aux villes qui en dépendent.
  
  29 Quant aux Manassites, ils possédaient Beth-Shean et les villes qui en dépendent, Thaanac et les villes qui en dépendent, Meguiddo et les villes qui en dépendent, Dor et les villes qui en dépendent. Ce fut dans ces villes qu'habitèrent les descendants de Joseph, le fils d'Israël.
  
  30 Enfants d'Aser : Jimna, Jishva, Jishvi, Beria et Sérach, leur sœur.
  
  31 Fils de Beria : Héber et Malkiel. Malkiel fut le père de Birzavith.
  
  32 Héber eut pour enfants Japhleth, Shomer et Hotham, ainsi que Shua, leur sœur.
  
  33 Fils de Japhleth : Pasac, Bimhal et Ashvath. Ce sont là les fils de Japhleth.
  
  34 Fils de Shomer : Achi, Rohega, Hubba et Aram.
  
  35 Fils de son frère Hélem : Tsophach, Jimna, Shélesh et Amal.
  
  36 Fils de Tsophach : Suach, Harnépher, Shual, Béri, Jimra,
  
  37 Betser, Hod, Shamma, Shilsha, Jéther et Beéra.
  
  38 Fils de Jéther : Jephunné, Pispa et Ara.
  
  39 Fils d'Ulla : Arach, Hanniel et Ritsja.
  
  40 Tous ceux-là descendaient d'Aser et étaient les chefs de leurs familles, des hommes d'élite et vaillants, des chefs des princes. Les hommes qui étaient enregistrés étaient au nombre de 26'000, tous aptes au service militaire et à la guerre.

  6 Voici les fils d'Echud qui étaient chefs de famille parmi les habitants de Guéba et que l’on fit émigrer à Manachath :
  
  7 Naaman, Achija et Guéra. Guéra, celui qui les fit émigrer, eut pour fils Uzza et Achichud.
  
  8 Shacharaïm eut des enfants dans le pays de Moab, après avoir renvoyé Hushim et Baara, ses femmes.
  
  9 De sa femme Hodesh, il eut Jobab, Tsibja, Mésha, Malcam,
  
  10 Jeuts, Shocja et Mirma. Ce sont là ses fils, qui étaient chefs de famille.
  
  11 De Hushim il eut Abithub et Elpaal.
  
  12 Fils d'Elpaal : Eber, Misheam et Shémer, qui construisit Ono, Lod et les villes qui en dépendent.
  
  13 Beria et Shéma, qui étaient chefs de famille parmi les habitants d'Ajalon, mirent en fuite les habitants de Gath.
  
  14 Achjo, Shashak, Jerémoth,
  
  15 Zebadja, Arad, Eder,
  
  16 Micaël, Jishpha et Jocha étaient les fils de Beria.
  
  17 Zebadja, Meshullam, Hizki, Héber,
  
  18 Jishmeraï, Jizlia et Jobab étaient les fils d'Elpaal.
  
  19 Jakim, Zicri, Zabdi,
  
  20 Eliénaï, Tsilthaï, Eliel,
  
  21 Adaja, Beraja et Shimrath étaient les fils de Shimeï.
  
  22 Jishpan, Eber, Eliel,
  
  23 Abdon, Zicri, Hanan,
  
  24 Hanania, Elam, Anthothija,
  
  25 Jiphdeja et Penuel étaient les fils de Shashak.
  
  26 Shamsheraï, Shecharia, Athalia,
  
  27 Jaaréshia, Elija et Zicri étaient les fils de Jerocham.
  
  28 Tous ceux-là étaient des chefs de famille dans leur lignée, c’étaient des chefs. Ils habitaient à Jérusalem.
  
  29 A Gabaon habitaient le père de Gabaon, dont la femme s’appelait Maaca,
  
  30 Abdon, son fils aîné, Tsur, Kis, Baal, Nadab,
  
  31 Guedor, Achjo et Zéker.
  
  32 Mikloth eut pour fils Shimea. Contrairement à leurs frères, ils habitaient à Jérusalem avec leurs frères.
  
  33 Ner eut pour fils Kis ; Kis eut Saül ; Saül eut Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab et Eshbaal.
  
  34 Fils de Jonathan : Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal eut pour fils Michée.
  
  35 Fils de Michée : Pithon, Mélec, Thaeréa et Achaz.
  
  36 Achaz eut pour fils Jehoadda ; Jehoadda eut Alémeth, Azmaveth et Zimri ; Zimri eut Motsa ;
  
  37 Motsa eut pour fils Binea, lui-même père de Rapha, père d’Eleasa, père d’Atsel.
  
  38 Atsel eut six fils, dont voici les noms : Azrikam, Bocru, Ismaël, Shearia, Abdias et Hanan. Tous ceux-là étaient les fils d'Atsel.
  
  39 Fils de son frère Eshek : Ulam, son aîné, Jéush le deuxième et Eliphéleth le troisième.
  
  40 Les fils d'Ulam étaient de vaillants hommes, capables de tirer à l'arc, et ils eurent beaucoup de fils et de petits-fils : 150 en tout. Tous ceux-là étaient des descendants de Benjamin.

  3 The sons of Uzzi: Izrahiah. The sons of Izrahiah: Michael, and Obadiah, and Joel, Isshiah, five; all of them chief men.
  
  4 With them, by their generations, after their fathers' houses, were bands of the army for war, thirty-six thousand; for they had many wives and sons.
  
  5 Their brothers among all the families of Issachar, mighty men of valor, reckoned in all by genealogy, were eighty-seven thousand.
  
  6 The sons of Benjamin: Bela, and Becher, and Jediael, three.
  
  7 The sons of Bela: Ezbon, and Uzzi, and Uzziel, and Jerimoth, and Iri, five; heads of fathers' houses, mighty men of valor; and they were reckoned by genealogy twenty-two thousand thirty-four.
  
  8 The sons of Becher: Zemirah, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jeremoth, and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these were the sons of Becher.
  
  9 They were reckoned by genealogy, after their generations, heads of their fathers' houses, mighty men of valor, twenty thousand two hundred.
  
  10 The sons of Jediael: Bilhan. The sons of Bilhan: Jeush, and Benjamin, and Ehud, and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
  
  11 All these were sons of Jediael, according to the heads of their fathers' households, mighty men of valor, seventeen thousand and two hundred, who were able to go forth in the army for war.
  
  12 Shuppim also, and Huppim, the sons of Ir, Hushim, the sons of Aher.
  
  13 The sons of Naphtali: Jahziel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shallum, the sons of Bilhah.
  
  14 The sons of Manasseh: Asriel, whom his concubine the Aramitess bore: she bore Machir the father of Gilead:
  
  15 and Machir took a wife of Huppim and Shuppim, whose sister's name was Maacah; and the name of the second was Zelophehad: and Zelophehad had daughters.
  
  16 Maacah the wife of Machir bore a son, and she named him Peresh; and the name of his brother was Sheresh; and his sons were Ulam and Rakem.

  24 His daughter was Sheerah, who built Beth Horon the lower and the upper, and Uzzen Sheerah.
  
  25 Rephah was his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son,
  
  26 Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son,
  
  27 Nun his son, Joshua his son.
  
  28 Their possessions and habitations were Bethel and its towns, and eastward Naaran, and westward Gezer, with its towns; Shechem also and its towns, to Azzah and its towns;
  
  29 and by the borders of the children of Manasseh, Beth Shean and its towns, Taanach and its towns, Megiddo and its towns, Dor and its towns. In these lived the children of Joseph the son of Israel.
  
  30 The sons of Asher: Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi, and Beriah, and Serah their sister.
  
  31 The sons of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel, who was the father of Birzaith.
  
  32 Heber became the father of Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, and Shua their sister.
  
  33 The sons of Japhlet: Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These are the children of Japhlet.
